    Cappuccino

Yes, yes, and let me think...YES! Excellent food, drinks and service. Classy and upscale but with a chill and relaxed vibe. Great bartender made me a white sangria even though it wasn't on the menu. My husband had an Old Fashioned and enjoyed it. The wine can be a little pricey averaging around $15-$18 for 5 oz. The street tacos were delicious and the crab cake appetizer is a must. The wedge salad was the best I've ever had and they will split it for you if you ask. For the entree I would highly recommend the market fish piccata with shrimp. It comes with pasta and the most amazing crème sauce. Dessert we chose the salted chocolate pie which was super decadent and paired well with a really yummy cappuccino. My favorite restaurant so far in 30A. What a great addition to the area!

I came here with friends in a pretty quiet season so there was ample parking. When we arrived we were the only ones there. It was happy hour, so there was a discount on some beverages and some food. I drink wine and my wine was ok, but it was a very short pour, maybe that's how they justify a discount. I was hungry and did not want to go home and cooked dinner, so I ordered a salad. For $18 I got the smallest wedge salad I have ever seen, it may have been about 75 calories...I had to go home and fix dinner. I know prices are high here but at one of my favorite restaurants just down the road I can order a salad for $14 and it is enough for a meal. My bill was over $50 for 2 small glasses of wine and a tiny salad. I don't think I will be returning here.

All the food we had was so delicious, especially the Mushroom Ravioli! Was surprised to see I The ravioli in a soup but the broth was so good with the bread! We also enjoyed the White Chicken Flatbread and Scallop Appetizer with 3 larger scallops... great ambiance and our waiter was very attentive and refilled our water glasses frequently. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Get the fried goat cheese balls. Best things I've ever tasted!! Now that that's out of the way. This was the cutest little date night spot I've been to in the longest time. The cocktails and wine were adorable and tasty. The staff were all knowledgeable and very friendly. If you're looking for a fancy little tapas / wine date night spot this is the place to go. I'm 100% coming back next time I'm in town.

    Grouper Piccata with Shrimp

Dining so exceptional, it could knock the country twang right out of you. Upon entering, you'll be enveloped by the clean elegance of this stunning bistro. The tables are well-spaced, creating an intimate setting perfect for a romantic evening with my wife. The waitstaff and bartenders are both friendly and highly knowledgeable, enhancing the experience with their insights on food and drinks. Their unique take on the espresso martini was a delightful surprise. The main course transported me straight to the shores of Italy as I savored the Grouper Piccata. The sauce was thick and rich, with a zesty hint of lemon that brought it all together beautifully. If you're in the area, make sure to check this place out. From the moment you walk in to the moment you sneak the check from your father-in-law, every bite and sip is worth the visit.

Our group made a reservation for 13 people. Upon arrival we were seated promptly, drink orders were taken, then dinner orders. After 20 or so minutes we were told that the truck delivering food needed to prepare our dinner was late. After over 2 hours waiting food was served including raw salmon, tacos with brown avocado, tuna with brown avocado, dishes that were way over salted, salad with raw potatoes, and rotten strawberries. The bill was ~$1,000. They comped the salmon, and tuna with bad avacado along with a few appetizers but still charged over $800 not including tip. Not a single entree was good. 13 people were not happy customers. The whole meal should have been comped and just charged for the drinks. The real manager was apparently sick and our waitress was taking the role of both positions. The prices are high to begin with and the food was simply terrible along with the hours just sitting. If the food and service aren't good the ambiance doesn't matter. If you have reservations or are planning to stop by. Do yourself and your party the biggest favor possible... Go somewhere else. We should have left upon being informed the food truck was late...

Let's start with WOW! Great food, great wine, great service and great ambiance! We started with the "Chris's Wine Flight" and enjoyed some tastes of Caymus and Cade wine. For starters, we split the burrata salad and fried goat cheese with fig jam. We also split the shrimp & market catch piccata. On all 3 courses, the flavors were so spot on. I highly recommend! This will be on our return list for sure.

The wife and I decided to just drop by this area to see what the shops were like and happen to run into this wine/cocktail bar. The mixologist made an exquisite Mai Tai, Pain Killer for me... and a stout Mint Julep for the wife. Totally recommend this joint to the refined drinkers out there who enjoy a beautiful drink experience.

