Delicious sandwiches and potatoes what make my mouth salivate! Quick to order. Fresh ingredients and spot on service.

Philly Steak Sandwich with Tots & Drink combo

I think I should have ordered the Great Steak sandwich with provolone, so my choice made the experience not as preferable. I usually enjoy sandwhiches with lettuce and tomato. The Philly Steak sandwich was good, but I am not huge a fan of liquid cheese. The staff are friendly and the restaurant has adequate seating. Overall a good experience for a first time.

Signature Steak Philly Large with cheese sauce and grilled onions.

Tried out their large Signature Steak Philly with cheese sauce and grilled onions. First impression was not too good. A bit small for it being their "large". I assumed quality over quantity but unfortunately upon first bite the "signature steak" had an odd taste. Almost like how you deep fry different food into the same cooking oil. Aside from that the service was great and the restaurant was very clean and well kept.

Got the Original Philly plus large fries. Very generous on the portion for the fries. The sandwich was tasty. However, the soft roll they used was awesome.

Through my teens, I was an ardent supporter of Big Mike's Philly Cheesesteak in Hermosa before it closed down, and stopped going entirely because the Redondo location just stopped being good after a while. I haven't been able to find a good place to get a Philly cheesesteak since, and my husband has been craving them for days, so we decided to order takeout from here. I've gotta say--this is a damn good Philly cheesesteak. I got mine Chicago style while he got his plain, and we both got a side order of the cheese fries. I do wish they went a bit heavier on the bell pepper and mushrooms but I can just ask for extra next time, that's more personal preference than anything. The bread didn't get soggy or anything between the time it took to pick it up and drive it home like a lot of places do, the fries weren't exactly crispy but they weren't limp or gross and had a very good flavor even without the cheese. My husband was also very happy with his order. It's fairly priced, everything totaled out to about $30. I'd absolutely come here again.

Located off 190th in Torrance. I haven't been here since pre Yelp days I always forget about this spot. Parking is shared with all the other businesses in the plaza. They have a good amount choices in sandwiches here as well as fries and potatoes. I got the turkey philly which was very good and the regular fries. Overall good sandwiches here I'll be back again

Since we were craving Philly cheesesteaks, we were excited to find out they also have a Redondo Beach location. I ordered the regular 6" Philly cheesesteak and customized it with grilled onions, sweet peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. My husband decided to go for the large 12" Hawaiian Philly, which comes with teriyaki sauce, cheese, and pineapple, and he added mushrooms for an extra $0.75. I requested both sandwiches toasted, and they were still delicious even after the 10-minute drive home. The employee who took our order was especially kind and friendly. I really appreciated that he brought the food outside to me while I was waiting instead of making me come back in when it was ready. After reading other reviews, it sounds like I definitely need to try the garlic parmesan fries with my next sandwich order.

Waiters kept checking on us. Got the mild Buffalo Wings for $14 and Parmesan Fries for $6. The wings were good. The Parmesan Fries were really good, they didn't skimped on the Parmesan. Both dishes were small and came with ranch sauce. Got place to watch the games with friends. Not the place to have a conversation. The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.

I especially like their breakfast burritos and have had good experiences here before. Unfortunately, this visit didn't quite go as planned. I ordered the ham and sausage burrito, which costs extra as a two-meat option, but when I got home it only had ham and no sausage. The burrito itself still tasted good, so this felt more like an order mistake than a quality issue. One thing to note is they charge a fee for credit card purchases, so cash might save you a little if you come often. Overall, still a solid local spot for a quick bite, especially breakfast, and I'll probably still come back.

The Reuben with corned beef and the Reuben with pastrami. Both plates come with your choice of a salad and pickles. I recommend the potato salad; it's my culinary guilty pleasure. Truthfully, I don't get that much a smoky taste from the pastrami, but it's still delicious. That corned beef is so wonderful, it's so tender and falls apart so easily upon a bite. Their soda menu is a very lowkey, unsung hero. I've tried soda brands you don't typically see in grocery stores. Their ginger ale hits the spot without fail each time. I think one drawback is that this place doesn't allow adjustments. I've personally never asked for any, but I can see how other customers might find that off-putting. I typically do a pick-up order vs. dining in, but when I do enjoy the sandwich in the restaurant - the service is super quick and cordial. The interior of the place itself isn't exactly upscale, but it's also more polished than a standard diner. TONS of seating inside and a few tables outside if you want to enjoy your food with some fresh air. Only in the last decade or so, I started hearing about the great sandwiches at Tucker's yet I only went in for Lotto tickets thinking that if I won sometime, it'd make for a good story. "Back to his roots, David K. wins Powerball..." Well, I am in charge of a lotto group of 14 families and we WON in December 13th's drawing! 4 numbers, not including the Powerball. A whopping $447 and they put it on the wall and everything! And we decided as a group to roll that into last night's drawing in addition to our usual buy in...and we won $56 dabnabit! But I was feeling pretty good about winning the 4 numbers so I decided to order up some sammies for the family. The boy and I decided to go splitsies and share the Turkey Avocado on Squaw Bread and the Pastrami Hoagie. The wife ordered the BLT. The staff are nice, friendly and efficient. It didn't take long at all to whip up 3 yummy sandwiches. The wife enjoyed her BLT and I had my half of the Turkey Avocado yesterday and it was great. The squaw bread was particularly fantastic. I had my half of the Pastrami today and heated it up in the toaster oven. I really enjoyed it and would definitely get sandwiches here again. It looks like all the meats are high quality Boar's Head products. And I enjoyed the bread the Pastrami was on as well. Prices are inline with other sandwich places. The market itself is jam packed with all sorts of snacks/drinks and goodies. They even sell ping pong balls and dice. I look forward to trying more on the menu next time!
