I am a steak lover. I bought some expensive USDA Prime Steaks from a discount supermarket. They were terrible. $18 a piece and they were dry, fatty but not marbled fat. I looked around for a better steak source and I came across Wild Fork. I ordered 2 Prime Strip Steaks and they were wonderful. Flavorful, tender, and delicious. And, they were the same price as the yuk I bought from the other place. I have found my food source. The best thing is I don't drive, am pretty old and they deliver. I would have been happy to pay the additional cost. I was skeptical about buying the lobster claws for Christmas, because I read some negative reviews, but I took my chances. Everyone liked them a lot. I bought 8lbs of them as a side for Christmas Eve. The claws are already cooked, so you only need to boil or steam them for a few minutes. If you over cook them at all, they will become tough or mushy. I boiled them for 3 minutes and they were perfect. I added some salt,white wine, bay leaves and other spices in the water. I then melted some garlic herb butter with a little fresh squeezed lemon and it was delicious. I would definately buy them again,and they were affordable. 5 Stars a place to buy meat and seafood and a missing star for their absolutely terrible excuse for a parking lot. I'm pretty sure you can only enter driving south on Orlando Ave (just after Fairbanks) and when you're done, your stuck going East on Fairbanks as it's a 1-way parking lot. **NOTE: Someone moved this to Chicago, but this is the location in Winter Park, FL as you can see by the other reviews and the one I checked in to. Ok, now that that is out of the way, the store is clean, organized, and easy to shop. Their freezers are cool, literally and figuratively. Prices are OK and I'm sure you can find sales at other stores on similar items. They do have some items you may not find as well, so if you feel like getting annoyed with parking and exiting parking, stop in a browse. I bought some scallop skewers and when thawing them, they were a bit watery and a tad fishy, They cooked up nicely and tasted good. This store sells anything that might be in your freezer. It is not just protein -- meat and fish but all kinds of food such as herbs, sauces, veggies and desserts. Sure the attraction is the different kinds of meat and fish that are featured in the cases. Marinated meats and entrees as well. High end meats and a plethora of sausage. We stopped by to check it out on a weekday and the lot was empty. They were just concluding inventory. They had a lot of different veggies and gourmet sauces. So that means you could stop by and pick up a complete meal. Everything is frozen except for spices offered to season your food. We picked up fire roasted corn and a lemony sauce to compliment a planned chicken dinner. I was not heading straight home or so would have stocked my freezer. Interesting is their year of free shipping for $29. I enjoyed walking around and discovering all the selections. They also have a Doctor Phillips location that is closer to my home. read more

Wild Fork has opened a location in Winter Park at the intersection of Orlando Avenue and Fairbanks Avenue. Let me just add, it is a nightmare to get out of this little store. Parking is also rather limited. However, they truly have a very good selection of meat inside. Be warned that it is all Frozen, however, it is a great selection of great quality meats. If you are looking for wagyu, they have it. Berkshire pork, no problem. And for the quality of what you are getting, it is a very good price point. I would definitely recommend a visit here. read more

First off the Lemon/Turmeric marinated chicken at Wild Fork is amazing and I will continue to buy. But this review is for the cashier girl I had today. She was so sweet and made my experience which was already good even better. While driving around downtown Chicago one day, I stumbled across Wild Fork. I noticed it was a grocery store and decided to check it out. Super happy that I did! Wild Fork carries a wide range of meat, seafood, and other pre-prepped meals. The wide variety is a breath of fresh air since, sometimes, finding specialty meat can be a hassle. The prices are fair compared to other grocery stores, and it can be expected to pay a slightly higher price for good quality. They also offer a membership, which, if it were a location I could go to weekly, I would have invested in that as well. read more

Wild Fork is now my preferred place to buy meat! The store may look small when you drive up, but there are a TON of options there. Amazing steak cuts (Black Angus, Aged, Prime, Miyazaki A5 Wagyu, etc), prepped cuts of chicken, game (rabbit, alligator, etc), duck, seafood, etc. Go see what you find! In addition to meat, they also have frozen fruits, veggies, sides, and meals. The prices? Pretty outstanding! Much higher quality than all the grocery stores in the area and the prices are either in line or cheaper. Parking is limited, but I've never gone and not be able to find a spot. The only downside? Getting out of the parking lot. For that I took away one star. They really should have built a back exit to the side street. It's so difficult to get out so close to the light in the busy area. read more

Popped in here looking for a whole chicken for thanksgiving. We were greeted by friendly staff, who were eager to show us around. They have a variety of frozen seafood and meat, as well as desserts and sides throughout the store. On top of the chicken, we ended up also buying some truffle bratwurst, chuck short rib, and mushroom risotto bites all for $45! I was expecting to pay much more, but prices are reasonable. Wild fork has been open for several months now and I finally made the trip to check it out. With the help of the educated customer service, I bought salmon in a bag with 4 servings, (dont remember the kind though as they have many different types), I also purchased a bag of scallops, bag of clams and a shrimp iced tray. So far we've been VERY pleasantly surprised after having the scallops last night, and the salmon and shrimp last friday. My guests loved the salmon and shrimp, (we did too). My hubby and I loved the scallops. Absolutely DEEELISSHH . Will definitely be back to wild fork and this is where I will be buying all my fish from hence forth. If you haven't been there yet, please do so. They also have frozen meats (chicken, beef, etc), frozen plant foods for those who dont eat meat or fish and frozen fruit. read more

Me and my huscand have been a loyal customers and early adopter of WF, recommending the place to TONS of friends. However, they dropped the ball here. The manager decided to allow dogs INSIDE. I don't care how woke you try to be, but this is a food establishment. Furthermore, there are kids and people who can be allergic. I will not be going back until I see a sign on the door saying NO PETS ALLOWED and it's in fact enforced. Next time I see a pet I'm reporting it to the FDA. read more

He was knowledgeable about how much meat per person we should have, and what other pairings would work. Went to the store front the next day they told me I was SOL because it was a third-party vendor who delivers the food. Called the third-party vendor who delivered the food and was told I need to address this with wild Fork... Huge cluster long story short I'm out $45 and never got any food this place sucks 1000% zero stars. read more
