We live in Ludowici and travel to Pooler strictly for Wild Wing Cafe and Publix every few months. There are five of us so we usually spend a decent amount. I was disappointed today with the quality of the food but I have to say thank you so much to the two employees who helped me out. I guess it has been a while since we ordered take out and didn't realize there is a separate place around the side now instead of pick up at the bar. We had been driving back from Myrtle Beach and were exhausted and grabbing food to go for when we finally got home. I was standing around the bar like a dumbass for at least five minutes with no response from the bartender. I was starting to feel like an idiot but asked the gentleman waiting by the door to the kitchen to please help me . He was so kind and asked another young lady to help me get my food. I of course apologized for not realizing there was a new pick up location and they were both super nice and I really appreciated their help. As someone who doesn't like large crowds and it was massively packed today, their kindness really went a long way. I wish I would have gotten their names, but thank you both very much!! read more

I go to this wild wings weekly. For three years all I've ever had was pleasant experiences but today was terrible. I go in at noon with my friend and when we sit down I ask them to turn on the braves game. An hour later the braves game still isn't on. Not to mention I didn't get one refill, was over charged for my fries and a side of ranch that I didn't even order. Also, the waitress took the plate out from under me while I was eating. Two stars is merely for a flavor of wings I always enjoy (Wild West) otherwise I'd be more apt for something along the lines of zero --- and this makes me very sad. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a Diet Coke and placed an order to go. I was ignored in favor of apparent friends at the bar where shots of rum and whiskey and wine were topped off in glasses without charge. I ordered 18 all flats well done to go and settled in for the hockey game on TV. I had to remind the bartender to check on my order approximately 32 minutes after placing it --- and apparently he forgot because the wings were not even warm upon arrival ---- and to make matters worse the 18 was actually 15 and made up of more drumsticks than flats. Total failure. Dear management --- hire honest bartenders more concerned with correct orders and service than giving out free booze to their bar fly friends. read more

Just finished lunch here. It took a long time to be seated with only 1 party in front us with several empty tables in the restaurant. Once we got seated by the hostess it took a bit for that waitress to show up. She did apologize. But we got the feeling she didn not really meant it. It took a bit for the food to come out. I had 12 wings and my wife had a wrap. They had sat us next to the kitchen so we saw people going in and out of the kitchen and saw them going to tables who apparently were seated a lot sooner than us. My wings were ok. I am glad I ordered a dozen because they were small. My wife's wrap was mainly rice which I don't recommend anyone to pay $8 for. read more

Have been enjoying Wild Wing since the early 90s. Have always thought they were the best wings on the planet particularly at the Blufton and Hilton Head SC locations. Had a really bad experience at the Pooler GA location tonight. Took three attempts to get the wings just OK. First attempt they weren't cooked properly, second attempt they were the wrong flavor. This entire event took forever. When the bill came it was full price. Manager Patrick refused to take anything off the bill, said he wasn't going to give me any free stuff!! This isn't the first time I've had issues with this location and the City Market Savannah GA location. read more

If I'm only giving stars for the food it would be a 4 for a wings place. A great variety I like the Wild West wings. If I'm giving this place stars on service it would be a 1 maybe a 2 ...sometimes. Not sure what's going on here but I we waited an hour for our food and it came out "warmish" you could tell it had been sitting a while and if you want beer with your wings you can hang it up after the first one. We walked in the door at 11:57 to someone leaning across the counter they gave me a head node holding up two fingers, so I shook my head in agreement. He takes us to a able without saying a word so we wait.......and wait.....oh yeah We are still WAITING. It's now 12:18 and I have watched as 6 waitress walked passed us without acknowledgement, now I understand that it's late but I wasn't going to complicit their life we just wanted a order of wings and fries. Great selection of wings, burgers and chicken sandwiches. Try the Sriracha nachos. I've had them twice and love them. During lunch there is a small buffet with soups, wings, strips, tots and fries. It's a fair value and a great option if you need to get in and out quick for lunch. read more

