Miso Soup

I'm surprised I've never been here before but we finally got to try it out for dinner last night!!! I was happy that valet parking is free here so we were able to get out for dinner inside easily. The inside was surprising to me compared to the outside. It was decorated well and gave a very classy dinner feel for us. The sushi chefs were set up behind the bar counter and we got seated in one of the tables. The food was also shareables family-size, which I didn't expect!!! We got the lo mein noodles (deliciously thick and sauced nicely) sushi and sashimi combo (so yummy), the perfect Naruto (bunch of fish bites with no rice, wrapped inside a cucumber shell sushi-style), and the grilled salmon dinner (I didn't really like the crust of the bread crumbs on it and it was dry). Server was friendly to us and refilled our waters often. Had a fairly good experience and this is great for group dinners for sure!!!

I had an amazing time at Wild Ginger. The staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very clean and inviting. The food was delicious. Btw, check out their weekend brunch. Its affordable and the portion size is on point.

Ugh, I used to be a regular at Wild Ginger in Great Neck but unfortunately RVC's doesn't compare. Truthfully, I think Masago in Oceanside is better and half the price. Yes, the sushi may be slightly better quality and presented nicer, but the price for it isn't worth it. I'd rather spend half and get something comparably good. The sushi is fine, the walnut chicken and shrimp entree was a bit disappointing. Szechuan dumplings were the best dish.

Food is always fresh, hot and fast! The servers are efficient but can be funny. I've been here numerous times and have never had an issue with the service. We had a birthday dinner for my 82 year old mom in law. They were accommodating and engaging and took care of our cake and balloons and leftovers like bosses Also, I'm loving the decor refresh- looks great

Half eaten Shrimp Tempura Roll

I love eating here. My mom and I came back for lunch. We enjoyed ourselves. It's always clean and they play great music. The food was delicious. I loved my lunch. The garlic sauce was so good and the string beans and shrimp were cooked to perfection! I had the Shanghai Mai Tai. From one bartender to another it was perfect. The service was great. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Our server was really good. We will definitely be back.

I love wild ginger, always a great ambiance and great food. We made reservations but didn't need to announce them, they sat us quickly! They keep a nice music mix playing and lively bar area. The fire wok was amazing, literally came out bubbling but some other things like the appetizers were room temperature and the coconut shrimp I would've liked crispier. I absolutely loved the pacific and mars (sushi) roll and if you like lemon drops ... 10/10

Hot and Sour Soup

This is one of the best Asian restaurants in the area that makes Hot and Sour soup. They've made a few changes to the decor. The staff is not very friendly, it's good to smile and act like you want to serve the customers.

Really good food, fast service. The place is weirdly well decorated, and I like the lights on the tables.

Great lunch special also has vegan options which is amazing. You not forced to starve or not eat nothing but rice if you don't eat meat.

The restaurant is medium sized, lots of booths, and was decorated for Valentine's Day. They take reservations and were pretty busy. Service was good, although a little slow at the beginning. I tried the following dishes: Cauliflower Manchurian (3/5): This dish was pretty good, but not amazing. I did enjoy it. Garlic Chili Noodles (3.5/5): Pretty good noodles, not very spicy but good flavor and consistency. Hakka Chili Chicken (4/5): I liked this chicken, but my dining partner did not. The chicken was boneless dark meat, which I really like. You can get it with no, light, or full gravy. We did full and had it with rice. I did enjoy this dish. Overall, I had a pretty good experience at HAKA. No dishes were real standouts, but they were all decent. It is not a bad option for Indo-Chinese in the area.

The menu has both indian and chinese dishes. It's not fusion just two different cuisines being sold. We ordered a roll that came with shrimp tempura, mango and salmon. It was very good, a warm grill that felt like a sandwich. The side galore noodles we ordered were dry and not very flavourful. We ordered shrimp with then and they came with fried/tempura shrimp, which we found odd. There was also egg on the dish but it did nothing for the noodles. We ordered the noodles regular so they should have had some sauce but there was none. The chicken dishes were both really good. The chicken wasn't overly fried or breaded. It tasted fresh and had a good bite to it. I like the spicy garlic chicken a bit more because of the spice. The haka chicken was more of a sweet and salty flavor. Both were tasty. If I'm in the area I'll come back here.

Medium spice was not spicy at all for us. - Duck curry: a bit small on the portions but the curry is magical. Was scraping this plate clean. - Bo luc lac: star dish for sure. Beef melts on your tongue and the marinade is slightly sweet and smoky. - Summer rolls: small portions but the flavor is there. Super refreshing and special bc they pickle the vegetables inside. - Crispy pork belly: reminds me of the crispy pork I had in Vietnam. Really well done, pairs well with the lettuce and herbs. That green sauce is so addicting. - Papaya salad: super refreshing, nice fish sauce. - Crab fried rice: reminds me of the din tai fung fried rice bc of how clean the flavor is. The noodles did clump together quite a bit though, so it felt like they weren't the most fresh.

I went to this place for few years, but the service is going down to hell. This year January freezing cold, me and my friend went to lunch. servant put us to counter table next to the door with heavy coat and gifts, even thought there were at least 4 tables available. This time I visited Yutaka Ramen with my parents and ordered the fried smelt, but I was served fries instead. When I politely pointed out the mistake, the server insisted that I had ordered fries and made it seem like it was my fault. Eventually, she said in an arrogant tone that she would give me the fries for free, but she later took the fries away from my table, and no one apologized for the mistake. What disappointed me the most was not the wrong order, but the attitude. Mistakes happen, but blaming the customer, refusing to acknowledge the error, and failing to offer a simple apology is unacceptable. My parents witnessed the whole interaction, and it was embarrassing and frustrating. Poor customer service and lack of professionalism.

It's a concept of all you can eat, soup, salad, 2 rolls of your choice, at one time, nigiri, and either ice cream or sherbert. We ordered an appetizer from the main menu, the rangoon, was good. Now lunch was from the special all you can eat menu Monday menu, which is different than the full restaurant menu. There are a couple of special rolls on there. I tried the shrimp tempura roll, which I've never seen shrimp tempura look like a fish stick style, no shrimp tail at all, very odd. The rolls were prepared larger in size, I guess to get you full, or to not get you to follow one of their rules. So you must eat all of the sushi even the rice, you can't eat out the middle, even if you don't like it, before you can be served another option of the all you can eat items. The waitress literally pointed which sushi my guest didn't eat, as they went to order another option. Mind you, both of our rolls came on one plate, as if we were sharing. We did not like the fatty tuna with scallions, it was dry and very fishy. The spicy tuna which most places serve minced was more whole pieces, very different. Different is good, when it's flavorful, but this was missing it's punch. The kami salad was layered which was nice, but too much spicy mayo for the ratio, ask for your sauce on the side so you can mix it, since you mix it yourself anyway. The cucumber came layered under the crab, and the sauce on top, I actually liked that. The teas and soups were good, Dragon roll was my favorite, it was the shrimp tempura and salmon mixed. Try for yourself. It was a cute experience with good chocolate ice cream.
