I had the pleasure of having dinner at this Wild Wing Cafe in Pooler. It was a very busy night and even the seats at the bar were full; however we were still seated pretty quickly. In spite of it being a very busy night, our server, Carleigh was amazing!!! She kept up with the pace of the evening, kept our glasses full, checked on us frequently and was never hurried. Stopped here for lunch and both me and the wife had chicken feathers. They were grilled, juicy and lightly flavored. My sauces were ginger (teriyaki) and Thai. Both OK, and the sauce is more of a basting. My wife mild "hot wing" sauce and garlic. Of the four sauces, the garlic was the best by far. I had the onion rings as a side and the wife had skewed vegetables. The vegetables were much better than the onion rings. We also had the cheese fries as an appetizer. This was the best part of the meal. The fries were wedges with tons of cheese, bacon, chives and sour cream!! I like my sauces thick, but the grilled feathers (skewers) were a nice change. They are touted as being open until 2 in the morning and I'm currently sitting in the parking lot after going in and being told that they're closed. It's 10:38. We have been here twice now and the first time the wings and service were great... this time... not so much. It started with the hostess, we walked in and her back was to us, it took her a bit to turn around and realize she even had people waiting. She didn't say anything and I finally chimed in with "hi, two please!" She then grabbed two menus and walked to a table... tossed the menus into the table and mumbled under her breath to enjoy our meals... that set the mood. The menus were also disgusting, you couldn't even read the sauces on the back of the menu and they were ripped and slightly damp... ew. Our server came and took our drink order, I got a 16oz beer, my husband a 20oz. We received two 16oz beers... when my husband advised his was supposed to be the larger size, the server just said "oh... sorry..." and walked away. Ummm... ok, not going to correct it? Nope, she never did end up doing that. When our wings arrived, they looked ok, but as soon as we bit into them they were fairly dry. My husband ended up asking for a side of sauce for his, the server advised she'd get them... it took a good 5 minutes for those to come out. When we got our bill, they ended up charging us a dollar for the sauces (even though they never mentioned there'd be an up charge). The whole time the server seemed more interested in talking to her friends at the tables behind us, we felt more like an inconvenience than like a customer. Once we paid for our meal and left, we both felt fairly sick to our stomachs. I should have stopped eating my wings when I bit into one and saw the inside was completely brown and mushy... the others seemed ok, but bleh, no idea what would even cause that!!! Overall, I would say, if it's a good day, you'll have good wings and maybe good service as our previous server was pretty good... if not, prepare for gut rot... so better just steer clear and find another wing place! read more

Hate to only give this 3 stars, but the host nearly ruined it at the start! Don't know the young man's name, but it was Sunday July 2nd...he said,"Hi. How many? Is a flat-top okay?" When we answered that we would prefer a booth, he rolled his eyes, sighed heavily, and curtly said 'fine!'. There were plenty of booths, and there were only a few people in that area - but there were some, so I am unsure of his motives for being frustrated with our choice. This did not set a good tone for our dinner. We all noticed and were taken aback by his response. The server (Ryan) was great, and our food was okay - so all in all, we had a fair experience. But, it almost made us get up from the giant booth we didn't require and leave for your competitor just across the street before we were ever served. The host is the first person seen by customers, and a lousy greeting can put a bad taste in your mouth that is hard to erase with food. The table was dirty, the wings were overcooked (asked for crispy, got darn near burnt), and the tots were nearly cold. Disappointing if only because this is not what we are accustomed to from WW. The crew needs to be reminded that one bad dinner can turn away not just the disappointed party but also people who ask for recommendations on a great wing place. read more

EDIT: Updated review based on conversation with the GM. She explained why the wings were cold that day and there was retraining involved. She was saddened by the server's lack of empathy or desire to contact a manager. I went back today and the food was much better and my server was awesome. But today changes everything. They have a great (in theory) all-u-can eat lunch for $10.99 during weekday lunch time. 11 to 2 or 3, I think. Today, I went in around 11:30. Pretty close to the beginning of the lunch period. Would expect everything to be fresh. I took one or two of every wing they had (8 flavors, I think) from the "hot" table. The tables were hot, for sure. There seemed to be water in the pans. So why weren't my wings hot? Asked "Storm", my server. She came back with "The hot table is warm." Went to the bathroom and came back to a busser clearing my table. Would have cleared the whole table if another worker didn't say "I think he's still here" as I was returning. Anyway, back to the wings. I ate them all. I can eat cold wings, but I wouldn't expect them to be cold. They were actually kinda shriveled like they were cooked last night (or earlier), thrown in the fridge, the taken out a couple hours ago and seasoned with some room temperature flavorings, finally being placed on the Hot Table, expecting it to actually warm the wings to a serving temperature. So don't get me wrong - the chicken wasn't under-cooked. But they sure weren't fresh, and they sure weren't hot. And, I wish Storm would have taken a little more actual concern when I raised the question. No one made the slightest effort to improve the food they were serving on the line. Went in at 630 on Wed for dinner. Sat down ordered a beer and appetizer. After 40 minutes I asked what what up, I was told there was allot of people and it was coming. It finally arrived and was cold and soggy. It was pretty clear it got forgot about. Honestly even with every table full no restaurant keeps people waiting that long for an appetizer. I ate it because I was really hungry but I didn't order a meal I cashed out and got a drive through sandwich on the way home. Could have been a better experience. read more

