In my opinion, the Wild Eggs in Carmel is the best out of the three in Indianapolis. I'm pretty sure they hired the best chef ‍ My favorite dishes are the chicken & waffles and the garlic scramble, I always have trouble deciding between the two! Amazing service, I have nothing but good things to say! Once, I asked for something with no cheese and they put cheese on my order. Great atmosphere, food, and service! Went here looking for some brunch on a Saturday morning with a friend. We ordered the creole omelet and the stuffed French toast and asked for an extra plate to split the meals. To our surprise they brought out our food already split in half. The omelet was delicious with shrimp, ham, cheese, and peppers with hollandaise sauce on top! And the stuffed French toast had a sweet cream cheese with strawberries, blueberries, and powdered sugar on top. Yum!! The wait time was minimal, only 5 mins. & the food price was reasonable! I was visiting from out of town and was super excited to see a Wild Eggs in Carmel. I have visited the Louisville, Kentucky location several times before and loved it! Unfortunately, I was very disappointed when I came to this one. We came on a Monday morning around 9:30-10:00 and the service was slow. Every waitress I saw seemed to be super annoyed and our own waitress did not provide good service at all. Maybe it was just a case of the Mondays? I got the breakfast burrito and was really looking forward to it (I alway get it at the Louisville location and love it), but unfortunately the food was just as disappointing as the service. I'm not exactly sure what was going on with the avocado on top of the burrito, but it tasted so bad I had to scrape it off (which I was super bummed about!) We came here the morning after running the Carmel Marathon and the breakfast did not disappoint! Our server, Raven, was amazing. Service with a smile and had me laughing so hard I was crying! She recommended the Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict to a few people in our group and they loved it! I enjoyed the Nashville Hot Chicken and Waffle, which had great spice and flavor. What a bummer! Not impressed. Don't throw tomatoes at me, but here's why I can't say I'm jumping onto the Wild Eggs bandwagon like all y'all: -It's typical breastfast/brunch fare down to the very bones. The coffee bar is on the overpriced and sloppy side. Consistency is key. If I wanted to have pancakes, GOOD coffee, or your typical farmhouse platter I'd rather tip over HALF of our bill for a locally owned brunch-esque experience. Whatcha-ma-callit - the "Undertow" was literally $4 in a 1 oz. shot glass and it wasn't mind-blowing orgasmically good. The sis was feelin' adventurous with "Smoky Chipotle Latte". It wasn't one bit smoky, rather it was flippin' spicy with pepper flakes floating in there with orange zest stuck to the side of the cup! Luckily the "Cafe Miel" was decent - no fancy latte art or cinnamon nicely sprinkled on there making it Instagram worthy. A little on the lukewarm side (water comes from a heated tank dispenser...yep I saw it all where we were seated) and too sweet for my taste like liquid sugar vs. miel. Every table got a pitcher of water....now where was ours? It never showed up and our server literally checked on us ONCE. -I definitely didn't say Oh My! when the lemon curd and raspberry Frank's cake came out. Fluffy like pillows, but the raspberry sauce didn't have any raspberry chunks in it making me think it was ladled from a premade container. Now, the benedicts were on the better side. Poached egg still runny and hollaindase wasn't the texture of plastic-like Velveeta cheese when it cools. You know what that's like right? Otherwise, soggy breakfast potatoes and sis got the short end of the straw again. They didn't give her an everything muffin like what the menu states. -Hoping the waitress would lead us to the booth by the wall, we were seated at a table right next to the swinging kitchen doors and beverage prep area. They need some sort of divider or wall 'cause the constant in-and-out of the servers got on my very last nerves! I did, however, find the white cloth napkins made it a little more fancy-smanshy. I thought the large dining area and wall paint was pretty plain jane. Maybe we just had an off-day, but I'd probably not be likely to revisit. Let me start by saying I love breakfast and brunch places. That being said, I went here twice and it was just "middle of the road" for trying to be a higher end breakfast place. They do offer a variety of coffee and alcoholic beverages but I just stuck to regular coffee so I can't speak on that. It was all good but that's all it was. This place really surprised me. Fantastic food, great staff. We came in with a 2 & 4 year old who were crazy we were stressed, our server took care of us quick got the kids their food and took our order and had it made to our requests. The food was fantastic. We're both vegetarians and they were able to modify our menu choices. This is definitely my new favorite breakfast spot in the Indy area. The eggs florentine and the Breakfast burrito were top notch. Great breakfast option