( I saved $100 by checking the crawlspace traps myself thus it was $850) The house was empty and access was very easy. Randy came out assessed the property and found a tiny hole in the air vent screen to the crawl space on my patio and showed me how they were getting in. He gave me suggestions on how to fix the problem and set some traps to catch any stragglers. From that point on- no more mice getting in! I moved into my home 3ish years ago. The house had spiders, ants and fleas. I called Randy we set a date and he was on time. I was told the house, yard and flea treatment would last 2 years- it is true! I have cats and dogs and no flea issues! I even went to 2 and 1/2 years before I called him out for a second treatment. He is very knowledgeable and has also informed me of air filtration units which I haven't tried yet?! He came out and did a lawn treatment/fertilizer to improve my grass! Elm leaf beetles (Xanthogaleruca luteola) are common insects that chew leaves of elm trees. Elm leaf beetle damage may look like Dutch Elm disease at first. Closer inspection reveals the chewing damage. Adult beetles chew through foliage, leaving holes. Larvae feed on leaf undersides, skeletonizing leaves and creating a windowpane look. Leaves turn yellow and brown, and then drop prematurely. After a couple of seasons, the tree will die. General Tree came out and treated the tree and saved the day. We will have to spray again in the fall and will start root treatments to prevent beatles returning.

General Tree came out promptly, explained the disease (fungus, made worse by the exceptionally wet spring), and suggested an action plan. They pruned the tree's overgrown and intertwining branches and put us on a schedule of dormant spraying. All for what we think is a reasonable price. Their staff is cordial, professional, and extremely respectful of the owner's property. They did a great job cleaning up after trimming the tree. Nice people who are willing to explain procedures and answer questions. They know trees and how best to care for them. This is a strong recommend.

However, he never rang my doorbell after his first visit. I am also positive he did not come here 8 times in the two weeks. His records may indicate that he did, but it didn't happen. AND, he most definitely did show up on Sunday morning. In my opinion, his visits should have been texted or emailed to me with a report of action taken.

He clearly told me he would be writing up a report and that the photos would be used for this report. He told me, based on what he saw, that I could file "civil litigation." He went over a list of notes with me about the conditions he observed in my unit. This was all high stakes due to an infestation in my unit and my property manager doing nothing. After he left, I requested a copy of the report for myself and to give to the property manager. The VP, Wayne, says the company doesn't do that and won't give me the notes or photos from the visit. Why is Guaranteed Pest Control Services coming to homes to take photos and notes and not allow the homeowner to have access to these? Wayne has been dismissive, ignoring my messages. His rep either blatantly lied, or else the VP is lying. Unreliable, rude, dismissive company who lies. Do not recommend.
