    Cobb and added salmon

Ima a sucker for a good salad. My go-to order at Wild Beet is the Cobb salad add salmon and of course you can't go wrong with Miss Vicks smoked house bbq chips. I enjoy making my own salad on the slip of paper/menu and just handing it to the waiter after I made my selections. It makes everything go smoothly when ordering plus the wide glass covering is hard to talk over. The service is really fast I mean you are in and out in less than 10 minutes. So if you are looking for a quick bite to eat for lunch that's healthy, this is perfect.

Okay so the Thai peanut and steak salad are my favorite. I'm eating through the entire menu but each time I want to try something new I end up ordering the mouthwatering Thai peanut salad or the delicious steak salad with blue cheese. I'm going to try my best to order the Salmon salad next time. Salads are chopped but you can request for them not to chop it. Efficient and great service. Definitely check this place out.

Traveling for business and needed diner. Found on Apple map, great find. A filling salad, fresh ingredients, tasty dressing. I returned for lunch ( was very busy and line moved quick) and diner the second night.

The quality at this place can be hit or miss--some days are excellent, while others fall short. Today, I was concerned about the cleanliness when I noticed several flies landing on the salad toppings. I recommend that they use covers on all their toppings. Additionally, the salad was unevenly chopped, leaving large chunks. The picture shows one of the flies resting on the dried onions.

Freshly chopped salads! I like how you can choose from a wide variety of choices to custom make your salad or just order straight from their menu. Everything is very fresh and made quickly. I love their sweet tea!

I order salads from here pretty frequently. The salads are so fresh, filling and tasty. I think they are large enough for two people to share or you can split the salad into two main meals. The one thing I don't recommend from here are the "quesadillas". JMO- they are NOT quesadillas and should not be referred to as s

Meat very dry and mixed chicken and salmon. I ordered the Greek salad with salmon. During lunch, I guess they are too busy to give quality products!

I was in the area and decided to stop by and check this place out. I've never been here so I was definitely interested in a healthy food store where you could make your own salads. They wasn't busy when I arrived and I was able to jot down the type of salad I wanted plus watch it get made. The salad I created was pretty basic but it was pricey. I ended up paying $18 for a salad but the portion size was huge! I wasn't able to eat all of it and had some leftover. The dressings are homemade which is a plus and the ingredients were fresh. I would definitely return!

If you like raw vegetables in a cold tortilla than this is for you, but you had better bring a big wallet! Very expensive for a basic wrap.

Great salads, but very slow process. They also don't answer the phone during lunch time hours for to-go orders.

And it was definitely the right choice for me. Filled with chicken, garlic, lettuce, pickles and it was yummy goodness. I ordered a side of fries, they weren't anything special, but they were made right as I ordered. My friend ordered the falafel sandwich and the Fattoosh side salad. The salad is pretty big and can be shared and the Lebanese dressing was light and refreshing. She enjoyed her sandwich. Everything was prepared to order and made right in front of you. You can order to go or eat in. Service was quick and the place got busy quick. They also serve breakfast, but I didn't see a menu for that. If you haven't visited please do! The place isn't huge, you seat yourself, we paid at the end of our meal. Will definitely return

It is a Michelin recognized (i.e., fancy) authentic Szechuanese restaurant. While I can't comment on the authenticity, the flavors are deeper and bolder than any Chinese cuisine I've ever had. My brother and I fight over which is better, the boiling fish or the dry pot. Really, everything we've had has been excellent. It's possible to go affordable here with something like a fried rice dish, but I recommend being adventurous and trying something new. Every dish is sharing size and a table of two could eat their fill with one or two dishes. They get busy during peak times but they're good at turning tables and I've never had a bad wait. I'll note that the food comes out suspiciously quick, seemingly regardless of what we order it takes around 5-10 minutes, even when we brought a larger party.

