My fiancé and I love Wild Ginger. We've tried their sushi, hibachi, and snow crabs and they have all been great! This is their lunch special which is $16 for three rolls and a soup and was so filling to share! It's always clean inside with a cozy ambiance, and the service is always fast and friendly.

Hubby and I decided to have a 'special' lunch for our special day. This is our first time and wanted to check out this relatively new restaurant. Well, so far, it doesn't disappoint! As we entered, we were happily greeted by the hostesses. Our server, Sierra, is so pleasant and attentive! She has gauged the timings between courses perfectly which allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our meals. We chose a selection of appetizers - 1. Corn hush puppies that were lightly fried and contained corn kernels, super delish! 2. Egg rolls were okay and a touch over fried. 3. Crab Rangoon - light and crispy. Surprise filling made with cream and American cheese! So tasty too! 4. Miso Ginger Salad -fresh and savory. We totally enjoyed our entree choices: 1. Seafood Ramen - delicious, tasty, and has a combination of sweet and salty flavors. Great selection if you're an avid ramen eater. 2. Shrimp Pad Thai - good and tasty with no skimping on the shrimp. If extra hot spicy flavor, get hot sauce on the side. 3. Sweet and sour chicken - lightly fried chicken and rice on the side. Tasty and the sweet and sour sauce was unique, in a good way. Overall, we found this restaurant to be family friendly, excellent service, and comfortable surroundings. Give Sierra a shout out when you come to dine! She was awesome!

We don't have this chain by us in NY and I wanted to try it out. I don't think this location was the way to do that. It's in the old Red Crab building and they didn't change ANYTHING. The interior is the same, the seats still have the logo on the backs of them, they're even reusing the napkin dispensers on the tables with the red crab on them. The whole experience of walking in it just weird - I can't really explain it but the vibe is way way off. It's dirty feeling and used, which isn't how you want to feel when eating seafood, especially raw seafood. All that being said, the food itself was pretty good. We only tried the lettuce wraps and had three sushi rolls (I've forgotten the names of them) and all were decent. I just would choose to go to a better sushi restaurant than eat here. Maybe we will try the Daytona location and see if it's better in a newer cleaner location. Props to our server who was very sweet and funny.

Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Clean restaurant and comfortable seating. Our waitress was super sweet with a great sense of humor and checked on us often. There's a few little hiccups such as waiting to be seated and then waiting for someone to take our order. Out of fairness, we did arrive right at opening time of 11:00. It felt like they just weren't ready to start doing business. We started with their special appetizer of Ocean Nest which was absolutely delightful. A nest of fresh mango and cucumber sticks topped with sashimi tuna, salmon, and krab with a savory ponzu style sauce and topped with fresh cilantro. So fresh and balanced. Our mains were from the lunch menu. Mine was Kung Pao Shrimp that was delicious but missing the peanuts. Same situation with my husband's Kung Pao Tofu ... no peanuts. It wasn't a deal breaker as I said, just a few hiccups. Food is savory flavor bombs and when they get more experience this place will be rocking! We will most definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Mee ka thung w/beef and shrimp (upgrade charge $3), banh hoi, 1/2 lb of crispy roast pork, beef sticks, with drinks. Sprite and Vietnamese coffee. Mee ka thung: 0/5 do not recommend. It was bland. No taste. No charring of the noodles. The egg was overly cooked and we added that as an extra. The shrimp and the beef tasted off. It was fishy. Banh Hoi: 1/5 would recommend. Only good thing was the sweet fish sauce it came with. The pork belly was meh. Didn't have flavor. Tasted not fresh. Not crispy. Crispy pork belly: 0/5 do not recommend. The pork belly wasn't crispy. Tasted like they had it out for awhile and basically warmed it up when we ordered. The skin wasn't crispy. It was chewy. No flavor. No nothing. Did not taste fresh. Beef skewers: 0/5 do not recommend. Again, no flavor. No fatty pieces to counter the dryness of the meat. Nothing. The worst part. There were no pickled veggies. If they knew their skewers were dry, they should definitely have pickled veggies to off-balance the dryness. The only 2 good things that were good was the Vietnamese coffee and the fish sauce that came with the banh Hoi. Service was mediocre. Had to grab our own silverware from a near by table. Had to ask for plates. Had to ask for refills for our water. They didnt come around to check on us. We actually to wave them down. I don't live in the area, but even if I did, I wouldn't be back.

The server looked at with a smile and slight confusion. We realized they were not yet open! I felt like a dunce. We offered to come back. She made sure we were comfortable, provided several laughs, and advised that the chef was preparing. The ambiance was so inviting and the overall vibe was great so waiting was not even a concern. We started with the wings. Oh my! They were out of this world. I can only assume (because I didn't ask) that they were soy garlic, and oh so yummy. Extremely tender and moist, with more flavor than any wing should have. My Daughter ordered the chilli oil noodles. They were a medium spice packed with flavor. My finance ordered hot and spicy noodles that didn't hold back. They were as described with the perfect about of heat. She'd felt they would have benefited from a bit of sweetness, but were delicious. I thought they were great. I ordered the mongoose Dan Dan noodles. They were also delicious. The noodles themselves were the star I feel. They had the perfect amount of bounce giving an authenticity I didn't expect. I tried all three dishes and my favorite was the hot and spicy noodles but my daughter gave her leftovers to her boyfriend! I was offended but I survived. We shared a slice of pistachio cake that was truly special. The server told us it was amazing but we didn't expect it to be that good. It was super moist, not overly sweet, and was nothing less than perfect. Totally unexpected. This is a true gem.
