We live too far to order directly from Wild Olive for delivery, and as it's my husband's favorite, we use Uber Eats to order from them. The last two times in a row, Wild Olive has messed up the order - I mean entire pizzas just missing - then refused to fix it. They're six miles away but refuse to send a driver to fix what they messed up, and don't care that Uber will not send a driver back to address a mistake by the restaurant. So in the end, they get their money from Uber and give zero sh*ts about whether you actually got what you paid for. Their answer to the problem is "just get a refund from Uber and reorder" - so I have to pay two delivery fees and tips - for something you messed up? Great idea. I now have to wait for Uber Eats to refund my money and am still short on the food I ordered. Terrible place, awful service. read more

Wow, this is the second time I have ordered from Grub Hub and I have to say I've been very disappointed both times. Food arrived cold. The chili is good it's just a very luke warm. My first experience with the Wild Olive was not a great. Food took close to 2 hours to arrive. (We live less then 3 miles away). Chicken wings no flavor boring. Cottage fries,I Don't know what the heck those were. Half deep fried potatoes with flavorless canned chili, cheap cheese floating in a quarter inch of oil in the container. The brushetta. Had potential.Until someone decided Tabasco sauce would be a good ingredient to add. Who does that? You might of wanted to use some of that Tabasco sauce on those boring wings.. On to the calamari. Prebeaded,frozen,rubberbands, pretty sure you can by them at Costco. Ordered 3 salads. Wrong dressing on one .Other than that the salads were ok.. Final comments. My fiance and our friends ordered the stuff that if you're a pizza place and you screw it up that you shouldn't be a pizza place. To start this review I will begin with the good. I had the chicken spring rolls, and Mexican torta. Spring rolls were not like the usual ones i have had. They were loaded with cheese and jalapeño, similar to a taquito. I definitely enjoyed the spring rolls but the torta was a different story. The best part of the torta was the avocado, and the outside shell. The shell of the sandwich resembled a panini but with a little more chew to it and good flavor. I chose pulled pork for the torta . pork was extremely dry with a funky flavor. Now the bad. There is no parking here, only in the street and that is limited also. Inside of this place needs to be cleaned at the least, and a fresh coat of paint would be great. Pretty typical pizza spot with subs, appetizers, and salads on their menu along with the pizza. I came here because the pictures of wings from previous reviewers looked delicious. I ordered 18 wings for about $12, which is a steal to me. Their wings come boneless or traditional (with or without breading). I ordered half garlic parmesan and half hot. The wings were a good size, not the puny size I expected for the price. The hot flavor was good but the garlic parm was not that good. It tasted like they sprinkled salt on the wings and called it a day. For the price I wasn't compaining, maybe I just caught them on an off day. The service was not spectacular but they got my order ready to be picked up on time. I'll definitely be back again for their wings and to try other items. read more

The customer service was horrible and the man I talked to was very rude and told me that my food was fine even though he didn't see it. I'm very upset at the service I received. I only ordered here because I thought the food was good but I will NEVER be ordering from them again. 10/10 would not recommend EDIT: the rude man I spoke to earlier called back to thank me for my yelp review and then proceded to tell me that Grubhub wasn't answering their calls. After a very long day on the road, we decided to try out Wild Olive. I like the GrubHub setup on their website. It was easy to use & very convenient. After you order, you get a designated time to pick up. Our food was hot & ready at that time. Nice. We settled on a couple of customized pizzas, a rustic meatball grinder, a grilled buffalo chicken salad, waffle fries, sweet potato fries & fried Oreos. Pizzas were very nicely done with quality ingredients. The kids destroyed them along with the loaded waffle fries & fried Oreos. The grinder was very good...though I like my meatball grinders a little heavier on the sauce & cheese. The meatballs & shaved sausage were very tasty though. The salad was excellent with what looked like a whole chicken breast...very nicely prepared with excellent house vinaigrette. Sweet potato fries were nice & crunchy with a superb spicy chipotle ketchup! Staff was friendly & hard at work when I picked up...churning out orders. Might be my new favorite place in Springfield. I've ordered 2 large orders from them and they have been completely helpful and got our orders right both times. I have tried the south philly & black and blue artisan sandwiches and out of the two I enjoyed both. The thing that stood out to me was the meat in both. They were both very tender and delicious. I have been here 4 times since it has opened a few weeks ago. 1st trip I ordered the mozzarella sticks and the Cuban sandwich. The mozzarella was fresh and was in triangles and was fresh and delicious. You can tell they were homemade which around here is really rare. The pork was really amazing as well. 2nd Trip for lunch I stopped in and ordered the Southwest Philly steak sandwich it had shallots and this spicy mayo that was really good. I think this was my favorite or the bunch. the Rib eye was tender and sliced very thin. 3rd trip I wanted to have the Philly steak again but I forced myself to try something different so I ordered the chicken bacon ranch wrap to try the fried chicken. I was happy to say that the chicken is also not frozen. thank goodness for people who actually still cook. 4th trip was last night with my wife I had the Napa Valley turkey sandwich it was delicious. I wanted to try a new local pizza place. This one is right around the corner. I decided to get the Jerk Chicken wings, Garlic Bread and A Pepperoni pizza. Order came in a very timely fashion. Pizza was plain ole cheese, no big deal. I call and they send out a new one. New one comes 45 minutes later(1hr and 30 minutes after placing my initial order). PIzza is hot and pepperoni. However, The pizza is bland as hell, the bottom was over cooked and slightly burnt. The sauce had no flavor and the cheese was no better. The only good thing I can say is the jerk chicken is really good. I will not be ordering from their again. We used to love this place but the last few times we've ordered from them have been disappointing. We're from the NY / NJ area and their pizza used to be really good thin crust pizza. But the crust hasn't been thin and crispy for months, so we'd switched to other options. But tonight I ordered a caesar salad with chicken but their website didn't let me choose caesar dressing. I chose creamy italian and got "golden italian". Mix ups happen but this dressing was WAY too sweet, and didn't compliment the chicken at all.
