Nice restaurant with great atmosphere. Like the food presentation and flavor. Service is good and the seating area is amazing. Good north Thai app

It looked packed but we got a table right away. Super fast service. The waiter had lots of helpful info. My friend got the khao soi curry and he really loved it. I got the gluten free pad woon sen and it was pretty good- I'd get it without the onions because they're huge chunks that aren't cooked enough to have removed that biting raw flavor. The noodles and sauce were really good though.

Wild Rose Northern Thai is such a standout restaurant. They offer lots of vegan options, which is a huge win, and everything I've tried has been packed with flavor. The food tastes fresh, vibrant and thoughtfully prepared. It's the kind of place where you finish your meal already thinking about what you want to try next time. The decor is lovely and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It feels special without being over the top. The service is also consistently great, with staff who are friendly and attentive.

My second time to Wild Rose and it was great! We went mid afternoon so no wait time. The restaurant is very cute inside with lots of tables. The beef skewers were delicious and tender. The green curry was also great and a huge portion! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

You know that first meal you eat after you've been camping for days and you emerge from the woods into civilization and wander into an actual restaurant? That meal is usually delicious amiright? Wild Rose was OFF THE HOOK!!! Like I'm so excited to return to Bend just to go here! It was lively and hopping when we came in for lunch, but we were seated and served in no time! I loved the roses, and was so interested in the mural that explained the geographical differences that made the flavors and dishes so incredible! Highly highly highly recommend. Can't wait to go back!

Khao Soi Curry (left), Khao Gai Tod (right), Thai Sunrise (drink)

Wait time was about 1.5 hours on a Saturday night. It took some time to get a server once seated but was quick after that. We ordered the Khao Gai Tod and the Khao Soi Curry. The Khao Gai Tod was decent at best, the sauce saved the dish but overall meat felt dry and I wouldn't order the dish again. The Khao Soi Curry was delicious, but is definitely a heavy dish so you'd want to share it, or make sure to have a rice dish to supplement. I also got a Thai Sunrise drink which was delicious but did not have much alcohol, more of a refreshing treat. Ambiance is great and interior is pretty. Only thing is, at night there's a club downstairs which causes a loud bass background.

Seemed like a good spot to have lunch. The ambiance was pretty nice and the menu was a little different than most thai places I've eaten. I ordered the Holy Eggplant with fried tofu.l and Thai Iced Tea. The flavor was pretty good, but i really wish the portion size was a little bigger. Also with a dish called Holy Eggplant, I would've expected more Eggplant. The Thai Iced tea was good. I sat at the bar and my server was friendly and service was pretty fast.

Yummy Thai food!!! I was in Antelope, OR and an overwhelming amount of people recommended Wild Rose for good Asian food. Service was great and fast. Food tasted SO good. Ambiance was good. I came for an early dinner so there weren't too many people

The food here is so fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is relaxing. The service is just okay, a little slow but the wonderful flavors of the food help to overlook the sorta bad service. For Thai food, I highly recommend trying this place.

False advertising for portion size

I got the five spice pork dish, it tasted good seasoning wise for the meat. However, the pork was a bit dry and veggies were bland. On another note, why the hell did I only get a few bites of meat out of this?? Look at what they advertise on their website, versus the dish I actually got. For $20 I got rice and veggies with a SIDE of pork. I finished the meat within about 2 minutes and was left with 2 cups of plain rice afterwards. Way overpriced here.

Tom kha, pork ribs, fried chicken

Came in here for a late lunch. This spot is located in downtown across the Wells Fargo building. Ordered: Pork ribs 4/5 - texture of this was amazing. It was crispy and tender at the same time! The flavor was a bit plain so you definitely need the sauce. I personally prefered it with the sauce from the fried chicken dish. Khao Gai Tod - Fried chicken 3/5, chicken was okay. This dish is nothing to write home about. Rice had a great garlic fragrance. The sauce in this dish really made it a lot better. Grandfathers Tom kha soup 5/5. Come back for this forsure! One of the best tom kha's I've had. Also to note, we ordered level 4 spice out of 5 and it really wasn't terribly spicy in a good way. It had a slight kick but nothing overpowering. Thai tea 2/5 pretty watered down and sweet. you can skip this.

Not as good as it used to be. Seems like the quality is going down. I don't know if it's related to wait staff shortage or what

Solid food but warning: 2 hours wait seem normal here AND they don't even call you or text you (which I find fairly egregious..)

I'm dying to find a place in Bend with quality ingredients for Thai. I'm strictly no CAFO meat, but love Thai occasionally. Does anybody know or can somebody ask where they source their meat and veg?

You must make a reservation at Langbaan PDX. It's very difficult to get a table but the ingredients are far superior to any Thai restaurant in Oregon. Wild Rose uses very unique spices and herbs that are in fact gathered In A tiny village outside… Read more

I'm not a huge northern Thai person. I love a great bowl of noodles the way they were meant to be and realistically that's cheap. A lot of people try to fancy up a lot of these dishes and elevate the ingredients and the presentation and the ambience but really and truly this isn't what I look for in good pad. Thai and pad kee mao. I just want it done right authentic as possible fresh ingredients and as big a portion as I can possibly find. I think they did a great job of all that here and I really didn't regret coming here instead of the other place that I'm sure you'll see around the corner. Not to disrespect other place. It look delicious and I'm sure we'll try it there again but for this trip, we were very happy with the noodle dishes. They have here great taste great color, very fresh and good portion.

The portions were solid and filling, and it felt like they cared about both the flavor and the balance of the dish. Price: Good amount of food for the price. Overall: It's been a while since we went, but it stuck with us enough to still remember it as a good experience. Definitely a spot we'd go back to and worth trying if you're in the area.

Bai Tong on Wheels - DoorDash Delivery - Bend, Oregon…read more The food was delivered lightning fast, only 16 minutes from DoorDash order confirmation to tasty food at my door. The packaging was neat and secure, with no messy curry spills. This was my first time ordering from Bai Tong on Wheels, and when I unpacked everything I was a little underwhelmed by the portion size of the red curry. But once I plated it with rice, the bowl looked mostly full. It was warm, smelled great, and once I started eating, my impression kept improving. The curry was rich and creamy with just a touch of heat, the chicken was flavorful, and the rice was perfectly cooked. I also ordered a small side of shrimp, which turned out to be very good. Tender and tasty comes to mind, and at $5, it may be the best deal in town. **Cost:** Red Curry: $15.95 Jasmine Rice: $3.00 Shrimp Side: $5.00 Subtotal: $23.95 Express Fee: $2.99 Delivery Tip: $6.00 **Total: $34.14** By the end, this turned out to be one of the best (maybe *the* best) delivery meals I've had since moving to Bend. Bai Tong on Wheels is definitely in the win column.
