Appearance and overall sensory experience on first impression is great. Menu is super and has nice variety. Then, the service greatly disappoints. Took 5+ minutes to get a server. Once finally ordered, 1/2 plates was wrong after we had to remind the server we didn't have food while much later arriving guests were eating. When replaced Omlette to "correct" order, came back with the omitted ingredient but also lacked several other ingredients. Pancake was not cooked completely and server was not aware of our needs at all. After all errors, still charged full price and management didn't even bother to apologize for errors. Great idea of a breakfast experience. This location needs serious management attention to improve overall efficiency from seating, food delivery and attention to detail. Great place if you love breakfast food! We had the Bananas Foster Waffle and loved it. My wife really liked her Jimmy the Greek Frittata too. The portions were big, we left stuffed. We had a good time talking to the other folks at the breakfast bar about what we had and everyone was happy with their food and a few insisted we try their dish on our next time in. Everything I've eaten here has been excellent and reasonably priced for what I've gotten. It's more expensive than IHOP or Cracker Barrel but the quality is also much better. The lemonades are all freshly made and very good, especially wildberry. Expect the place to be crowded on weekend mornings and to have a wait of at least 15 minutes or more if you're part of the Sunday brunch crowd. The only reason I'm not giving Wild Eggs 5 stars is because their service could be a lot better. They seem understaffed and I've had my service be pretty slow because the waiter was so busy. read more

I ate here once. It was delicious! My mouth waters to this day for the special I had that day. I can't remember what they called it. I only give it a 1, because the food was good. However, the service was horrible and the waitress had an attitude. We chose this restaurant, because it was close to our training conference and we only had 1 hour and 15 minutes for lunch. We arrived to this restaurant at 11:25AM and ordered our food. We did not receive our meals until 12:10PM. We complained to the waitress, who made the excuse that they were really busy and had a lot of tables to work. Looking around, there were guests at 6 tables and 3 waitresses working. The manager came to the table and stated that she didn't know what took so long, but she would go check with the kitchen to see what happened. The manager never came back. Our waitress, Nala, seemed to not care about the fact that it took forever to get our food and then took about 10 minutes to cash out our orders. Needless to say, we were late getting back to our training conference and ended up telling a class of 40 students and 2 instructors why they should never eat at this restaurant. It's too bad, because our class is always trying each other's suggestions for restaurants in the area, and they've lost some business because of their attitudes and horrible service. Really good breakfast. After spending way too much time perusing the menu ( a good sign, as this means there are a number of things I wanted to try ), I settled on Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict, which features green chile corn cakes in place of the english muffin, topped with 2 poached eggs, queso fundido, chorizo, pico de gallo, sour cream, green onions and avocado. Served with an everything muffin and skillet potatoes. I had two concerns before my food arrived; that the amount of ingredients on this plate would be overkill, and that I wouldn't be able to finish it all. My first concern melted away by the third bite...this is a well conceived and brilliantly executed dish, and so very delicious. My second concern was realized. I made it through quite a bit, as it was so good, but this a lot of food for one person. The everything muffin is a fun take on the everything bagel, so it's savory instead of sweet, with all of the flavors you would expect. Tasty, but a little dry. I will definitely return. read more

Wild Eggs is 'eggs'actly the place to go for breakfast. Simplicity at it's best without lacking anything. The food is as close to mom's breakfast as you're going to get in a restaurant. Even the orange juice is freshly squeezed from oranges ... not a carton. The atmosphere has a very "morning" feel to it. You know, when you wake up and you want something that isn't going to hurt your eyes or brain first thing in the morning. That's Wild Eggs. I almost didn't try this place because of the previous reviews but I am so glad I did. I think they must have worked out the "new restaurant" kinks that others were complaining about. I had the surfer girl omelette with grits and their everything muffin. If I want to be super picky the eggs were a tad under salted, but they were cooked perfectly and the other ingredients were fresh, well-balanced in proportion, and delicious. The muffin was perfectly seasoned and more like a cross between a muffin and a biscuit; flakey and fluffy. Very good. The grits were a little thin but also perfectly seasoned, savory and delish. Coffee was good; not Starbucks strong but fresh and hot. Tips: you can get half orders. Would recommend this since their portions are HUGE. Also, this is definitely Sunday food. Rich and heavy. Get here early, place is small and fills up fast. Sizable wait time. Service was friendly and fast. read more