if you are fine with waiting because of the popularity during any peak time in weekend. Pricing is pretty normal for the area and if they are that busy more power to them. Finally! A brunch restaurant in Indy that makes omelettes the right way. This may sound particularly picky but I love that all of the ingredients are folded into the egg mix. Not to name any names, but other cafes seem to think that making an egg omelette and then adding the filling when it's all cooked is the right way to go. I couldn't disagree more! Anyways, eating at Wild Egg is a worthwhile stop. I got the Western omelette with two sides: everything muffin and skillet potatoes. The omelette was tasty with pico de gallo and jalapeños. For an extra punch, I added a splash of Cholula. Now I've never had an everything muffin but I would highly, highly recommend! It's shaped like a muffin but has the consistency of a fluffy biscuit. Lastly the service is great! The restaurant was extremely busy, but our waitress made sure to welcome us warmly and promise to be back shortly for drinks. We found this place to be highly overrated. I was excited by the diversity of the menu, but found the execution to be poor. The poached eggs were slightly underdone which, when they have poached eggs on half of the menu items, seems rather unfathomable that they don't have that process down. Skillet potatoes were decent, but nothing special. Don't really understand the savory "everything muffin". Coffee was extremely weak and watery. We met friends at 1pm for brunch. We were hoping to miss the crowds, but it was still a 35 minute wait, which is expected for a new place. They had free coffee for those waiting, but it was empty and never got refilled. It was pretty crowded. We got a table at 1:50. Our 5 top was done eating, but had started talking to the people behind them for 20 minutes. I am serious. Not the restaurants fault at all, but wow so not cool. This also prevented the 2nd table from ordering till we after we did. So many people were still waiting to be seated too. We all pretty much knew what we wanted, but they were out of the cinnamon rolls so I was super super sad since I have been wanting to try them for weeks if not months. So I felt like I needed to change my order so we took a few minutes to decide what I wanted. I wanted the Crabby Patty Bennie, but now wanted something sweet. We had planned to share an order of the rolls or 2. It all I could think about on our 50 minute wait. I went with the Raspberries and Lemons pancakes and they were pretty good. I think they could have used some more of the lemon curd and maybe a side of meat? A slice or 2 of bacon would have been good for the price. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. Our just overall experience needed work. Maybe because it had been so busy, we were the almost last to be seated, but our waitress still seemed kind of frazzled. Our water glasses were HOT like right out of the dishwater, so our ice water was warm. She brought us another ice water pitcher, but might want to not bring hot glasses to the table. My friend also looked under her plate and we were all like what are you doing, but she said when she was handed the plate it felt like there was something on it and sure enough her plate just hadn't come out of the dishwasher completely clean on the under side. So then we all had to look. The rest looked better, but weren't 100% clean... Everyone dug in eating anyway since we were all starving at this point. I think they could use more seats for those waiting. Maybe the paper to read and keep the coffee filled. Do a better job with the clean dishes. I didn't think it was decorated very well either. The counter was cool, weird where it was, but cool looking with the stool. Not sure if that was open seating or not. The waiters all seemed to hang out there too. It looked kind of weird in that area, like it was last minute put there. I do want to go back to try a cinnamon roll. I guess we need to go earlier our waitress said. So we will be back to give it another shot at some point when the corwds die down. read more

Such a great new place! The staff was friendly and well trained, the food was wonderful, and the environment was so pleasant. It is so different from all the other breakfast places in the area, it really stands out! The menu has a wide range of delicious food, a full espresso bar, and some truly magnificent cinnamon rolls! Seriously those cinnamon rolls were to die for! The grits were perfect, the eggs Bennie was great, I could go on an on. I love that they keep a pitcher of water of coffee on the table, for those who are always needing a refill it was very much appreciated! We had Angel as our waitress and she was a treat and the hostess Kasey was so sweet, helping us accommodate our large group. I have never been to a restaurant with a more friendly staff. I've heard really good things about this place, so was excited to try it. A group of 6 of us went around 10:30, and was told it would be a 45-50 minute wait. Fortunately, it was closer to 30 minutes. Deciding on what to order is almost impossible. Everything sounds SO good. I