My son and I were picking up some Chipotle when we saw this place next door. Plenty of parking on a Wednesday evening (most of the cars park over by the In N Out.) Decided to try this place out rather than swing by McD's. The seating was closed off, but that was nbd to us since we were getting to go. The gal that helped us wasn't unfriendly or anything, but she couldn't have seemed more disinterested. We ordered the Signature Set which comes with the Classic, Two Hands, and Spicy, and we got the beef hot dog in all three. I must say, the first bite was pretty amazing. I've never had anything quite like it. The outer crunch combined with the softer cornbread - we really liked it. I did find it to be a bit heavy after a while, and perhaps I was affected by the pure guilt of eating something so unhealthy. The good: A corndog was under $5! I got the crispy rice corn dog which was texturally super crunchy and had the optional dusted sugar outside with mustard and ketchup. The corndogs come individual boxes. I liked that the condiments were already drizzled on it because it made eating it faster/easier. Inside, there are 4 small tables that can be pushed together for larger groups. There are some bench seats outside as well. You can choose what you want on the inside but the half mozzarrella and half meat is standard and doesn't cost extra. I liked that the corn dog was freshly battered and fried. I liked the chewy consistency of the batter and how thick it was. It was nicely browned. The cheese pull was strong. The cheese was so stretchy I almost choked on it The bad: The a/c (?) or air from the front door blew in a draft so it was cold inside. I tried ordering a cup of tap water but the cashier said she only had bottled or sparkling so I went for an horchata slushy instead which was a regret because it cost $4.59 (?) which was almost as much as the hot dog and came from a slushy machine. I think it was a premix rather than freshly made horchata. Deep fried and battered corndogs with condiments that are full of sugar plus extra dusted sugar on the outside and extra carb bits would definitely qualify as a bad aspect. It just sucks that all of the bad things taste so good! The interior had a TV but the dining space is narrow and isn't the most cozy or inviting of spaces. Since they've been opened I've gone multiple times and the quality was always 10/10 but these past couple of months the quality has gone down a lot the oil always taste burnt and the sizes on the corn dogs are tiny compared to what they used to be, they used to give extra sauce packets as well now they don't include them. They also close earlier than what's listed on the door and online if you go at 7:30 they're already closed although it says 8:30 everywhere else. What a pleasant surprise this was! Although their options were limited, it was so hard to choose because everything looked so delicious. Not only that, everything I ended up ordering was super delicious. I got the Kimchi Seasoning French Fries with seasoning on the side, Potato, Dog, Spicy Dog, and their Elote. There was so much flavor; I couldn't get enough. Parking was easy; there was a lot of spaces even though the lot seems to be full because there are other retail stores that demand customers as well. Service was quick and servers were kind. They didn't seem to have tap water, so you would need to purchase bottled water from them. Ambience was OK. The music was kind of low in volume. For this kind of establishment, I thought it would be a little more bumping, but maybe it was because it seemed to be a slow day. That didn't take away from how delicious the food was. This is a review based on delivery experience. By the time the corn dog arrived (probably 30-45 mins later), mozzarella was solid and the dog was lukewarm. I would really suggest they find a way to keep the dogs warmer for delivery orders, or have instructions on how to warm it again (oven/air fryer/etc). Potato dog half mozzarella and half hot dog: delicious sauce. But due to delivery, it lacked crispiness, mozzarella was solid and not stretchy, and the Cheetos (stale by that time) was also in the bottom of the box hard to get back on the corn dog itself. This is just a fancy corn dog place whose only legit reference to Korea is the powdered bean topping for the Injeolmi Dog. Let's be clear (unlike the menu and website. It's not just me, either; my friend was confused). Whatever batter they are using tasted like corn to me. This trend is all hype. They make their corn dogs fresh and you can even see the whole process via a clear viewing area at the side. For our order; we got the Potato Dog and the Crispy Rice Dog! We really liked both. Their batter is super delicious and the topping they put on top added even more flavor. I love how the potato and crispy rice give that extra crunch. I also really love the Two Hands dirty sauce. With $1.04 tax, my ticket was $12.02. The standard filler is half mozzarella and half sausage--so you get a combo corn dog / fried mozzarella stick. But I wanted a corn dog (no mozzarella); so, the prices I mentioned above include a small upcharge so that my entire filler was a beef sausage. (A vegetable based filler is avalable, too.) The breading is a corn batter. After frying, the exterior is crispy and crunchy; the interior is a little bit chewy--almost a bit gooey.