The food is insanely good!!! The service is so attentive. We were walking along 30 and stumbled into Greenway station and came across Wild Olives and decided to have a drink. The drink was so good it turned into dinner and dessert and the best time we've had so far. Highly recommend wild olives to anyone looking for good food, good drinks, and good vibes !

Don't let reviews fool you. This WAS a great place once upon a time. If you enjoy eating somewhere where you know the employees checks will bounce and they won't actually be taken care then go here. Most of the 5 star reviews you see are the owner asking friends to review because they started tanking. Thats why the 5 star reviews don't say anything specific. Don't go here, go to restaurants that actually appreciate and take care of the staff. The owner of this restaurant is an incompetent scam artist....

The soup was my favorite crab soup out of the 3 I tried around 30a. We got the shrimp carbonara and shrimp and grits for our entrees. The carbonara portion was huge. Definitely enough to split with someone and still have leftovers. We were pretty stuffed and nothing piqued our interest so we passed on dessert. The server was nice and attentive. Appetizers came out pretty quick. The complimentary bread was good. Our only criticism was that the shrimp came with the tails on so we can get our hands dirty with sauce to remove the tails off. Not going to deduct points for it as it seems like everywhere in 30a serves shrimp with tails but my southern husband was disappointed by it at a nice restaurant. We will definitely be back on future trips to 30a. I feel like it was the one restaurant we went to during our trip where we could have a nice conversation without having a hard time hearing each other across the table.

I got the lobster in paradise and the arugula salad and both were delicious! My husband got the filet and asparagus and while it was prepared safely, it was his least favorite steak of the trip. Our waitress was great and very friendly! However, when we got to the hostess stand and gave them our name, the employees at the stand seemed to be bickering a bit and we weren't sure if it was related to my husbands allergies/where to seat us or something else, but it made us a little nervous. The happy hour deals are amazing and people line up at the door at open for the $6 martini special (bar only - but you can get up and walk over there). We did get to participate in the bogo half off entree deal which was nice. Overall, I would return but the first impression with the hosts just worried us a bit.

Lindsay made a fantastic first impression and expertly guided us through the menu. Every recommendation was spot on. The smoked Old Fashioned paired with the Clothesline Bacon was an incredible start--the bacon is a must-order item with its unique combination of beans and spiced peaches. The Pimento Hushpuppies with jalapeño chutney were another standout. While the larger plates were excellent, the duck was the star of the evening. Paired with the Brussels sprouts, it was one of the best duck dishes I've had anywhere along the Florida Panhandle. The chef deserves credit for the creativity and intentionality behind every dish. Everything felt thoughtfully paired and executed. The outdoor patio was also an amazing atmosphere--comfortable, inviting, and surprisingly pleasant even in the Florida heat. You can tell this is a family-owned restaurant that genuinely cares about quality. Highly recommended, and for Amex cardholders, this will be one of the few places where I consistently use my Resy dining credit.

Our server never checked on us so we couldn't inquire about the missing drink. We ate all of the appetizers with our menus still on the table because he didn't come back to take our dinner order until we had eaten all of the appetizers and had to flag down someone else to ask if we could place our entree order. Have never had that happen at any dining establishment let alone a higher end restaurant like Surfing Deer! It took a long time for the entrees to arrive and to get our drink order corrected. The original adult mocktail was given to one of the kids and it was unclear that it was her kids drink that was never brought to the table. Our truffle fries were cold, the pad Thai was chewy and oddly salty. Those things could have been overlooked but we just felt overall that we weren't really being cared for at the table so we skipped dessert. It was a very disappointing experience. Food wise: --Hushpuppies 3/5 just standard nothing special --Brussel sprouts 4/5 good but oily and small portion --clothes hanger bacon 4/5 for flavor and presentation. Rosemary torched at the table was odd bc it didn't flavor the bacon it just made smoke go everywhere --surfing deer chicken nugs 5/5 like an elevated chick fil a nugget with a delicious slaw --Seafood acadania: 5/5 delicious --Fish of the day: 4/5 small ish portion but good --Pesto pappardelle: 4/5 good but a bit chewy --Pad Thai: 2/5 what was that even? very chewy noodles with super salty sauce. Not even a relative of pad Thai --Kids petite filet mignon 4/5 super good but fries were cold and 22.00 for a tiny steak