I came here on a Thursday night to watch a little football and have a beer and some dinner. I arrived around 6:45 pm. I was alone on a business trip. I sat at the bar. They had live entertainment that was very good. I was not impressed with the bar staff. They were very short with me and I always had to ask for another beer. No one ever recognized my empty glass and offered another. I was told Katlin was tending the bar area. When I first arrived they were very busy and I understood why she was so short with me. But by 8:30 the bar was mostly empty and the tables were half full. I sat next to a couple that were from the area and the wife was a bartender and she agreed that the service was poor at best. I ordered my boneless wings and about five minutes later the couple next to me ordered. They got their food about 10 minutes before I got mine. All I ordered was boneless wings and fries. Katlin did not seem to care that it took so long to get my order. After my order came I finally expressed my displeasure with her service. A few minutes later the manager, Eric, came over. What a great guy. He was very nice and was willing to listen to me. He understood my issue and apologized for the situation. He was a stand up guy. The food was actually very good. Eric came over again to make sure everything was good. In summary I would say give this place a try. Management cares about what is going on and the food is good. They are a bartender away from a 5 star rating. read more

MNF and MLB playoffs at Wild Wing Cafe in Pooler. Great atmosphere. Servers all very busy, but they kept up with everyone. No surprised with this place, you know what you are going to get as far as food and drinks go. Great sportsbar. Major plus goes to the fantasy football draft package that I booked back before the season. We are still drinking on the beer tickets that we collected for the draft party. Worst wings I have ever had, I would give it no stars if I could. I ordered medium wings and was really excited to get my hands on them. When they came they smelled like the medium sauce I've had countless times before, but when I picked one up, there was nothing on it. There was no taste, no heat whatsoever, and the bottom of my dish had half an inch of grease (shown in the picture). I've had medium wings at other bars before and they've been hot enough that l drink multiple glasses of water. These wings I had tonight literally tasted like plain chicken. My waitress didn't come back to ask how the food was so I couldn't send it back and get something else. I only ate 2 of the 12 wings I was served and boxed the rest so I could take a picture of the grease that they were soaked in because I lost my appetite. Food was very good. Service was very good. The band was very good and we had a positive experience until the bill came. I ordered the chicken feathers which came with one "extra". So I turned the page to the "extras". There was a list of different types of potatoes such as tots, steak fries, shoe string fries, chips, etc. Broccoli, Mac & cheese and the like. I ordered the shoe string fries. The waitress asked if I wanted blue cheese or ranch with that. I said blue cheese. When the bill came it showed $1.99 extra for the shoe string fries and $0.50 extra for the blue cheese. It's not a lot of money but the menu makes no distinction between shoe string or steak fries or broccoli or Mac and cheese. Also I was asked blue cheese or ranch not would you like to "add" blue cheese or ranch. (It was blue cheese or "something" not sure it was ranch). Again, it's not the money, it's the deception. If there is an up charge for shoe string fries then they should be listed separately or footnoted. read more

I have been here three times and those were three times too many. Every time I have been here something has gone wrong. The most recent visit was the worst. There were barely any customers, maybe half the place was filled, we did not get our drink order for 15 minutes after being seating. Our waitress walked by multiple times and didn't even acknowledge us. We had to stop her and ask her to take our order. She did apologize but I mean after walking by us for 15 minutes you would have thought she could have figured it out. When we finally got our food which took OVER AN HOUR to get we had to send on plate back because of a hair in the sauce. Really turned us off on ever returning to any of its locations. read more

Wild wing cafe has a nice ambiance bar feel. Live music from time to time on weekends. We arrived and got seated fast. Took a little bit of time for our server to show up and greet us get drinks and then our order. I ordered an 8 piece boneless wing in gold rush and Thai. My husband got a 12 piece boneless wing with honey Sriracha and hot wing. When we got our food the sauces were hot but the food wasn't really hot (temperature) it was kinda like it was sitting out for a while. I chose to meet my wife and sons on a friday for lunch We went with this location, because they have a buffet, and would presumably be fast as I was on my lunch break. Soon entering the "buffet was nearly empty other than a few dried out wings . We asked and were told they were about to replenish. After taking our seats, some fresher wings were put out when three...we'll just say larger people loaded the plates they already had, with mounds of wings. What was left couldn't be taken, because of the lack of clean plates. As time pressed on I ordered from the menu, in an attempt to eat something before returning to work. After almost 20 min, my wife told, who I think was a manager I needed my food. She checked, and said were busy, and it's only been in for 10 min.
