I don't recommend ordering from this location--whether in person, through the drive-thru, or via DoorDash. Nearly every time I've ordered, something has been missing--either a straw, sauce, or other basic item. Most recently, on Monday evening, I placed a DoorDash order and received a salad with no croutons, no dressing, and not even a single napkin in the bag. This kind of carelessness has happened multiple times, which tells me the staff are inattentive and lack attention to detail. I don't recommend this location. I got the spicy deluxe sandwich and it was soft almost gooey. Like something they would do at a Popeyes or something. Never had that happen to me at Chick-fil-A. Yulma jule and ms Selma Silva are the only two reasons while I come to this store every day in the morning they're amazing customer service, and thorough through to make sure that all my needs are always met. It is such a wonderful way to wake up in the morning to have their smiling beautiful spaces saying good morning to me by name, I work for the government and it is very trying and tedious at times. Chula Vista Broadway Location is close to where I live. The Manager, Abraham, took our order and made sure in great detail to include, very accurately, all the items we ordered. The inside of the restaurant is clean and the flower arrangement at each table make the whole place look great. Our food was brought to our table in a short amount of time and everything we ordered was included. The Market Salad w/ Grilled Filet and The Fresh Lemonade were both Phenomenal. read more

ORDER IN PERSON NOT THROUGH THE APP IF YOURE DOING DINE IN AND THE RESTAURANT DINING ROOM IS BUILT A LITTLE WEIRD. Take my review with a grain of salt because I showed up second day after opening and they stay BUSY, at least inside the dining room. My friend put her order through the cashiers and received her food in like 3 minutes. I being an ex chick fil an employee opted for putting in a Dine In order through the app and that was a mistake at this location. I'm usually big on ordering through the app directly because of the convenience and I don't love interacting with the cashiers. I put my order in and accompanied my friend to order hers at the front where I was a bit shocked by the cashiers behavior towards my friend. Cmon guys I remember distinctly that FOH training was making sure that you're saying "My pleasure", "Yeah absolutely" meanwhile we got a dismissive cashier who's upset because my friend isn't specifying if the number 2 combo is regular or deluxe. Okay but digressing from that, they took 15 minutes to bring out my food order. Again as an ex FOH member it's clear that they obviously gave my food out to the wrong person since it cleared on my app and it's not like the food was in the front. But see my thing is that I went and talked to 3 employees 3 different times telling them that there was an issue with my order, that it hadn't been delivered and if they could please have it brought to table 1. 2 employees eventually brought it to me after I basically kept staring them down every single time they entered that dining room to bring an order. They were really sweet and apologetic and the food was actually really good which is why they get their 4 stars, although I really just think that they need to streamline the dining room process and remind them to take a breather fr. They're really stressed out and as a customer you can tell. Now I just KNOW that BOH crew is working their butts of and I wanna commend them for that since nobody really does and I want to remind yall the moral of the story, order with the cashiers and just scan your app code for the time being. I don't blame a single employee there as they are doing great, always nice and kind. But the management has to be one of the worst I've seen/experienced not just at a chic fil a or a fast food place but any location. Not just my experience but as you can see from the other reviews a lot of the problems are the speed and many forgotten items, and yes that doesn't ultimately come down to the individuals working but only see it as a reflection of the management, when you first started a job did it fall solely to you to uphold company standards without help or property workplace organization or structure? And if you answer yes your managers and bosses probably sucked also but besides the point. I've seen other reviews specifically calling out the owner of this location and I agree with the sentiment that they have to suck because literally any other chic fil a I've been to was near flawless in a timely manner to the point it almost seemed unreal, luckily this location proved that it actually takes good leadership and not just someone thinking they can franchise a chic fil a location and use the name to find success. Ultimately I would strongly recommend going to a different location as any additional travel time would be made up for in the wait time alone not to mention the ease of mind knowing your order will be good. In other news after roughly 6 bad experiences here i will be writing reviews about this location to other chic fil locations simply because yes this one location is just that bad. Giving 1 star since you have to go back to the restaurant to get your order fixed/get a refund unlike other fastfood restaurants where they solve your problems thru the app. It wasnt worth the 20 min drive back to get my order fixed so i just took the loss. a bad review speaks more volume anyways. I had ordered my sandwich with extra customization costs and it did not come with any of them so i paid extra for no reason. The worst Chick-fil-A location I have ever been to. I made a mobile order for ONE item: a chocolate milk shake. I walked in and stood by the pick up area. Not one employee acknowledged me if I was waiting for an order. 10 minutes pass by looking at my watch so I had to ask for someone to finally help me. Order for Joe I ordered only a milk shake. Another 10 minutes pass by I finally get my milkshake. I didn't realize a milkshake took longer to make than putting together a chicken sandwich?! When I get in the car to go on my way. I realized my cup was dripping liquid. So I had to go back inside to ask for another one. By the way no apologizes from the employee. I waited again another 10 minutes for my shake. Still no replacement milkshake. I had to ask again umm I still waiting on my milk shake... I can over hear them. No one made the milkshake? I said you know what just give me a refund. I told the cashier what had happened. Her excuse was they are short staffed. This does not give an excuse for you guys to ignore your paying customers waiting for orders. And not even having the sense of urgency to take care of a customer with a problem with there order making it priority! I went ahead and asked for the manager and saw employees laughing at me in the background. This place has horrible customer service! Very excited about this opening. They could work on service which i know is a big thing for this franchise. Stopped by right as they opened. 2 other cars waiting on the drive thru. At 6:00 am a person came out to put their outdoor signs and open the drive thru. Unfortunately, no one was taking orders.