finally decided on Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict, and man, am I glad I did! It was delicious. I was a little hesitant about the cheddar corn cakes, but I loved the flavor of them. Between the yolk of the eggs and the queso fundido, there's a creaminess that mixes with the corn cakes to provide the PERFECT bite. I added Cholula for some extra spice as well on mine. It includes skillet potatoes and an everything muffin as well. The potatoes were very good, but by the time I got around to the muffin, I was stuffed. The muffin was actually very good but compared to everything else on the plate, it's more of an afterthought. The only thing that could have been better was a Mimosa to go along with my meal, but they have another week until they get their liquor license. This will be a place that I frequent. After seeing what all my friends got, I'm eager to go back and try them as well. I'm confident this place will do very well in Carmel! read more

Most superb breakfast I've ever had!!! We split the breakfast burrito because it's so big which had the most delicious flavors. We had side of hashbrown casserole which was better than Crackel Barrel!!!! The pancake was light and fluffy. The coffee was excellent and the fresh orange juice was phenomenal. We have liked eating at Wild Eggs in Louisville so we decided to give the Carmel location a try. We were celebrating our twins birthday and the waitress brought a delicious cinnamon roll to start off the celebration. We had a party of six and our waitress was very, very good. She was friendly and attentive throughout our entire visit. I had the Veggie Bennie with the hollandaise sauce on the side with a blueberry muffin. The eggs were cooked perfectly and everything we ordered was brought out hot. The blueberry muffin was absolutely delicious. I look forward to trying the Everything Muffin the next time I go. Exceptional experience. This place hasn't been open very long, and people are crowding in to give it a try! The lobby was pretty full when we arrived. We were expecting a party of 7 so we put our name in and were given a 15-20 minute wait time estimate. It was probably about 25 minutes before we sat down, which was still faster than I expected. We sat and began to go over the menu. There were about a million different things I wanted to try, so I can't wait to go back again. We were told about the coffee off the day, a key lime coffee. Naturally intrigued, I had to order it. It was really a normal nutty brew topped with whipped cream and a lime twist, but was good nonetheless. For my meal I tried the potato head casserole. Hash browns with onions, held together by sour cream. Topped with a queso sauce, mushrooms, breakfast sausage, peppers, and an egg your way. I substituted chorizo, which was a great choice. You know any type of casserole in a restaurant will be totally pre-made and basically just heated up to order, but this was still delicious. Well done. I would highly recommend giving it a try. Got to spend the rest of my day smelling like a brewery because I live in Bloomington and didn't have the option to go home and change. Manager was nowhere to be found. I brought in a group of 11 people that had tabs, on average, of $15 a piece and they couldn't manage to give me a $2 mimosa as an apology, or not charge me for my food for that matter. Pretty pathetic service. Needless to say I won't be coming back. Neither will anyone in my party of 11. Wont be recommending Wild Eggs to anyone that will be in the Carmel area. When we came, it was VERY busy. There was a thirty minute wait time. But we thought, if everyone is willing to wait so long it must be good right? We made the right choice- breakfast was amazing. I got the surfer girl omelette and a side of bacon. They were great about my spice allergy and seem to know exactly what goes into their food. They also replaced the everything muffin with a fresh fruit bowl at no up charge which I appreciated. My boyfriend got a giant breakfast burrito. It was A LOT of food, but he horked it down quickly and said it was delicious. He also got a side of French toast and loved it. His dad got chicken and waffles. Normally it's hard to get him to compliment anything, but he loved it. The chicken to waffle ration was a little low but otherwise tasted good. Finally, his mother got Kalamity Katie's border Benedict. Again it was a lot of food but she loved it. Her and I also got mimosas that were pretty good but I don't think I would order again. I really enjoyed it and it had the right about of heat with the buffalo ranch sauce drizzled on top. The food gets the 3 stars. The service gets no stars. Our server acted very annoyed and unfriendly the entire time. The interaction was strange and I felt like because I was sitting at her table that I was an inconvenience for her. We try to go before 8:30 to play it safe. Only small downside is the seating, if you don't have a booth or an outer table you are stuck in the middle of everything. They do offer a first come first serve counter to sit at if you don't want to wait or are dining alone and don't want a table for four. read more
