We stopped in sunday night on the 21st for a drink. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were lured in by all the beer and decor of beer on the outside, and also it had food, and it was open late and in proximity.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We sat down at the bar, and the bartenders, Dani and Courtney, were on shift and exceptional. The food was ok its a bar, not a Michelin star restaurant, but it was great to have with that amazing selection of beers. They had beers from all over the world and a very impressive list. The menu they put in front of you does not contain the full list; you need to scan the barcode and look online. The best part of the night was having amazing bartenders who took the time, were not in a rush, and made sure everyone was enjoying their time. We will definitely be back and hope Dani and Courtney are there again.

Solid chain of World of Beer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can pretty much walk in here and sit where you want and find a beer that works.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm the type or person that enjoys finding local treasures so I tried 3 fails of samples of my own choosing before throwing myself at the bartender Sean's mercy and asking for help. His first recommendation was a home run. Honestly I don't know why I wasted his time trying my own crappy choices. The winner was the sweet water blue. Props to Sean too because he even offered to plop in some fresh blueberries. Winning!! My husband went with a tried and true trumer pils and then leffe blond. So it satisfied the itch but honestly nothing special.

I love this World of Beer location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's got a nice area to sit outside that is covered from the elements.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The inside bar is super long and has Lots of space. The name really says it all, It really is a world of beer. It's a great place to try beers from around the world or from your neighborhood. You could visit there for years and always have a different beer. They have some kinds of beer they always have and then they have a super long list of rotating beers. They have a super yummy big pretzel. And the salad are great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a fun relaxing environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

What a fun stop during our visit to Savannah. Located right on the Main Street amongst shopping and restaurants, the World of Beer is a cool spot for great bar food and drink options. We were able to take advantage of their Happy Hour and enjoyed drinks and a super delicious flatbread!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was great, we sat at the bar and the bar area was wonderfully decorated in a restored historic building.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Well done, I highly recommend.

Maybe this is a place where you just come for beer. I don't know, but the first two drinks I had tasted horrible so I opted for lemonade (which also tasted like lemon water, maybe they were out and didn't know it). The server was no fun and lacked everything we know servers to be. He was very blah the whole time almost like he didn't want us there or he didn't want to be there. Either way every encounter was a turn off. I'm glad after we looked at the menu for 20 minutes that we decided to split the French dip because It was the worst I've ever had! The meat had no flavor so you can assume that the au jus had none as well. The bread was soggy and wet (soggy bread is a big thing for me because I'm a texture type of person). Honestly the best thing was the fries but that isn't really saying much. I'd never come back here. Their menu is basic, the server and host were basic, the drinks were below basic and so was the food. There's too many restaurants/bars on Broughton to settle for this place.

Buy an air conditioning! Love the girls who serve the bar and the beer, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]it is way too hot in here for a hot day of shopping in Savannah Georgia.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The owner should know to do better and buy an air conditioning for the patrons of the bar and no one wants to eat in here when it's 100° inside and outside.

Corporate beer in the heart of downtown Savannah - was not impressed with selection of beer although plentiful - just not any of my favs The savior for me were the Mac & cheese bites - my new favorite in town

Ate here tonight and had a good experience. It was slow and the waiter was quick and friendly. The food was good and fresh. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was good and decorated nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will be back.

My partner and I came here today trying to get a good beer. I had the Blue Moon White Belgian and it was sooo refreshing and nice. We ordered the two tacos tacos Chicken and the Two tacos beef as shareable & they were full of Flavors. My partner had a Stella Artois & a different beet that had a tart flavor and he enjoyed both. We had the wings (Lemmon pepper & Parmesan garlic & they were both delicious. Our waitress was Alissa & she was very attentive, friendly and professional. We definitely recommend this place while visiting Savannah. Thanks Alissa!!!! We loved our visit while we're in Savannah

This might seem like just another place for beer, but they actually have really good food! The happy hour specials are wonderful. Monday is the best because they let you build a burger for under $8 as of December 2023. The burgers are very, very good. As are the fries. Beer selections are great, and they do offer half pints but you'll have to request them off menu. Service us very prompt even on busy days. The bar tenders will regularly step out from behind the bar to check in on you. Overall I'd return any time.

