I had the steak teriyaki while my wife and friends had cashew chicken, mango chicken and 2 sushi rolls (dragon roll & classic roll). All was throughly enjoyed after Miso soup, salads, edamame, spring roll (not recommended as it was mostly lettuce) and egg roll. Friends are local and will be back. read more

We went here with a bunch of friends. The place is like PF Chang's on acid. Lots of neon lights and cool tropical fish tanks. It's kinda got a Miami feel. The food is quite good. However, the service is horrendous. I recommend going. But do take out until they get their service in order. read more

Great and fresh food! The portions are huge and sushi is delicious. The spicy tuna rolls can't be beat. The service is hit or miss though. One thing for sure is that you are going to be waiting some time for your food, but if you're with the right people it really doesn't matter. I've gone here over ten times and never once has the food let me down, it's always delicious. The service is a little slow and when it is their peak time the poor waiters are run down. If you're gonna go I recommend going during lunch time because they have an unbeatable lunch special, and the restaurant is mostly empty so service won't be as bad. read more

Two stars just because of what it used to be. Tonight, zero stars, not because the food wasn't good - it was fine - but because it took almost 2 hours to have my order ready. I get it, they're short-staffed. But here's the thing about customer service. If an order is going to be ready an hour after it was promised, (1) Say so in advance, give an accurate time and then beat that time; (2) say you're sorry, more than once, sound like you mean it; (3) offer something - a few bucks off, an extra appetizer, something. But no. The kids bringing out the food were nice enough, but they were rattled by all the impatient customers, who were all waiting far too long. I wanted to send this note to the owner/manager, but there's no obvious way to do that. So we won't be going back, at least not until they have dine-in service again, if they ever do. Too bad. And the only other local option, Panda Bistro in Lambertville, is closed because of the Ida flood. No more Chinese food. It really is too bad. read more

I have been going here for years. It was always hit or miss for me. But this past visit was just disappointing and frustrating. We were seated in the side room. I cannot remember our waitresses name. We got our waters, placed a sushi order and an entree for after the sushi. We waited 45 mins for 3 rolls. Never were checked on by our waitress, water glasses empty. We considered leaving since I was seeing people getting food. Finally the rolls arrived and she said sorry for the wait and walked away with no soy sauce. We had to track her down to get our waters refilled and a soy sauce container. Sushi was tasty. Then we got our main meal. Which was cold. At this point we were hungry and didn't want to complain so we just ate it. Then, I chomped down on a shrimp tail...we had szcheuan beef. Thankfully I am not allergic but I was definitely just grossed out and done with it. When I pointed it out we were given $3 off the bill. I feel like we should've been shown more consideration than that. So unfortunately I will be crossing them off the list of restaurants which is disappointing. read more

It was extremely busy but the staff were all very calm and my server (I think his name was paul) treated me like I was the only table in the restaurant! The decor is beautiful as well! I love oriental fried rice recently I ordered their shrimp fried rice. Their portions are generous and their shrimp are always top notch and large. Sometimes the rice is more like steamed verses fried but my last order was the best. I am happy they opened. read more

This is a really good place to get decent take out. They have a large menu with something to please almost anyone. With that being said, In-house dining is very hit and miss. Today I was sat next to a fishless, merky fish tank that was so filthy it was comical. Not exactly what I wanted to see before eating sushi. The bizarre part was the place was completely empty, so being sat there almost seemed like a sick joke. After that the only waiter left to borrow straws from the restaurant next door.... Later he brought us appetizers with no plates... Then sushi with no soy sauce... And never refilled our drinks... And we could never find him to get any of this fixed. Came here the other night with my mother and we both really enjoyed it. The restaurant is beautiful inside with the lights and fish tanks. The menu is huge and has a variety of options from sushi, to chinese, to japanese. We each order sushi and were very happy with our choices! We only got the basic salmon, tuna or vegetable rolls (i know were not real sushi eaters) but it tasted very fresh. The only down side was the service. Our waiter Kevin was very friendly which is the only reason we werent totally annoyed waiting 20 minutes just for our soup and salad. But then again, it was a wednesday night and the place was packed which we werent expecting. Overall it was a good experience and we'll definitely be back. One more thing, they had a huge dessert menu which we were surprised by. Most sushi places just have ice cream, they had at least 10 dessert options, unfortunately we were too full after our dinner to try any. read more

My husband and I decided to try this place a few nights ago for dinner. We usually go to Ota-ya but we wanted to try a new sushi venue. When we walked in there was no one to greet us, we waited for 10 minutes before someone greeted us. Once we were seated we waited another 15 minutes before our waiter Paul greeted us. We asked what he would suggest on the menu and he simply said "I don't know, whatever you want." We ordered a few egg rolls, a pot of green tea and some sushi. Paul brought us water 10 minutes after we ordered and never brought our pot of green tea, despite us asking for it twice. The egg rolls were ok, and the sushi was fine. It was not nearly as good as Ota-ya. Paul did not visit our table again since we got water, we had to flag down another waiter just to get our check and clear our plates. We told the other waiter how awful the service was and he said he would send the manger out immediately. The manager never came. Instead of enjoying our night, we came away frustrated, angry and very disappointed. We will not be returning and definitely sticking to our usual spot. read more

Consistently good food, well prepared, fresh and reasonable prices, especially the lunch specials. You have a selection of Thai, Japanese or Chinese to choose from. The Chinese dishes are never greasy and always well prepared. A main staple for us with friends and even on some holidays. Ample parking...I would recommend it. read more

As a local, and someone who has been here numerous times with little impression, my most recent visit had me very pleasantly surprised. Their food has always been good - great variety and some authentic mixed in with the Americanized - but up until now, they've been really slow service wise. This place has been opened a month and I thought I would give it some time to get up to speed. We went on a Wednesday evening, and were seated promptly. The service is ok, not great, but not bad. The menu is extensive, but I find that some Asian places that try to do 3 cuisines can struggle with making them all good. We had sushi as a appetizer as we are picky about sushi and most places are not good. Their sushi was actually good, and nice sized pieces too. Tempura was good as well. We ordered General TSao's Chicken and Sesame chicken- which was just the same dish- but the sesame chicken had sesame seeds on it. That was disappointing, but the food was actually good. If you are looking for anything close to authentic Chinese food you will not get it here. Every dish tastes remarkably the same with a disproportionate amount of vegetable filler. Even staples like dumplings or fried rice are almost unrecognizable. I've tasted 8 different dishes and none would be worth ordering again. We did take out. The food was delicious. However we called two times and they lost our order both times. They blamed it on the number being close to another location's number. However, the second phone call we confirmed that it was Logan Square and they confirmed that it was, and they still "lost" the order.
