Don't sleep on their burger. It's cool to just sit there on a nice day and enjoy the car side service but this time I got delivery. (Felt like being lazy lol) but even their delivery is just as great quality. Their dog is solid but I always LOVE their SuperBurger. IMO they really got the idea of simplicity right. Nothing fancy about this burger. Just a juicy 1/3 patty dressed Chicago style on a sesame seed bun. But it hits big time. Their crinkle cut fries are great too but if there is one thing that stands out to me at Superdawg it's their SuperBurger.

The food was good. It was my first time being in that place. My coworker introduced me to and saying that the hotdog were good so I guess I believed him that yeah I got two hotdog during my lunch break. It was really good. The place was nice. It was kinda clean too. The service was pretty good too, so I'll make sure I'll stop in there next time and try something different.

The food was solid, but the service was slow. Not ideal for late night munchies if you're in a hurry. Arrived at 8:00 and didn't get food until 8:30. I suspect it was because they were busy cleaning up before they close at 9:00? The burger was juicy and ample. But this place is best known for their dogs. Nice, snappy sausage with all of the trimmings. I love the pickle spear and pickled green tomato on the side. The crinkle fries were crisp on the outside and fluffy inside.

I mean, what else can I say about this Chicago icon? A local staple and one best example of the goods eats from the greatest city in the world? They've got a solid hotdog here. The classic Vienna Beef frank we know and love paired with their epic super fries, pickle included. They've got indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of drive in space if you' d prefer to eat in your car. I can't say I've had a bad time here. Absolutely a great joint to go to, especially in the summer. I love this place, and I hope to explore more of the menu down the road.

Another birthday meal! I got the cheeseburger on dark rye and onion chips. Dude got a cheeseburger. We're taking leftovers home.

This was my first time here today ordered a shrimp dinner came to 17 something plus tax so pretty close to $22 opened up the box. The shrimp was good. The fries were overly cooked and very greasy and the garlic bread they gave you was soggy and wet. I'm very disappointed for the price I paid.

What a fun place! I really wanted a milk shake, and this is the place to get one, 10/10. I added a hot dog to my order. The dog was okay, 6/10. Fries, so-so 5/10. Service at the car was great 10/10. Ambiance's was 10/10, super fun place.

I loved Superdawg!! The crunch and juiciness of the hot dog itself would have me return itself! My bae digs hot dogs so we had to stop by as soon as they opened 10am for our brunch post workout. Already there were a few folks coming in to enjoy meal..I wanted to try the tamales, pineapple shake, and original Superdawg while my fiancé got the Polish sausage dog with fries, cup of cheese, and a beer. I could not finish the tamale, the taste felt off..kinda reminded me of the smell of play doh. The hot dog itself sang a symphony of flavors in my mouth tho! I loved the relish, juicy dog, poppyseed bun...all of it! So yummy! I tried my fiancé's meal and the cheese dipped in fries was so yummy too!! The pineapple shake had chunks in it but the base tasted more vanilla like..overall the meal was sensational and nostalgic. We took picks by the wieners too! Had a kitschy cute time at Superdawg!!

Good experience. Never disappoints. They got some good hot Dawgs and are quick to please. Very fulfilling and have great ingredients.

As many times as I've been to Superdawg, I've never tried the Superfish. Super indeed. Two large deep fried fish filets on a grilled brioche bun (or dark rye) nestled among crinkle cut fries, pickle spear and pickled tomato wedge. It was too much of a good thing, unfortunately, and a bit greasy. The fries seemed a bit soaked in grease. I did feel a bit queasy and did not finish. Still, a fun experience to come here and eat. Next time I will order a hot dog.

Went recently and got their fish sandwich and their supersoda. The food there was delicious if you eat right after you get it. The soda was super overfilled which made it hard to clean up but it was really good. The service was fast even though they were busy. They also have a lot of outdoor seating and you can also eat inside your car.

Definite tourist destination! Stop if you are in the area. For us, it was fine. Meant to order a burger, the menu was overwhelming so I ended up with a Whoopsieburger or something, it was a double. It was $11.25, $2 more than the single. My son complains, so no toppings, plain burger ordered here. It was fine, the burger meat was meh, but I will say, the bun was delicious. The fries are also delicious, worth getting. My problem is that there is no other price point if you just want a plain dog or plain burger. It's crazy to pay the same for a hot dog with ketchup as you play for a Chicago style dog. My opinion, but I don't love this pricing. Ultimately, the food was fine, but not stellar. That said, Superdawg is a must stop in the area. The vibe is cool for sure. Go when you have times it will take a hit to get your order.

The WORST hot dog that I've ever had! The fries were good. The service was decent. While the dining area was loud it was pleasent.

They will char your dog on the flat top grill they use for the it grilled onions for the Maxwell St. polish. 3. 4 mini supreme tamales instead of one large tamale. It was almost 11pm (they're open until 2am on Fridays.) and there were at least a dozen other vehicles in their drive-in stalls. Ordered their specialties, a Superdawg and Whoopskidawg with Superfries, Chocolate Super Malt and Black Kows. Service was fast and friendly at 11pm on a Friday. We were eating in our rental car in apx 10 min. It was cool to eat outside on a warm July night in a classic, 1950s style drive-in. The food was excellent, flavorful and fresh. I normally avoid krinkle cut fries because they are usually frozen and mushy or mealy. Not Superfries. These fresh cut fries were practically fried mashed potatoes. We loved them! The drinks were perfect. The Black Kows is basically a root beer float and served with an extra root beer "sidecar." Our only complaints were about errors with the garnishes. We specifically said we wanted all the garnishes on both dawgs and they only gave us the standard grilled onions on the Whoopskidawg and forgot the sport peppers on the Superdawg. Otherwise we loved everything. We might go back next week (before we fly home) because I really want to try their Whoopercheesie Burger and maybe a Supersundae.
