Ten were maple bacon bourbon BBQ. OMG! Loved them. There are chopped up pieces of actual bacon on the wings. Also tried the Asian Chili and my husband had the Hoisin Teriyaki. We both enjoyed our selections. However, we're waiting on a second order of wings, all maple bacon bourbon bbq, to go. Pats game tonight and need to share those wings with our friends/fans tonight. I got 2 flavors of wings. The "evil" heat level of buffalo and some sort of amazing maple bacon wings. Juicy, hot and perfectly cooked. Great flavor. Great service too. Being from Buffalo it is hard to impress me on making awesome wings. I got the bone in evil wings. The sauce was not very saucy. It was spicy but not hot. For being wings in MA they were acceptable but for me nothing to write home about. It was essentially $1 per wing, which is excessive. The wing size was also small. Hubby had the California chicken wrap. It was huge. He said it was good but did not elaborate which means it was ok. The fries were tasty it the ketchup was weird tasting. Ordered take out because they were at covid rule capacity. Portions are huge & everything was well spiced. We got the ribs & wings combo. Ribs with bourbon bacon BBQ is heavenly tender & flavorful. Garlic Buffalo wings were a hit with the hubby - a bit to spicy for me. Kids got honey mustard chicken which was crispy tender perfection. I have been here many times over the years and now its finally time to make a review. They are not the first place to go for wings in worcester however sometimes we go here hoping for different result. my biggest gripe are the sauces and perhaps the staff not knowing what extra sauce tossed means. its literally happened every-time. The final straw to prompt this review came on Jan 4 2020. We had a 60 dollar gift card. When my wife called she said extra sauce on the chicken. She then pressed the issue again stating extra sauce as in my husband is going to make me come back in of there isnt enough. Now if i worked anywhere and i heard that i would sarcastically but so much sauce it would be a joke. That would of been awesome. We were charged for extra sauce which was expected and actually made me think for once in the years we've been going there it was going to be right. Wings Over Worcester never has an issue with this. Ever. I really do not understand. its almost as if they prohibit it. I will post photos and you will absolutely see there is literally zero sauce on part of the wings. Wicked...crazy. Decent wings and other indulgent sports bar food. Wicked Wing seems like more of a sports bar than a wing joint and the atmosphere reflects that. The wings are fine, you aren't going to have visions of them in your sleep, but they still hit the spot. The loaded fries are a pretty standard take on the dish with a beer-cheese sauce that is surprisingly subtle. No violent orange here. Went a little after 5 on a Wednesday. We were waiting for a friend to maybe join us so while we got seated right away and the staff checked at reasonable intervals and were very friendly about us waiting to order. We got an appetizer of fried mac 'n' cheese that was a little light on the cheese for my liking. I ordered the 12 bone in wings with half wicked buffalo and half evil buffalo. Now I'm pretty reasonable when it comes to buffalo sauce but I wasn't in the market for anything too hot. Their heat scale goes from 0 to 4, the two I selected were 1 and 2. The 1 was perfect for what I was looking for and the 2 was a little too spicy for what I was feeling that day. I can't imagine what 4 would be like because I was tearing up a little from the 2. The two I was with enjoyed their boneless wings. I also ordered their fries which were very heavily seasoned which while I didn't love were certainly something some would enjoy. Normally I'd give them a 3/5 but I enjoyed the place and will be going back, and I feel the aspects of the food I didn't enjoy were due to my choices. We moved in across the street from here. We have ordered the wings several times and walked over to get them. It has never been a long wait (never more then 25 minutes) and our food is always hot. Huge plus that when you order the wicked fries, they put the Alfredo sauce and bacon on the side so the fries aren't soggy when you arrive home. Their wicked fries are still amazing and I'm a huge fan of their parmesan pesto sauce wings. First, I'd like to say it's worth reading through the reviews here, a good portion of the "bad" reviews are from people who never even tried the food, were unhappy they came when the restaurant was closed, or are butt hurt that they ordered buffalo sauce it was spicy. As for my experience, I can't much complain. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. Drinks were tasty and cheap, $6 for the "southern charm" I had; a mix of deep eddy peach vodka, bourbon, soda water and lemon. Actually, I should have stuck to the mix drinks because they are pulling $6 for a pint of Be Hoppy. For our meal we ordered the tater total, boneless with there medium buffalo, and bone in with maple bacon sauce. Both delicious, lots of meat on the bone in and both were piping hot. The tots were awesome too. My only reservation is that the cleanliness leaves a little to be desired, the tables were sticky and walls next to the both a bit dirty. This place was really solid. We went on Day 2 expecting to view the kinks being worked out (but excited to try it) and I was really impressed. Great service (even on the second day). They use NoWait (app) so you get alerts when you're spot is ready and you can check your place in line. I think they eventually plan to use it to reserve, but it's not activated yet (surely due to the insanity that is opening weekend). Very nicely renovated--I went to the location when it was Snows just before it closed. The place was trashed--broken booths, creepy looking bathrooms, dingy from deferred maintenance, etc. They've completely renovated with a great, clean look--polished concrete, reclaimed wood, neutral tones. Clean and crisp looking. We actually had