In the heart of downtown Dallas, this place stands out. There are plenty of tables to handle a busy work crowd and it's modern and trendy! Ask for Carolina! She gives great recommendations and provides excellent service. She was friendly but non-invasive, present but not overbearing, and my drink was never empty! She recommend the torta with a Mexican coke and the pair was delish! We also tried the queso blanco and my friend had the tortilla soup! Try this spot if you are near downtown!

Girls dinner tonight was so good! We love the vibe. Music was lively. Our server Paola was attentive and helpful with suggestions. In love with their queso it has such good spice, a must have. Also a must have was the coconut horchata I had! Amazing! So good I forgot to take a picture. I normally don't like tres leches cake but our server recommended it since it's made fresh in house and she was right it was delicious perfect ending to our meal!

Great service at an odd hour! Friday late lunch at 2PM and the team was on point. Great bar staff and managers. Fresh chips with homemade salsa Verda made daily with an appropriately priced frozen marg, what more do you need? Great team, prices, happy hour, and adequate music volume create a great vibe if you need MX food!

We had a fantastic experience for our girls' night at Wild Salsa. The dishes were fresh and flavorful, complemented by a warm and inviting atmosphere. It is an ideal spot to begin an evening in the city. A special thanks to our waitress, whose thoughtful recommendations made our meal even better.

The food here is very delicious, ingredients are fresh. The presentation of the entrees is art, there is a definite attention to detail. There's complimentary chips and salsa that's so good! The beverages were tasty and presented well, didn't need to order two. The service is friendly, nothing to complain about. The decor inside is fabulous, there's a cozy classy feel to this casual restaurant. On the way out they even offer a free mini popsicle which was perfect for the summer weather outside! Definitely recommend and will be back!

Great food and great service! The mahi mahi in coconut lime sauce and carne asada was so flavorful and delicious! I will definitely be back to try more!

Enjoyed a lovely lunch here on a Saturday for Valentine's Day!! Loved the fresh green salsa and queso blanco with chili oil and pico. Morgan took exceptional care of us! She was so welcoming and just a great vibe for the day. Barbacoa quesadillas to share were a move and the churros were so rich for dessert. Get here sooner than later in the day cause it gets busy!

Where now I have mixed feelings about this place but overall likely will not return. The waitress was amazing. She was literally running back and forth to accommodate customers. It appeared they were short staff and she was really doing her best and we appreciated her. The food 5/10, drink was 7/10... we sat outside which was cool, it was clean for the most part. Now the bathrooms were an entire different story... ABSOLUTELY FILTHY! Doors missing knobs, doors didn't lock, smelt like something died in it.

Whenever I come to Wild Salsa, it never disappoints! The food is great, cocktails are amazing, and the staff always makes you feel welcome. It's the perfect spot for date night, happy hour, or for showing friends around downtown. It's easily some of the best Mexican food in the area. Can't recommend this place enough!

This was a hidden gem that we found while waiting for the new edition concert. We walked in and you're instantly greeted with aqua Fresca shots. The menu was amazing with manager Ashton at the helm + the amazing service we received from Tiffany. This place is a must for sure! We will be back for the great food and the amazing service from Tiffany

Wonderful service!!! Tiffany and Aston were hospitable and were knowledgable of what the restaurant had to offer! Very accommodating and I wod 10/10 recommend everyone to patronize here.

Overall: 2.6/5 [dine in]…read more The place is nice, but smaller than expected. They had bubble guns too, which was a fun surprise. We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.