Stopped in for a break between stops! Atmosphere is nice not touristy even though I am touring! Lol! Tried the Mast Landing Gunners Daughter Nitro. Delicious choice for a girl who loves a dark chocolate peanut butter beer and her man light! Decided to rest the feet even though we are able to walk and drink! Woot woot! Definitely a recommend stop by for the friendliness and atmosphere and enjoy a cold beer too!

We always go to the Pooler location, and tonight was my first time at the downtown location. The downtown location is very well decorated with an awesome vibrant vibe--the live band tonight has a violinist, fancy! Here are things I don't like: 1) the beer list on the 2nd floor is extremely short. They don't even have Flat Tyre tonight. 2) I ordered fish and chips. It came out without the coleslaw. I asked about it and was told they just don't do coleslaw anymore even if it's clearly listed on the menu and should be included with fish & chips. I feel this might be a lie. They may have run out of it. Anyway, I think the explanation I got isn't acceptable. If they run out of coleslaw, just tell me the truth--I'm not a baby so I won't throw a tantrum over coleslaw. 3) they didn't put pretzel on the hanger, causing a very plain presentation and reducing the fun of ordering that giant pretzel. Everything on the food menu is $0.55 to $1.50 more expensive than the Pooler location--this is understandable, but I feel the food and service aren't as good as the Pooler location. P.S. Despite the "Red Hare" ads everywhere inside this place, I wasn't able to order one on the 2nd floor. Disappointed.

They probably only had food for Saint Patrick's day weekend. The food they had was pretty bad. We got an over salted over buttered pretzel. A below average cheese Burger and a below average super salty chilli dog. BUT the beer selection was good and the service was fast and friendly. Great option for a drink.

That search led me to The Olde Pink House--a magnificent historic mansion dating back to 1771, now home to one of Savannah's most memorable restaurants. The décor is beautiful, with antique furnishings, fireplaces, elegant woodwork, chandeliers, and enough historical character to make any ghost hunter feel immediately at home. The building is surprisingly large, with numerous dining rooms, each decorated and arranged differently. Exploring it feels almost like wandering through a well-preserved haunted mansion--though thankfully, the staff were much friendlier than the ghosts I had recently captured. The food was excellent, and everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered. I'm not usually much of a beer drinker, but I tried the Hostess City, a craft beer brewed exclusively for The Olde Pink House, and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Our server was wonderful, and we were even able to exchange ghost stories with them. We all had a good laugh, although I'm fairly certain one of the portraits nearby was laughing along with us. We arrived dressed entirely in black, and not a single person batted an eye. In Savannah, this is apparently considered perfectly respectable evening attire--or perhaps everyone simply assumed we were attending a funeral for one of the restless dead. After dinner, we asked whether we could explore the other sections of the restaurant, and we were told it would be no problem. We were able to visit the different dining rooms and examine the antiques and objects respectfully without disturbing the other guests. Be sure to visit the bar downstairs, Planters Tavern. It has a wonderfully haunted atmosphere, with brick walls, old-world décor, and a beautiful fireplace that must be especially inviting during the winter months. The basement's fireplaces were reportedly part of the home's original kitchen, which only adds to the feeling that the room remembers far more than it lets on. The Olde Pink House offers excellent food, beautiful surroundings, friendly service, and just enough supernatural atmosphere to keep a ghost hunter interested. I arrived looking for somewhere to recover from the night's haunting. I left well fed, pleasantly spirits-laden, and only mildly concerned that one of the ghosts may have followed me home.

Been here for both dinner and lunch. All this said, I think my approach to this review is comprehensive. With regard to food, I think they have a decent (not expansive) selection of food, which I think lends itself to quality. They do most things really well. This said, I do think there is inconsistency based on staff at the restaurant. On one occasion they have accommodated a request, and on another I was denied the exact same request. I found this frustrating. On one occasion I've also seen management talk down to staff here, which is a big no no for me. All people (especially staff) are due respect and this rubbed me the wrong way. This was an isolated incident but it definitely made my dining experience uncomfortable. Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. In the future, I would come to Rhett for convenience as a hotel guest (the hotel is lovely), but would likely not spend my money if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Overall- it's good food, decent ambiance... but there are soooo many good options in Savannah. You have to be exceptional to stand out in that city.
