    Hot fudge sundae

Walk up window service was very nice. Very clean parking area and walk up stand area. Had a chocolate custard cake cone, a vanilla custard hot fudge sundae, and a cookies & cream ice cream cone. All were very tasty.

I'm ngl, I used to drive by this place all the time and pay no mind to it. Now, if I want something to cool me down on a hot day or a sweet treat. This might be the spot, when it's nearby and available. The prices are actually pretty good, I ordered the Ice cream sandwiches. I ordered three for $5.99 because I thought they would be small, but they were pretty big so I ended up sharing. I definitely would come back and get the ice cream sandwiches again especially for that price.

This is a little outdoor spot, no inside seating at all, and no seats at all outside. They do have a couple of table to stand at while consuming the most delectable frozen desserts. They have Italian ice, frozen custard, and soft serve ice cream, and hand scooped ice cream. It's located on Pioneer Boulevard right next to the Arco, near Lander Boulevard, where there's no really nice ice cream spot around us. So it definitely fills a niche in this neighborhood. They weren't too popular when they first opened, I think it's because it's a little out of the way and nobody knows where it is, but then they had a video on TikTok and boom !!!!! Now you have to wait in line forever. But they're super delicious and once you wait in line you for sure you're gonna come back! Italian ice and frozen custard In Norwalk !!! Who knew!?

I've been meaning to try this place ever since I learned they opened but for some reason, I've always wanted to go by on a Sunday- day that they're closed- which I think is great. But anyway- I finally made it here *twice* and I am so happy that I did. The customer service is very nice, the treats are reasonably priced and there are variety of options. Don't let the area scare you away- the location is not super eye catching or appealing, and there isn't any seating outside but there is a drive thru! So for all you lazy mo-fo's, go get your gelati at the drive thru. I hope this business will thrive because the city of Norwalk doesn't have anything else like it. It's delicious!

This place! Help, I am officially addicted. I think anything you order here will be delicious and their prices are so freaking good! Best value. Their ice cream cookies are only $3.25 like how is this true? Their custard with slushy is like so so yummy and I eat like 1/4 at a time so it lasts me like 4 days. I keep it in a freezer bag and it stays good and fresh. The ambiance is totally hidden. No light up sign or anything but it's next to the gas station. I mean you can even walk over to Wild Scoops from the gas station. It's like really dark and looks like you are driving down a dark alleyway ha ha. It kinda looks spooky! Honestly, don't be scared of the ambience be scared of the calories.

This is frozen dessert heaven! The other reviews have given you the basics, so I'll tell you my story. I was lamenting to a friend in Milwaukee that we have no frozen custard shops in LA. Most people I know here don't even know what frozen custard is! After a week of dreaming about the velvety goodness, I decided to check for anything that might satisfy my craving (thank you Yelp). I found Wild Scoops and ran to my car. 15 minutes later I'm in line at the drive thru. As I looked at the menu on the wall, my heart sank. The words on the menu said "soft-serve". I was devastated. No self-respecting custard shop would shame their otherworldly custard by calling it soft-serve. Frozen custard is entirely other-level. But OK, I thought, let's see what SoCal THINKS frozen custard is. The Gelati caught my eye, described as Italian ice and (I'm expecting fake) frozen custard. It sounded interesting, even if it might not be true custard. My mind was open but my expectations were low. I ordered the Gelati with vanilla soft serve and cherry and lemon Italian ices. Let's see what we get... I was handed a clear cup, where I could see a layered concoction of my requested vanilla, cherry, and lemon. A substantial swirl of vanilla was on top, well exceeding the top of the cup but with no sign of melting anytime soon. One anticipatory taste... my eyes lit up! This is the stuff I've been craving! The real deal. Who knew? Then, I panicked! Maybe I should have ordered the custard alone! Will the Italian ice take away from the experience? Absolutely not! It turned it sublime! A combined bite delivered a perfectly crystallized portion of Italian ice slowly melting into the custard as I held it briefly on my tongue. I'd never had anything like it. I've never had a custard dessert so delicious! And that's saying a lot, a lot, a lot. Thank you Wild Scoops! The service was friendly and welcoming. The smile from the girl at the window melted my heart. One tiny suggestion to the proprietor: offer lime ice to allow for a cherry limeade gelati! But to be sure, that's not going to keep me from coming back again and again.

    Small Gelati

Love the service. The girl at the drive thru was very friendly and allowed samples. I ordered a small gelati with 2 flavors. I will come back to try the rest. Drive thru is very convenient.

    Butter beer ice and custard

This place truly is a hidden gem. I almost didn't notice it because it's shaped like a house. Their drive thru is so convenient. Especially during the summer time when we barely want to get out of cars and into this heat. They have so many flavors to choose from. Be aware that some flavors online are seasonal and may no longer be available. I got the butterbeer and custard. The butterbeer was very sweet but reminded me of the ones from universal. The custard was the best part. It tastes like soft serve. The service was great. The young lady who helped me was kind enough to make suggestions and was very quick. The ambiance is interesting. They have a walk up window and drive thru. Both are kept clean and tidy! If you haven't been here yet drive on by and give them a try.

My work is about 10 minutes away and would like to go during lunch. I know you have a drive-thru, but is putting in an order for take-out available? Making the most of lunchtime.

At the moment, no. We are overwhelmed currently just taking normal orders, but I am hoping we can set up a system for mobile ordering sometime this fall, when I have the opportunity to do so.

    Any non-diary options?

