Such a cute place & the vibes are so great! The service was very fast & the staff were very nice! Now onto the acai- overall acai base is delicious! One thing I would just recommend is way less toppings. You can't fully enjoy the acai without a bunch of toppings in your mouth which defeats the whole purpose. Don't get me wrong- the toppings were super fresh & delicious but as I posted in the second picture- the toppings could be split in half the quantity it's given. Best protein smoothie I've ever had!! Popeye smoothie is epic! Definitely coming back again!!!

Went in with my cousin and ordered 2 bowls and a smoothie. After tipping 15% the total was $50. The card reader has an automatic tipping prompt so it was semi forced to add an additional $6 to the total. I was in too deep to leave, but man that is some super expensive Acai. She got the Hawaiian bowl and it was good but the proportions were off, she mentioned there were so many macadamia nuts it was like eating butter after a few bites. I got the protein bowl and it was fine. The powder was not mixed all the way, but it was a non issue. I also wish there had been more granola. I didn't have any glaring issues aside from the price for the size. I understand the bowls are placed right in front of you when you checkout, I guess I just expected it to be more full with the fruit on top like other Acai places. For the price I think I would prefer to go to Jamba Juice or 5.2 patio down the road but I'm glad to see a healthy spot in montrose. read more

LOOK, I don't want to be a hater. But I feel really compelled to come out of my Yelp shell and post a review. For starters, it's expensive. I get it, I live down the street. I know we have to survive, and you will. But for me, it was a little rough. Then came the product part. The acai itself needs 100% to be reformulated, or maybe a new vendor etc. or maybe storage, I don't know. The consistency is wrong. I promise. It was like gooey shaved ice. I have had acai everywhere. Even in South America. This was a first for me. It's not normal, even the one from the froyo place on comer taste correct. That was what prompted me to write this review. I felt cheated out of $13.50 for something I really wanted to enjoy that I ended up discarding. The toppings were on point, the menu is easy. Everything is good! I know the owner will read this, this is constructive criticism. Please do not be insulted. You can improve. You can do it. The location is great. The ambiance is amazing. Love having an acai place close to home because now I can go a little more often than I should. (& delivery!) The açaí base might be more creamy and sweet than some other tart bases but it's actually really good. Today I asked for some pitaya in my bowl because I've never tried it but the worker gave me a free scoop! Yay:) it was also really good-- I'm probably going to get half pitaya half açaí next time I order. I do think the pitaya is sweeter than the açaí though. They told me they use pineapple sugar instead of cane sugar, but I'm not really sure if that makes the bowls healthy. I buy them as alternatives to ice cream so definitely the healthier choice but it's also 3-4x the price. The only down side would be that the prices are more expensive than other açaí places in SoCal and to some it might seem ridiculous to spend $17 on a bowl of fruit. Still, I'm used to it so I order takeout/delivery a few times a month to treat myself:) read more

No surprise that quality ingredients leads to quality food. The açaí bowls have been consistently good. And the caprese pesto sandwich with turkey has just the right zing to it. I had an empanada here once but don't remember it. That's not a testament to how good or bad it is; just how bad my memory is getting. read more

A quick Yelp search brought up Wild Açaí and we decided to give it a try. A wonderful employee helped us choose what we wanted since it was our first time there. She told us that we can also make our own. I decided to get the Rainbow smoothie and my best friend got the Wild Açaí special with her own twist. We both loved our drinks. This is a perfect place to have a quick lunch or a cup of tea. I popped in about two weeks ago and had a vegan empanada which was delicious. One empanada filled me up. There were some lovely pastries on offer as well. The owners were so helpful and kind - they offered me a complimentary cup of tea or coffee because it was raining!
