About 40 minutes into the wait, I was told they were out of chicken, which meant I never received the chicken and waffles I ordered. I also never received my baked beans. I understand that restaurants can run out of items, but I wish we had been told much sooner instead of waiting that long. What makes this even more disappointing is the amount of money we spent, and as you can see from our receipt, we tipped very well. We came in wanting to support the business and have a good experience. Unfortunately, between the long wait, missing food, and the quality of what we did receive, I honestly don't feel the experience was worth the money. We were also visiting from out of town and specifically chose this place, so it was disappointing to spend such a large part of our visit waiting for food we ultimately didn't receive. I really feel that some type of refund or compensation should have been offered, especially for the items we paid for but never received.