All the Italian ice flavors we currently offer are non-dairy. You would be able to get any of the Italian ices and the freeze drinks, which uses soda water and Italian ice.… Read more

Update: They're no longer affiliated with Fivestars!…read more I've since gone two additional times to try their waffle bites. My last trip was kind of spontaneous because I suddenly got a Fivestars reward that day for these waffle bites. However, when I arrived, I was looking for the Fivestars tablet only to be met by a Clover tablet instead. It felt like I went through a time warp because the employee working behind the register didn't seem to have any idea what I was trying to say regarding Fivestars, though he did notice a little trifold card on the front counter mentioning Fivestars. I asked if he could get his manager so I could explain, and even show, him my Fivestars reward. The reward said "already accepted", which he almost thought meant I had redeemed it already, but if that were the case, then it would have said "already redeemed". Given that they've now done away with Fivestars, I'm not too surprised he may have gotten the words "accepted" confused with "redeemed", but luckily, he was happy enough to honor it for me. The employee who assisted me was very helpful, though he did ask me to repeat the topping and the drizzle that I wanted. I chose the Strawberry Cheesecake flavor ice cream with Fruity Pebbles toppings and a Strawberry drizzle on top. Since I had already tried the cookie flavors before, I figured I'd try the fruity flavors this time around. He said he needed about 5 minutes to prepare my waffle bites, which were presented a little different than last time. Last time, I got the Cookie Butter flavor with *Cookie* Crisp and Peanut *Butter* (see what I did there?), and it came in a small plastic takeout container. This one came in a large plastic cup, and I'm thinking the logistics may have changed a ton between my last two visits. I did appreciate how the employee asked if I wanted the waffles on top of or beneath the ice cream before making the waffle bites; I chose on top. He also asked if I'd like powdered sugar on top, to which I agreed. Unfortunately, neither of the waffle bites I got from my last two visits impressed me that much. As a matter of fact, the only thing that impressed me was the strawberry drizzle. Everything else fell kind of flat. While generous in size for the $8 price tag, the Cookie Butter and the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream didn't really taste like these flavors at all! For whatever reason, the peanut butter didn't add much flavor, but the strawberry drizzle added a lot! How even?! In short, the waffle bites weren't that much of an upgrade from the ice cream scoop that I had on my first visit. I'm willing to say "too much good was no good" here. The waffles themselves were good, but they can only do so much when a flavored ice cream doesn't even taste like that flavor. It's worth noting that on my penultimate visit, when I got the Cookie Butter Waffle Bites, I saw two employees behind the front counter who were ready to take my order. I asked them to explain what the waffle bites were, but it took them a couple of tries to actually understand what I was asking. From what I gathered, the waffle bites were similar to the ice cream scoop I had on my first visit, but with the addition of a warm waffle to supplement the ice cream. However, the step-by-step process remains the same. I was initially told it would take 6 minutes to prepare the Cookie Butter Waffle Bites, but it actually took 15! It seemed like one was training the other or they were trying to gather the ingredients and/or the steps needed to create the waffle bites. After about 10 minutes, I was told by one of the employees they had to make a new batch of waffles because the first batch had burnt. The music was getting pretty loud, so it was hard to hear him after that, but I didn't want to hold up the kitchen prep process any longer. I just said "Alright, sure" so he could continue preparing my order. I do appreciate how he let me know of this so that I'd know the reason for the extended wait, but I wish they weren't so ill-prepared during my visit. So overall, still 3 stars overall. I appreciate the prior partnership with Fivestars, but these missed opportunities have led me to believe that Cravings is just not for me. I doubt I'll try anything else on their ice cream menu, and considering that there are only a few parking spots in their lot, it will take a lot to get me to try their hot chicken. And speaking of lack of parking, I also want to mention that on my second visit, I saw two open parking stalls right in front of Cravings, one on either side of a car. That car had its driver's side wide open so that I couldn't park there. I had to park on the passenger side of that car, which he left much less room for. Perhaps a microcosm of the clientele in this part of town? Everybody deserves a second chance, right? Unfortunately, not everybody can make the most of them, and this is just one example of such. Thanks for the sweet treats Cravings, but I'll get my next one somewhere else.

The ice cream was a 5/5 for me, the toppings, and waffles combined well giving a crunch to the soft ice cream. Free parking is available but limited, and they have outdoor seating with a v for entertainment. I was joyed to see the international snacks available for purchase! I had to buy some oreos. Another perk was the eatery nextdoor!

I really appreciated how nice and helpful the workers were. The girl who helped us offered recommendations and let us sample a handful of flavors. Ultimately we decided to get a flight which included 4 flavors of kid sized scoops for $15. They had a "Brewed and Bold" offering as part of their seasonal menu so we decided to get the Black Sesame Cookies and Cream, Thai Tea Buttercrunch, Matchaberry Brownie, and their Hojicha Chip. The ice cream flavors were subtle but so delicious and refreshing. I can't wait to come back and try more of their flavors. Parking can be a bit tough depending on the time of day as it's in a busy plaza shared with other eateries, but thankfully we were able to snag a spot within a few minutes.

I've been holding off on writing this review for a while because I really wanted to give them a…read morechance to improve, but after my recent visit, it's clear things are only getting worse. The ice cream here is honestly horrible. It is aggressively, tooth-achingly sweet--to the point where it feels like you're eating straight corn syrup. If you're looking for actual flavor, look elsewhere; this stuff just tastes like "diabetes in a cup." To make matters worse, the consistency is a mess. It melts way too fast, turning into a sugary soup before you can even get through half of it. I also made the mistake of buying a tub to take home once, only to realize the expiration date was incredibly soon. For the price they charge, you'd expect high-quality ingredients and a decent shelf life, but it just feels cheap and poorly made. Save your money and your health. I won't be coming back. PS. It's a blessing in disguise that they're currently closed because a car ran into their front store.
