They usually have been having good food but recently not the best, the workers have been having an attitude and when i got strawberry lemonade all the syrup was at the bottom and it tasted like water at the top , i didn't think much of it maybe someone was having a bad day but then i came back today and found hair in my food, i was very disappointed because i love their food !! Only 2 people working and COVID effecting staff labor,$ to keep workers on, was super low. These two kept their cool, and hooked it up with a discount for the inconvenience. My god, if only every other FF workers had this level of composure and cohesive competence standard everywhere would workers and customers feel very positive overall in instances like the other night 6/3 or 6/4 20? Their ability to keep calm with an understanding that with two on they can only produce product at a certain rate made for a fantastic experience overall. The serve up biscuits and gravy, damn fine gravy approved by my southern Virginia father who knew his gravy. Okay he added pepper to everything but loved the gravy here. Back to breakfast, The gravy is like what I make at home... The biscuits are always fresh and is served with fresh scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage. I usually order it with both for I think 0.50 cents more. The service is friendly and your food is cooked fresh to order. If you need to get somewhere quick they make a breakfast burrito you can eat and drive with. If you are looking for a change from that that dry burger drive through try lunch here. Hot dogs in more tasty styles than you could imagine. From a plain do to a bacon wrapped bbq dog served with cheese and bbq sauce with onions on request. They also make a Chicago Dog with pickles, tomatoes, relish, onions and some little peppers on it. The loaded Street Dog with chili, cheese, bacon, catsup, onions and mayonnaise. Mayonnaise you say? It works you have to try it to understand. For a dollar more all dogs can bumped up to an ALL beef dog. Yum! The place is clean, the staff is nice, it seems to always busy and your food is cooked to order it may a minute to get when it's crowded but I have never waited long. My food is always hot and the way I ordered it. Believe it or not, I ate here because I was getting sick of Burgers like the ones they sell at Burger King, McDonalds, Jack in the Box and of course, the Carl's Jr. they have next door to the Wienerschnitzel. It was a change of pace for me because for some reason, I was in the mood for a good Hot Dog. Unfortunately, the Polish Dog I ordered at Wienerschnitzel in Imperial Beach was average at best. The Rye bread that the sandwich came on was pretty moist (like it was steamed a little) but I found the Polish Sausage to be on the small side. They also drowned out the sandwich with way too much sauerkraut for my taste. It wasn't a bad sandwich (it is afterall...Wienerschnitzel), but I did expect a little more meat on my sandwich. What can you say... it's der Wienerschnitzel. Tastes the same as/good as I recall from my youth, except now they have added some more selections, so that's a plus! But I still love the old favorites, but perhaps with the new all beef dogs. Nice, friendly service... clean, accessible. I somehow left my cell/smart phone Jeanette found it, set it aside, and kept it safe until I returned... 4 hours later. In my book, that deserves a shout-out! Yo they have tapatio at this location!!!! Tapatio! And the customer service is always legit here. Employees at the drive thru are always friendly too and always get my order right. Inside whenever I eat it's usually cold enough to make my nips hard so I suggest wearing a sweater if you eat inside. Also they would give a treat to your dog back in the day. I have never had such great service at the drive thru before! Tonight I went for a tastee freeze and some chili dogs. For starters the 5 for $5 deal is no longer valid but a text was sent out for a future date. The nice lady who took my order instantly offered to honor the promotion. My miniature pincher rode along with me. This was my "WOW" moment. As soon as I pulled up and she seen my dog she immediately asked " Can he have a treat?" I thought maybe she's gonna give him a french fry or something but sure why not. She reached down for a dog biscuit and leaned in to give it to him. Not only did it make it easier for me to keep him still while I handed her my debit card. He immediately went to the back seat and stayed put. Not many food chains are welcoming towards dogs so this put a smile on my face. We the. Received our order and a guy came to the window as we were waiting for the rest of our food. He too asked "Can I hive him a snack?" My dog was sooo excited and of course I said yes. The guy seemed a bit timid and handed me the snack to give to my dog. I can tell he might or had a bad experience before but still went out of his way to try again. I handed my dog the treat and the guy started laughing and thanked us for stopping by. I went through the drive thru, we were the only one in the drive thru. It took forever to order. We ordered a deluxe burger, a chocolate shake, and a freezee. I sat at the window for about 5 minutes at first and the manager walked by looked at me waiting and just kepted walking. Finally the cashier came up took my money gave me my burger and then gave me change.....the drinks sat there for about 5 minutes before they put tops on them to give to us, by the time i got my shake I had to give it back to her because it would have been like drinking melted ice cream YUCK when I asked for a new one the manager was questioning why I returned it made some sort of comment i couldn't hear and then handed my another one and making a smart allic comment "I put ice cream in it this time"....Like i was supposed to be thankful that my shake finally got done right. read more

If it wasn't for the fact that I love hot dogs because I grew up in the north east eating them on a regular basis I'd never come here. Tonight I watched the girl at the drive in window take my money, take out the trash, come back in without washing her hands (she used hand sanitizer on them) then commenced to refill the plasticware by rubbing her hands all over the utensils! Yuck!! She probably doesn't wash her hands when she uses the restroom either. Double yuck!! In case anyone is interested, it was the skinny, blonde, that looks like a teenage boy. The food is consistent and Customer service is average compared with other locations- nothing spectacular, yet nothing bad to note. Not a bad place. Parking is good and good location. The food I have had so far is really good (corndogs, mini-corndogs, chili cheese dog, and Junkyard dog). The only thing that brings the rating from 5 stars to 3 is that every time I have been there I can see the cook in the back handling all the food with his BARE HANDS!! YUK!!! I'm sure he washes them, but ummm yeah... bare hands. Every other restaurant the food handlers have some sort of gloves on, but not this guy. read more