Wild is a good way to describe it. With an eggstetic familiar to that of a retirement community beach condo and the fine egg art that deserves a spot in the Frist, I eggspected more than my scrambled eggs to taste 100% like dish soap. That with the ambiance of conversations about hysterectomies that happened at the table next to us, I left much less excited about the future than I had been 1 hour prior. My Family and I love this place! The food and coffee are phenomenal especially how it is served and the presentation of how the food is placed is professionally displayed. The coffee bar is a definite special touch for a breakfast restaurant. We were visiting Mammoth Cave and decided to stay back overnight. In the morning we went here for breakfast and were not disappointed with the freshly squeezed orange juice, pumpkin pie pancakes, banana foster waffles and the rancheros. While it took the kitchen three tries to get my rancheros right, the establishment still gets five stars for the great quality and service despite the heavy morning rush - they threw in a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and the rancheros were on the house as well. They know how to treat people right. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone coming to the area!! read more

Tried it again two times. The first time, it was fine. The second time (today) there was gross crap all over the water glasses again. French toast was DISGUSTING. Made with a thin sandwich bread, and undercooked. I couldn't eat it. The pregnant manager was very rude to the staff working at the front counter, it made the customers waiting uncomfortable because the manager interrupted the staff member while she was talking to us to tell her to stay at the counter, and condescendingly tapped her hand on the counter as if the staff member wouldn't have known what a counter was otherwise. The staff member handled it like a pro but if this is the kind of management Wild Eggs has, it's no wonder their food is awful and their dishes are dirty. I will not be back, and I'll tell everyone I know not to go there. read more

We returned to Wild Eggs 2 more mornings. Shamaree the manager was so friendly and on these two visits the wait staff was friendly and prompt. I tried an omelette which I loved and Eggs Benedict which was also good. My husband had the Farmers Market Skillet and liked it so much he had it both days. I really liked the coffee and missed having it on the day we left. I wish we had a Wild Eggs in Plainfield, IL., I'm missing the coffee and strawberry pancakes. read more

We decided to have breakfast away from the hotel and saw the Yelp reviews for this place. Wild Eggs is really different and an amazing breakfast place especially for kids. the place is nicely designed, service is prompt and knowledgeable. Kids plates came in very quickly followed by ours. Orange Juice was fresh, coffee was fresh, tasty and hot. The owner was gracious to let me bring in my Starbucks which candidly wasn't as good as their coffee. The Belgian waffle was spot on, especially with the fact that they use real maple syrup with is a rarity these days and a testament to the details this restaurant will go to in order to provide a wholesome family breakfast experience. All six of us came out full and happy for finding this place. I tip my hat to the owner for caring so much about all her patrons and for the amount of detail that the entire place has to go through to ensure a 5 star breakfast experience. and finally a special shout out to Xavier, our server, who made this a six stars experience had that been an option for this review read more

Well, I can't ignore the fact that everything is slow here so be prepared. It wasn't a full house when we got there. but there was the baseball team so I think that had a lot to do with it (tons of orders all at once). I think they need more cooks and drink makers...the waitress was incredibly friendly and apologized for the wait. None of us actually minded because we weren't in a hurry. I had the shot with chile and lime and it was awesome. Has a good kick and great flavor. It was fun to pass around the table just to try. The iced horchata had coffee or espresso in it and it was pretty good though I would've preferred a stronger horchata flavor. Just personal preference though. The berry lemonade my brother got was perfect. I really enjoyed the food. My brother got the Katie breakfast and he loved it. I had the lox eggs Benedict. Best eggs Benedict I've ever tasted. Perfect amount of cream cheese and great balance of flavors. No complaints. I want to try everything on their menu. Food was fantastic and service was great but i had to send back my water glass because there was food stuck on the inside. The replacement had lipstick still on it but i was too embarrassed to send that back too so i just stopped drinking. Then the condiment cup had bbq sauce on it, but i ordered extra butter. Best breakfast in Bowling Green. The Bennies Gone Wild (eggs benedict with sauteed mushrooms and an amazing sauce) is excellent. Some of the other entrees aren't as good (like the Mocha Therapy bread pudding thing--dry and kind off odd). The atmosphere is nice and there's a great selection of food. If they had real mimosas or bloody marys, I'd go even more often. If you go on the weekend, be prepared to wait for a table. read more

I went in one morning to order the apple crepes and a milk to go. The hostess was friendly, the crepes were tasty enough, but the whipped cream was watery, like it came out of a can. Wildly disappointing perhaps...Had a late brunch and most of it tasted like it had been prepared hours earlier. Biscuits were rock hard and tasted stale, what little gravy was on top was good but lukewarm at best. The skillet potatoes were bland and tasteless. Pancakes were very plain but so thick that they weren't cooked all the way through and still just raw batter in the middle (the syrup and bacon were quite good though). Go down the road 2 minutes to Home Cafe for a far superior meal and more bang for your $. read more