heard they were open several weeks before and tried to go--ended up chatting with one of the owners there working on the Reno who told us they were almost ready. The owners did much of the work themselves--I find their dedication to getting this place open and looking great really commendable. The menu was great--honestly, there wasn't a thing on it I'd be unhappy with if someone picked for me. We had 18 wings with a combo of sauces (maple bourbon bacon, siracha, and habanero buffalo). All were good and would likely be considered hot by most standards--we will try ghost chili buffalo next time. The appetizers, though--whoa. We got the Wicked Tots with cheese sauce and bacon (what?!) and our friends had the fries with alfredo sauce and bacon. And fried pickles, because who turns them down? All were tremendous. The drinks--Switchback on tap makes me a happy girl--that stuff is HARD to find in this area! Be Hoppy, as well. Did not order from cocktail menu, but it sounded great. We brought our kiddo as did our friends (both 5, well behaved in restaurants) and the staff was friendly with them. Would love to see a kids menu in the future. They happily split a pizza, but some other options for food and drinks would be a great addition. I'm not the kind of parent that brings my kid to a date night restaurant, but this type of casual fare is a perfect spot to make family friendly with just a few tweaks, IMO. The pizza was the only thing I wasn't enamored with. It was still good, but the sauce recipe could use some tweaking--it was bland. Also the three giant slices were a bit odd given that I would imagine they are often shared. Overall, an excellent experience and will definitely be visiting again. The buffalo chicken dip was hot and flavorful, and the chips were crispy and fresh. Crispy chicken, but being the condiment queen I am, I longed for more sauce. I found none of these sauces to be the slightest bit spicy, which was pretty disappointing as a hot sauce lover. The Wicked One (3/4 pound) is four chicken tenders. Sadly, you can't get at least two different sauces unless you order the Wicked Two, Three or Four. My waitress was a sweetheart, but she gave me an IPA instead of a cider and forgot to give me cajun instead of bleu cheese. Not a big deal, but the wait for the chicken was pretty long. read more

The onions were sliced perfectly, not wicked thick which is what I love and the batter was spot on.....sooo crispy and tasty. They were served with this amazing BBQ sauce which had a little sweetness to it. Best onion rings I think I've ever had really. The fried pickles were extremely yummy, great taste, perfect crispy crunch and the dipping sauce was awesome. I had the Wicked Smash Burger (no onions)....a little pink on the inside, exactly like I asked. I'm not sure what was in the sauce that was on the burger but it was great nonetheless. Even the fries were seasoned and cooked to perfection! Everyone else loved their meals also. My daughter who is 13 and has to be one of the pickiest eaters ever, LOVED the Crispy Chicken Sandwich! Came here for the first time with an out of town friend to watch the Pats destroy the Browns. We had the buffalo chicken dip and 36 wings, with 4 flavors. We bought 36 because they're cheaper by the bulk. If you get the minimum order, they're a $1 a wing - which is borderline absurd. These aren't $1 a wing size by any stretch. The buffalo chicken dip was pretty good. Nice Heat. The cheese was already solidified on top of the dish, which was kind of a bummer, but the waitress let us know the kitchen was slammed with to go orders, so we weren't surprised that things were a little hinky. The wings were alright. Not great. Not awful. Again, the waitress managed expectations by saying the kitchen was slammed and we could be waiting for quite a while. Imagine our surprise when we got our wings in 10-15 minutes. It raised my suspicion that they were just mass cooked, not cooked to order, and since they were pretty cool (temperature wise) I think my suspicions were confirmed. We had the wicked buffalo, the jerk dry rub, the sweet chili Asian, and mango habanero flavors. The buffalo was alright. Good heat. The jerk dry rub was a little non-existent. Needed quite a bit more. The sweet chili was awesome - I would've only gotten these, had I known. The mango habanero tasted a little chemically/like plastic. It was also garnished with diced mango, but it also tasted like plastic, and had the texture of dehydrated mango that had been reconstituted in water. I'd just leave the mango off. That said - I found the wait staff to be friendly, attentive, and quick. The comments about slow service isn't something I experienced, and there looked to be quite a few wait staff just waiting for tables to serve. Overall - I'd give it a 5 out of 10. Ok so not really fond of this place ? Me and the family went here on a Thursday which is kids eat free and the waitress was oblivious of this . Then the couple they sat after us she got there drinks and food before us? Very unprofessional on top of she never introduced herself when she first came to the table. So when we ordered one of the kids ordered cheese quesadilla with chicken and we specified with chicken she said ok got it . So all the food comes out and we are eating and our oldest says there's no chicken so we get our waitress inform her she takes it and disappears. She comes by after a few minutes and said she told them to rush it? Needless to say we all finished our food before it returned. Now when the good did come back it came back right less the fried that were with the original meal ? So I said to her what about the fries and she said we upgraded it to a adult entree and I looked at it and it looked just like the size of the original food they brought him . So I told her don't worry about it because I didn't wanna flip out because of this shottie ass service? Now the food was ok , but I will not recommend this place to no one because of this plus I got smoked wings and needless to say they were black and burnt not smoked.
