Delicious fresh sushi. Generals chicken very tangy and spicy. Vacation recommendation.

I've been curious about Wild Ginger ever since it opened not too long ago. Today I was in the mood for sushi, so here we go! Looks like a nice, clean establishment. They really need to remove the logos of the previous restaurant from the booth seats, though. I went during lunch, so I decided on the sushi/sashimi lunch special with miso soup. Miso was quite tasty and the quality of the sushi/sashimi was quite nice. The staff all seem to be in good spirits so this was definitely a winner! Next time I may try the Poke Bowl! read more

The food was pretty good. The portions were huge! If you are very hungry come here. The entrees were huge. My favorite was the Brussels sprouts appetizer but all the appetizers were good. Hard to know where to rate this place. I'm out of practice on Yelp, The portion sizes amazed me. All the food was fine, no complaints. Nothing was wrong and nothing was spectacular. We went with a group of 8 friends and had a nice time there. We shared a bunch of appetizers then each got an entree. It was all fine. read more

My husband and I are locals and we usually sit at the bar. The service is consistently great. Friendly, efficient and it's always a fun experience. The sushi is delicious and fresh. The ramen is the best in the area by far! Would highly recommend this place to everyone! read more

Don't order The Tonkotso Ramen , it's just the 99cebt ramen you can buy from Walmart and some broth with no veggies either . If you have eaten any REAL Ramen you will be very disappointed with it. read more

This is new to this town but not new to me. Food was tasty and came out fresh and hot. The young man that served us was so polite and made sure we was ok and didn't need or want anything. The place is good to come to and sit eat and listen to music and/or watch the televisions that's there. read more

Everything was above expectations as far as ambience service and food quality. We got it to go and we got home. We had a clear soup instead of miso and no fried rice. I think this is a small oversight and I would definitely try them again. read more

The service is quick and efficient - the server appears at the table with a tablet on which orders are recorded. The meals we ordered were in the $25 range. The soup and salad courses appeared in a few minutes. The soup was hot; the lettuce only salad had a tasty dressing - the vegetable had about 1/4 cup of water in the bowl. The water made it hard to eat neatly. The dinners my friend and I ordered were both generous and delicious although the medium and medium rare meat were both well done. Fortunately, each meat remained tender. The green tea came quickly but was lukewarm and weak. We were offered more tea about 1/2 way through our meal; we agreed but it never came. I had the vegetable fried rice and chicken ramen - definitely more than I could eat but that was okay because they packed it for me to take home and I ate it the next night. Both the fried rice and the ramen were incredible. They have a limited wine menu but the wine that was on it was very good. Service was the best I have had in Palm Coast. Wild Ginger is new to Palm Coast, but it is a chain. Nonetheless, it was pretty good. Phoenix rule and girly girl role were great. I hope as they grow in the community they will be able to change over the decor in this restaurant, which still reads the crabhouse. One of the worst places I've ever eaten at. The service was so bad we had to get up and ask someone to serve us. When food finally came it tasted like grocery store frozen food. However, they did give us a 10% discount for the bad service. ....They should have given us a 100% discount for the bad food. read more

I found Red Crab 2 weeks before they closed and became Wild Ginger. I used to order the New England Clam Chowder. It was very very good. But with the name change the chowder changed. Not so good. Being from New England, I and my parents know chowder. This new one leaves much to be desired. Wild Ginger Management please bring back the chowder you had and I will be back. read more

so upset. just had the worst experience. my family and I eat here regularly. I looked at my Credit Card and I have spent over 400.00in the past month but I will never go back. there is a young man that works there. he is usually very quick but tonight he was incredibly rude. Even the manager admitted he is rude. she apologized but said they were busy. I showed her that more than half the tables were empty. with that kind of service it's no wonder. Server was really sweet, we went and wanted to try a couple things on the menu to see if it was all good and it was AMAZING. We ordered the Mongolian beef and scallions, 3 sushi rolls and the steak kimchi ramen. Went there for evening dinner at 9:00 they close at 10:00, but they insist on mopping the floor around the customers with water and tons of bleach that is so strong your eyes water and males it very hard to eat your food. Ordered the sweet and sour chicken on the menu it says it comes with green peppers red peppers onions, it came out as just a bowl of chicken deep fried and a little bowl of sweet and sour sauce with nothing in it only one little tiny piece of green pepper and half a pineapple it was like ordering from a fast food chinnese place which would have been way better, asked for some vegetables and more pineapple they brought another bowl out of sauce with three pieces of pineapple no vegetables sent it back to the kitchen said I did not want it was not good. Got our bill asked to see a manager to get it taken off the bill and was told by the server that the manager had left and there was nothing they could do about it asked why there was no manager on duty and he said "dont snap at me I'm only the messenger". I would not recommend this place at night after 5:00 they seem to be rushing to close the restaurant, cleaning all around you with heavy chemicals and rushing the food! read more

I ordered from here twice. While the food had decent flavor, I did have a pretty bad stomach ache both times after eating it. I do not have a sensitive stomach at all, so this is abnormal for me. What I definitely don't recommend is the crab rangoon. Disappointing. I liked this place enough to give it another try, but I think I'll pass moving forward. read more

This was our first time going here and we were really excited about having a sushi restaurant in town. Not anything that we expected!! First, the restaurant used to be Red Crab Juicy Seafood... they didn't even bother to change the decor let alone leaving the other restaurants name on everything!! Second, the tables had napkin boxes on them. I thought I was going to a sushi restaurant not a greasy burger joint. If you are going out to eat and spend about $80-100 for a meal they should at least have real napkins. Now to the staff. Luckily I called for a reservation. Thanks for that because we were greeted with "We are really busy so there is a long wait...". There was one couple waiting and about 15 open tables. Upon walking in there was a busboy with a very large rolling plastic cart that made us move out of the way while he pushed by us. This caused me to hit a gentleman who was sitting behind me. Not good!! Our server was pleasant but definitely not happy to be working that night. We ordered a bottle of wine off the menu and some water. She came back to the table 5 minutes later with an opened bottle of something we didn't order and said that's all they had and walked away! You can't make this stuff up!! We had to pour our own glasses too. While waiting to order the table next to us had to go up to the front and get to-go boxes because they were tired of waiting while our waitress was gabbing with her friends that came for dinner. Finally to the food. We ordered Krab Rangoon for an appetizer. After about 10 minutes she came to the table with the appetizer, our soup and salad and our entrees all at once. She said well everything was ready so here you go. I will tell you that we were really excited to go out for a nice sushi date night and that did not happen. My wife's roll was bland though it was big. I got one of their combo meals. Mine looked great but smelled like fish. Sushi never has a smell so I was shocked. I always finish my plate and this one I could not due to being afraid I was going to get ill. The waitress returned to the table and didn't even ask how our meal was and just picked up our plates. She didn't even ask if we wanted to take home the uneaten portions. On top of that she handed me a tablet to sign. Guess what?? It already had a 20% tip put on it without me doing it! Wow, just Wow!!