This place is losing its momentum. The last few times we've been our wings lacked any crunch and the amount of sauce on them wasn't even enough to distinguish the flavor we ordered. In an attempt to drive traffic they now have a lunch buffet for about 10 bucks. My first time at Wild Wings and I was disappointed. Ordered the wings sampler. The flavours we tried were China Syndrome (not hot at all), garlic galic garlic (good), honey lime sriracha (highly recommend), thai (do not risk trying it since it was just peanut butter over the wings) and gold rush (disappointing... no BBQ flavour at all). The only one we enjoyed was the Honey Lime Sriracha. So we ended up getting another full order with honey lime and the slayer (has a garlicy flavour with a kick and beats the garlic garlic garlic). We have been to Buffalo Wild Wings several times, so we kept comparing the wings. We will return just for the Honey Lime Sriracha. Otherwise I will be loyal customer to Buffalo Wild Wings. read more

Awesome. Wait time wasn't bad at all for being how far I was, and they delivered right to my rig when I was being loaded. The spicy levels were perfect and the side cup of atomic was awesome. 10/10 ya'll made a trucker very happy! Definitely will be ordering again when I'm in the area. Some companies wont deliver to our trucks not knowing it's our home on the road, your driver read the instructions and found my truck perfectly without having to call. I was thinking there was going to be a wait because the parking lot looked kind of full however when we went inside there was no wait! We were greeted and then sat us to our booth. I ordered the the wild chef salad, husband ordered the 12 traditional wings and kiddo got the sliders with fries. The wild chef salad was amazing! I ate it all!!! Kiddo loved the sliders. (Surprisingly the meat was juicy!). The only thing she did not eat was the fries because it was not "crunchy" enough for her. Hubby took care of it. It's like a moded out Barn. The wood worn interior is a tribute to sports figures and, aviation. They have a Stage for performances and Karaoke. Plenty of room on the floor on at the bar. Just the good ole' boys, never meanin no harm. TV's everywhere to keep you glued to the sky. The wings are being fired up by the choice of sauces. They have a a very good sauce and flavoring menu. With addition levels of Hot-Sauce. I tried the hottest listing. It was a slow intense burn. But, nothing where I thought I couldn't take it (I didn't get that level). The spinach dip was mostly grease and the chips were so stale they might as well have been cardboard. Plus they're out of half of the flavors of wings anyway. Pooler is just booming with restaurants lately and restaurants tend to be stepping up their service and food to exceed customers' expectations and Wild Wings Cafe is no different. The service here was exceptional. While the wait for the server to come over the first time was a little longer, after that, everything went smoothly. They have an awesome atmosphere here as well. Their patio area, which can be closed in, is fun to sit at. If you're not a fan of the patio, there is plenty of inside space with TVs for the latest sports. The food was really good as well. They have tons of flavors you can try and the two I tried (Ranchilada and Colorado Capers) were exceptional. They have really quality food here and an awesome staff. If you are in the mood for wings, this is definitely the place to stop by in Pooler! read more

Been here 5 times since we moved here. The wings are pretty good. The service has been good every time until tonight. We ordered wings and the spinach dip and they were served pretty promptly. We were going to order more wings but our waitress never came back. We asked another waitress to find her so we could reorder and she came back and couldn't find her either. After another wait, we asked another waitress to just bring us our check. The manager came to our table and apologized but she didn't offer to take anything off our check. To start off my experience, I was greeted with a smile and a friendly attitude from the Hostess. I was seated quickly , and within moments my server was taking my drink order. There is a wide variety of beers on draft as well as coke products. The beer was cold and came quickly despite there being a crowd at the bar. The queso dip was absolutely yummy, could have used a little more sour cream but overall it was great. I tried the Feathers, which are kind of like grilled nuggets, and the sauces I chose were Ragin Cajun and Colorado Copper. Both flavors were wonderful and have a lingering heat that surprised me. Two margaritas that taste like water, the buffalo blue salad was absolutely tiny and I got the wrong dressing (asked for blue cheese but got ranch) our waitress was perfect food got there quick. My wifes wings were fried and we don't really eat fried foods the menu didn't state it was fried. While it absolutely beats the hell out of Buffalo Wild Wings, it's certainly falls short on creative menu items that's for sure however it does the job. I'll break this down into a few category's: Environment, cleanliness, attitude, speed, food quality, and price. The environment is great if you go for a night of live music and bar food. Cleanliness is equivalent to any Savannah bar; a little dingy, tables are clean, but the floor is sticky and not well kept with particles of food littered about throughout the day. The attitude of the staff was positive, polite, and honest, their attitude gets 5 stars. The food was in a timely manner but the waitress was a bit slow, forgetful, and we sat with multiple empty drinks for the last half of our visit, but she was still polite and caring so she still got 20% tip because I understand tips are literally their living. The food quality was slightly below average, my wings tasted good, but they were tiny and it's hardly any meat, and after 18 wings I was still hungry, the other 2 dishes in our party were either dry chicken or overly greasy burgers. Way over priced for the overall experience, food, and quality of the establishment. 2 stars is a fair rating, and I personally would only return to watch a band on a Saturday night and have a couple of beers. read more

We live in Ludowici and travel to Pooler strictly for Wild Wing Cafe and Publix every few months. There are five of us so we usually spend a decent amount. I was disappointed today with the quality of the food but I have to say thank you so much to the two employees who helped me out. I guess it has been a while since we ordered take out and didn't realize there is a separate place around the side now instead of pick up at the bar. We had been driving back from Myrtle Beach and were exhausted and grabbing food to go for when we finally got home. I was standing around the bar like a dumbass for at least five minutes with no response from the bartender. I was starting to feel like an idiot but asked the gentleman waiting by the door to the kitchen to please help me . He was so kind and asked another young lady to help me get my food. I of course apologized for not realizing there was a new pick up location and they were both super nice and I really appreciated their help.
