Exterior has an odd parking lot

5 Stars a place to buy meat and seafood and a missing star for their absolutely terrible excuse for a parking lot. I'm pretty sure you can only enter driving south on Orlando Ave (just after Fairbanks) and when you're done, your stuck going East on Fairbanks as it's a 1-way parking lot. **NOTE: Someone moved this to Chicago, but this is the location in Winter Park, FL as you can see by the other reviews and the one I checked in to. Ok, now that that is out of the way, the store is clean, organized, and easy to shop. Their freezers are cool, literally and figuratively. Prices are OK and I'm sure you can find sales at other stores on similar items. They do have some items you may not find as well, so if you feel like getting annoyed with parking and exiting parking, stop in a browse. I bought some scallop skewers and when thawing them, they were a bit watery and a tad fishy, They cooked up nicely and tasted good. I may or may not go back depending on what I'm looking for and what I can find at other stores. It's all frozen and some things I like to buy just refrigerated.

This store sells anything that might be in your freezer. It is not just protein -- meat and fish but all kinds of food such as herbs, sauces, veggies and desserts. Sure the attraction is the different kinds of meat and fish that are featured in the cases. Marinated meats and entrees as well. High end meats and a plethora of sausage. We stopped by to check it out on a weekday and the lot was empty. They were just concluding inventory. They had a lot of different veggies and gourmet sauces. So that means you could stop by and pick up a complete meal. Everything is frozen except for spices offered to season your food. We picked up fire roasted corn and a lemony sauce to compliment a planned chicken dinner. I was not heading straight home or so would have stocked my freezer. Interesting is their year of free shipping for $29. I enjoyed walking around and discovering all the selections. They also have a Doctor Phillips location that is closer to my home.

Wild Fork has opened a location in Winter Park at the intersection of Orlando Avenue and Fairbanks Avenue. Let me just add, it is a nightmare to get out of this little store. Parking is also rather limited. However, they truly have a very good selection of meat inside. Be warned that it is all Frozen, however, it is a great selection of great quality meats. If you are looking for wagyu, they have it. Berkshire pork, no problem. And for the quality of what you are getting, it is a very good price point. I would definitely recommend a visit here.

While driving around downtown Chicago one day, I stumbled across Wild Fork. I noticed it was a grocery store and decided to check it out. Super happy that I did! Wild Fork carries a wide range of meat, seafood, and other pre-prepped meals. The wide variety is a breath of fresh air since, sometimes, finding specialty meat can be a hassle. The prices are fair compared to other grocery stores, and it can be expected to pay a slightly higher price for good quality. They also offer a membership, which, if it were a location I could go to weekly, I would have invested in that as well.

Popped in here looking for a whole chicken for thanksgiving. We were greeted by friendly staff, who were eager to show us around. They have a variety of frozen seafood and meat, as well as desserts and sides throughout the store. On top of the chicken, we ended up also buying some truffle bratwurst, chuck short rib, and mushroom risotto bites all for $45! I was expecting to pay much more, but prices are reasonable. Looking forward to coming here more often!

I finally gave this place a chance. The parking sucks but the prices dont! The staff was very nice and knowledgable. You dont need a membership card to shop. They also have scanners to check prices and you can order online and do instore pick up! The food i purchased came out great!!!

When it first opened, it was great to see how bright and clean it was and to see all of the incredible stacked foods and items. However, over the years it's definitely been worn down a little bit and could use a new refresh. What has been good is that they really expanded some of the seating area as well as the seafood city Grill area and the food offerings. However even this is slightly inconsistent as far as what's available when it's open, etc. It's also great that this particular location also is able to build out some of the other additional vendors like the bakery by Valerio. Again, though, I wish there was a little bit more consistency and organization throughout. Parking lot is has been quite ample except during peak times. I really wish they would open one in the suburbs as well. The only major disappointing thing was I used to carry the best Chicharron by Saint Michaels and then they absolutely abused and price gouged the bags. And eventually they stopped carrying it. I however, have gone directly to the stores to purchase.

Well, this is an update to the review I made 4 years ago. Today was a better experience all around…read more We arrived around 2pm and it was not crowded at all. They added an enclosed outdoor seating area, Thats lets you enjoy the breeze or sun, but protects you from the rain. It used to be a tent, so this is definitely nicer. My wife and I were seated immediately. The server quickly brought us water and garlic bread. I really like that they give you 5 fairly big pieces of garlic bread for only two people. Nice touch. We were not in a hurry and couldn't decide what we wanted so we started with the calamari salad. $29, but it's huge and chock full of those calamari guys. Lettuce is always crisp and has everything I like in it (olives, eggs, carrots, artichoke, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and romaine lettuce). We were almost full just from the salad alone. I ordered a grouper sandwich (not fried), and my lovely wife ordered the Scottish salmon plate, which comes with potatoes and grilled vegetables. My sandwich came with coleslaw and fresh cut fries. They switched to fresh cut since my last visit, and this was an upgrade. My sandwich was great, and huge too. Could not finish it. Wife's meal was a humongous slab of salmon. The veggies now come on a smaller plate, but that's okay, given the size of the fish. Service was a tad slow, but like I said, we weren't in any hurry. Total tab was $100, with tax and that pesky 3% service fee. I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. It's not a place I can go every week, but when I can splurge, and have a taste for fresh seafood, this is the best around.

We were seated promptly in the formal dining room which was nicely decorated. Our semi-circular booth was spacious and comfortable. There were different sections in the restaurant that were more casual, tailored to the different tastes of the clients. Overall, food was delicious and portions were huge. I had a Boston Clam Chowder and a Gulf Grouper as the main. I would usually order a salad, but I didn't this time as each entrée came with a large plate of homemade roasted vegetables and wild rice. The Boston Clam Chowder had real pieces of clams in it. However, it was just lukewarm. My grouper looked great and tasted flavorful, but it was somewhat over-cooked (and therefore not tender), which was unfortunate. My wife had a bowl of Lobster Bisque and an order of Stuffed Flounder that had crabmeat sandwiched in the fish. She absolutely loved her choices. Our daughter had a Charbroiled Walleye and liked it too. Her only disappointment was the garlic bread being hard and dry. Our daughter and I each had a Chardonnay Stags Leap which was good, while my wife had a Virgin Mojito and truly enjoyed it. Surprisingly, the highlight of the night was the slice of tiramisu that our friendly and professional server Greg brought to me! It had a lit candle for my birthday, and Greg teamed up with two other waitresses enthusiastically sang me a happy birthday song! The tiramisu was excellent, creamy and not too sweet. I am not a dessert person but really appreciated this. I have a suggestion for the restaurant: as the portions were so large and each of us brought home half of it, it would have been nice that they make the portion 40% to 50% smaller, and lower the average price of $40 per entrée accordingly. It might help attract more customers. Just my two cents. All in all, I had a lovely birthday dinner at Boston Fish Market. Ambience was good, and service was outstanding. We will certainly return again.

My ahi tuna was a tiny overcooked and kinda fishy. Portion was a lot of vegetables which were fine. My husband had halibut which was good, but only a couple pieces of asparagus.
