I agree with another comment--the house-made potato chips are beyond salty. But they are still good, just wish they could use a little less salt. Their salad wraps are huge, fresh, and delicious. Much like the rest of the food on their out-of-the-ordinary menu. One word of caution, if you go when the dining room is not busy, you might be better off sitting in the bar. My husband and daughter and I were in town visiting grandma and grandpa. It was Grandpa's birthday and we wanted to take him somewhere different than the place we always go to. I checked this place out in the afternoon before deciding to go to dinner there. It looked pretty casual in the menu look like something everybody would enjoy. When we got there, we were greeted nicely and our server, JC, was very nice. All of the food was bountiful. We ordered the appetizer with three different items which was pretty good. It was onion rings, fried zucchini, and fried mozzarella sticks. The zucchini was a little undercooked. On to the main courses. It took longer than we would think and they brought it out in pieces. The two men got theirs first and my daughter and I got hers a few minutes later and Grandma was served last. Grandpa ordered a steak sandwich and he said it was good. My husband ordered a Philly cheese steak, which she said was decent. Grandma ordered fish and chips and she said it was so so. The french fries were thick steak type that were really good. A couple of us tried them. My daughter and I were excited when we saw the lobster tacos and we ordered them. The chips that came with them were salty beyond belief! We could not even eat them. When I told JC, she said there's nothing they could do about the chips and she offered to take the salad off the bill which I thought was nice. Both of my daughter and I could not eat the chips. The lobster tacos were not good. If the corn tortillas were warmed or cooked, it must've been very, very little. The lobster was chopped up in a wait and mixed with some kind of sauce that we can barely taste the lobster. We got two tacos and barely ate one. We took them home, but it didn't seem worth it to try to mend this. The best thing I can say is that the people they were very welcoming and pleasant. Also, JC gave my father-in-law a lemon bar for his birthday as we walked out. That was really sweet. Lastly, make sure you bring cash because you have to pay extra for using a card. We have to pay over $6 extra because we used a card. Am I understanding is that is happening a lot in restaurants. So, I don't think this is unusual. read more

Food, Service, and ownership need some re-evaluating. This is a whole in the wall pizza/bar... The food here is garbage. The kitchen is a frightening mess. Wings were oddly large and rubbery here. We ended up not eating them and throwing them out. Pizza came out cool and undercooked, very mediocre, like the rest of the food here. I really don't know how this location stays in business? The best thing about this place is that they offer a free beer to our military and medical service persons, which is the only reason I give one star. read more

Severely lacking in attention to detail. Ordered a chicken philly to split with my wife, and was brought a steak philly instead. I pointed to the chicken on the menu, said chicken when ordering, yet to make this mistake? And though the cook offered to correct this, the waitress gave a "who cares" attitude when I pointed it out. No offer to credit the wrong sandwich from her. Located in a small strip mall. Friendly small town service. It's definitely a dive. Some upgrades and a remodel could serve them well. Grub was good. Had to wait quite a long time for our food to arrive when the place wasn't very busy. We weren't cranky and dealt with it. Thankfully we were with a group of well behaved patrons. Wild Horse has great salads and homemade potato chips. Very good hamburgers, but you might want to add more mayo/mustard. My favorite is the chinese chicken salad with their dressing on the side! When you post a sign stating to seat yourself, you should probably glance around once in a while to see if anyone doeswe sat for 15-20 min without so much as a glance our direction. But the final straw was people sitting directly in front of us that just walked in were acknowledged and placed their order, still without the waitress even looking our way... 2 seconds to say "have you been helped" that would have worked great. On vacation and drove here from Coleville. I had a custom pizza and it was sooo good! The hubby had the zippy Sandwich with pasta salad and he liked it! Can't sit at the bar unless you wear a mask full time unless you pull it down to drink. The bar tables,you could sit with no mask. Had Coors light on tap. Congratulations to Levi....new owner of this wonderful HOME TOWN pub. We got in just before the grad crowd from Douglas HS and they were scrambling to accommodate all the last minute requests. That did NOT keep Levi and his wait staff from seeing that we got our meals and enjoyed a very relaxing evening.....in spite of what was about to hit them. The menu remains essentially the same with a few really great additions...check the new burgers. I was very impressed with Levi and his desire to not just continue what this place has been known for but add a few of his touches to take it up just a notch. This is a locals place just off the main road. It's kind of tucked back in a shopping plaza. The food is good. I had the turkey ole sandwich which was on special for the day so $9.95. I am from the CT and there we have grinders (basically something like a sub or hoagie) but I've never had anything that actually taste like a grinder anywhere else. Well this was the closest thing to a grinder I've had. And I think it all boils down to good bread. Beside that the sandwich innards tasted fresh, and they add a pepper to it which gives it that lil something extra! The real treat here is the real, home cut French fries that actually come in the norma shape of a potato and the potato chips that are also home made. Seriously delicious! Inside it is small town, bar like decor. But the service is friendly and it was relatively quick considering how fresh it all was. read more