The restaurant was not overly busy, which made the entire experience relaxed and enjoyable from the moment we walked in. The first thing that stood out was the service. Everyone there was welcoming, patient, and genuinely friendly. Since it was our first time trying a few things on the menu, we had several questions, and the staff took the time to explain everything without making us feel rushed. They gave recommendations, explained the toppings and flavors, and helped make ordering easy. I decided to try the specialty hot dogs, and honestly, they were amazing. They were packed with flavor and loaded with fresh toppings that worked perfectly together. The combination of creamy avocado, fresh vegetables, sauces, and perfectly cooked meat created a unique flavor that was both fresh and filling. Every bite had something different going on, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality and made with care. The presentation alone looked incredible, but the taste backed it up completely. The atmosphere was comfortable and casual, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy good food with family or friends. Nothing felt rushed, and the overall vibe made the experience even better. If you are looking for something different from the usual restaurant options and want flavorful food with friendly service, Las Tortugas is definitely worth visiting. We will absolutely be coming back again.

3.5, I think? This was a tough one for me to rate…read more My aunt lives near Las Tortugas and I've been reading about and thinking about visiting for years whenever I'm in the Memphis area. The stars aligned on this most recent visit and so I got to try them. This location in Germantown is a little easy to miss signage-wise, but Google Maps got me here easily. The parking lot is small but paved nicely and easy to navigate. The inside of the restaurant does feel like a deli, with a counter to order at and a small but reasonable amount of seating. The restaurant's accolades are plastered on walls and the glass windows around the food prep area and it's fun to read the history and writing about this place. There is one semi-essay seemingly from the owner, directed at patrons, grousing about customers having certain expectations about the food they're served (Tex-Mex versus authentic Mexican, for example). The owner is adamant that authentic Mexican is served here, and I have no reason to doubt that at all nor expect anything different, but I must admit the tone was rather off-putting. I can see how it would be frustrating to have your food, your work, be misunderstood or misinterpreted, but it kind of felt like I was being lectured when I hadn't done anything, lol. At any rate, I walked up to the counter to order. Service was adequately if not /especially/ friendly. I placed an order for a sandwich (Tortugas de pollo) as well as a limonada (fresh-squeezed limeade) to go. I waited at one of the tables and my order was ready for me in a reasonable amount of time. My favorite thing was the limonada! It had closer to an Icee texture than a juice or limeade texture but I really liked it. Pleasantly sweet and sour and very refreshing. The sandwich was good if not mind-blowing. Maybe my expectations were just a little too high. One problem was that it got pretty soggy very, very fast - it took me less than 10 minutes to get back to my aunt's house and unbox my food and in that time, the bottom piece of bread on my sandwich was close to falling apart. Some of the chicken was also a little too strong-tasting for me; it's hard to describe but I imagine we've all had chicken that's a little too obviously...well, chicken, lol. Not super mild tasting meat, I guess is what I'm trying to say. That aside, I enjoyed the texture of the cheese and the heat of the peppers. The top slice of bread was also nice and crusty. The sandwich came served with a handful of chips less generous than it appears in the photo and some green salsa. The chips were a little over-fried for me but decent enough, and the subtly spicy salsa went well with them. I think the greatest sticking point for me is the price vs. the quantity of food vs. the relative enjoyment. My meal was a solid bit over $30. I prooooobably could've split the sandwich with someone else and been okay, but given the relatively paltry amount of chips, I was also okay eating it as a solo diner. I think if the price had been a little lower, or the portion of chips a little bigger, or the enjoyment of the sandwich a little greater - any one of those things - this would probably round up to a 4. But ultimately the sticker shock and somewhat condescending vibes lead to a lower rating from me. Idk, I would definitely say this restaurant is worth a try and I'm glad I experienced it and would recommend trying it to others who enjoy this type of Mexican food. That said, I'm also not completely confident I'd return on another visit to Memphis. Well, okay, I would definitely for the limonada. That thing was awesome. ;)