Overall: 4.7/5 [dine in]…read more Service was amazing! Our waitress Emilia was super attentive throughout the whole night. The drinks have unique flavor combinations that actually deliver and the happy hour is phenomenal. We're talking 50% off select appetizers and entrees, $12 Over the Counter cocktails, $10 classics, and BOGO ponies and shots. They also have daily specials Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday. The space has serious speakeasy vibes so give your eyes a few seconds to adjust when you walk in from the bright light outside. Icelandic Hot Dog ($3.50 HH): Tiny single bite TX wagyu dog that was cute but hard to share. Tasted pretty similar to a regular hot dog. Tostada ($4 HH): Kanpachi on a blue corn tortilla. I'd recommend getting 2 since it gets messy the moment you take a bite and I didn't really get a proper taste of it because of that. Caviar Chip ($6.50 HH): A generous dollop of caviar on a kettle cooked potato chip with creme fraiche underneath. A yummy combo but honestly something you could recreate at home. East Coast Oyster ($2.75 HH): My husband got a single oyster to try and thought it was pretty good. London Fog ($12 HH): Milk washed London dry gin, earl grey, aveze, dry curacao, and vanilla orange honey. I loved this cocktail. I don't usually like gin and find earl grey too strong on its own but this combination was perfection. It was also served in the cutest tea cup with a yummy cookie on the side. Morocco ($12 HH): Moroccan mint tea, terralta reposado, rye, fernet branca menta, and agave. Not my favorite compared to the London Fog but my husband absolutely loved it and said it was one of the best cocktails he has ever had. He even said it would have been his signature cocktail at our wedding. I was shocked but to each their own. Confit'd and Fried Chicken Wings ($7.50 HH): The most disappointing item of the night. Came with 6 wings tossed in a Korean wing sauce that tasted very close to buffalo. The wings themselves were average. Skip these. Beef Cheek Tacos ($12 HH): Came with 3 tacos that were some of the best we've had in a while. Delicious, flavorful, no notes. Highly recommend. Soft Serve Marg ($12 HH): Like a boozy dole whip that doubled as dessert. Not too heavy but not super strong either. A fun way to end the meal. Pekin Tom ($20): Duck fat washed wild turkey 101, lapsang peach liqueur, absinthe, and pecan smoke. Not part of the happy hour menu. They smoke it right in front of you which is a cool presentation but the taste was pretty average. APO Burger ($10 HH) + Truffle Fries Sub ($7): The truffle fries felt a bit steep but they ended up being worth it. Super crispy, delicious, and addictive. The burger was cut in half which made it easy to share and it came with a TX wagyu patty, bruleed fontina, Spanish tomato spread, garlic whip, and chive. Burst of flavors, melt in your mouth wagyu, absolutely chef's kiss. We will 100% be coming back. It's a perfect spot for an intimate date night.

The Inappropriate Beet Pun (London dry gin, strega, beet, red pepper, orange juice, lemon, honey, goat cheese coconut foam) tasted very beet/earthy... ngl I liked drinking the bottom part separately from the goat cheese foam. The staff was very welcoming, and the other guests I encountered were friendly and sociable. The drinks were excellent. On my first visit, I had the Hugo Spritz, which was mixed to perfection. During my second visit, I tried the Bitter Lemon Soda, which was also very good--simple, refreshing, and without any overpowering flavors. I actually enjoyed The Bowen House so much that I went twice during my weekend trip to Dallas. It has an almost speakeasy-like atmosphere, with low lighting and a cozy, historic feel. It's also in a very walkable area, which made it easy to visit on foot. There is some parking available, although I would say it's somewhat limited. I don't think it would be the best spot for a very large group, but it would be perfect for a few friends getting together. I also appreciated that you can order a drink while waiting for a table or bar seating, which made the wait feel much more enjoyable. Overall, The Bowen House was one of my favorite places I visited while in Dallas. Between the atmosphere, welcoming service, and well-crafted drinks, it's definitely a place I would return to the next time I'm in town.

A Happy Hour Hidden Gem in Dallas!…read more We took a day trip to Dallas to see the circus and decided to pop into a nearby bar for drinks and small bites. Parking was a challenge, but we opted for valet and, at only $10, it was totally worth it! We originally planned to check out Bar Eden for happy hour but accidentally walked into Paradiso, which is connected. Bar Eden is a little smaller and has more of an intimate, speakeasy vibe, while Paradiso has a gorgeous, lively atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the happy hour specials were perfect for afternoon drinks--cocktails under $10! The margarita was delicious, and the other cocktails were just as pretty as they were tasty. One thing to know: it seems there's only one restroom, so the wait can be lengthy. BUT once you get inside, you'll understand why...because it's basically a girl's dream photo booth! Definitely plan a little extra time for the bathroom selfies. We didn't try the food this time, but the ambiance and music were on point. The outdoor seating is beautiful and elegant, although it was way too hot for daytime lounging during our visit. Overall, I'd absolutely come back--especially for happy hour! Great drinks, beautiful atmosphere, and plenty of photo-worthy moments.

After about 10 minutes my brother went up to the bar and asked if a server would be coming to take our order, and was told that they were busy (they did not look busy at all) but would get to us ASAP. Another 10 minutes went by and, as no one had still come to see us, we elected just to leave. They said nothing as we walked out of the restaurant. Aside from pulling up a chair on the (again, totally empty) patio, I have no idea what we did that could have made them so upset at us. The whole experience was really odd and super off-putting, particularly so as there was no communication at all from the wait staff.
