This was my first visit to the Oak Brook location for Wildberry and this place did not disappoint. Although the parking lot that is dedicated to Wildberry is significantly tiny. We were there on a Sunday morning and were able to park in the other parking lots for the other businesses as well When we came in on Sunday morning, there was no way or line so we seated immediately which was fantastic and our server was incredible. She definitely had a lot of energy, super personable and patient with us as well. The food came out super fast and piping hot, which is exactly how I like it. Nothing disappointed everything was super tasty and delicious. What I think is great about this location is that even when it did get busy and crowded something about the acoustics in the set up here did not make it as loud as a location in Schaumburg I would definitely be coming back here again as it is super consistent with the quality of food and the pricing read more

I think this restaurant is a nice addition to the area. Much better than Egg Harbor down the street. When you enter, to the right is a small dining area with about 8 booths and 3 tables in the center. To the left is a coffee bar with pastries ~ must be crazy busy on a work morning. Host/hostess stand directly in front of you. You will turn to the left and there is a very large. VERY LOUD dining area and a patio area that canned be closed off. Now, the ceiling is glass so the place gets very warm and on a hot day I don't know any diner that wants to be seated so the sun is beating down on them. This issue results in, understandably, empty booths and tables. Depending on the time of day, the reception area can be blindingly bright. Be aware that the restroom situation is single rooms/gender neutral (I think 5 rooms) and I waited quite a while just to wash my hands. Service was friendly, quick. Portions are generous and food is very good. Lots of staff scurrying around so I suggest you would be more comfortable seated away from a high traffic area. Parking is a nightmare unless you arrive close to closing time. read more

Heard this location opened not too long ago, so we decided to check it out. There were quite a few people waiting inside, and unfortunately the online waitlist wasn't working. We ended up waiting about 10 minutes before getting seated. The decor inside is very nice -- earthy and modern. It does feel like they tried to fit in as many tables as possible, which makes it a bit tight for servers and staff to move around, especially when it's busy. I ordered the iced vanilla berry latte and it was a 10/10. I've had it before and it never disappoints -- mostly vanilla with a subtle hint of berry that isn't overpowering. I also got the fresca omelet and it was delicious. The tomatoes really made the dish, and the mozzarella and basil tied everything together perfectly. The hash browns were just okay -- I asked for extra crispy, but some pieces were still undercooked. The other omelets at the table were very good as well. We were surprised at how much seating there was, we didn't have to wait for a table at lunch time during the week. A couple Saturdays ago, I came with my mom. We've been anticipating this Wildberry opening since we saw it being built. It's airy and modern inside. The seating is a little close, but it works for the type of restaurant it is. We ordered the Blueberry Danish Pancakes, Oreo S'mores Pancakes, Barbacoa Chilaquiles Skillet, Honey Cinnamon Latte, & Gingerbread Chai Latte. Everything was delicious (I did need to add a little salt to my chilaquiles, but not much)! I finished every bite. This is the third location (I know of) so I was expecting average. When I took my first sip of the chai, I knew I was going to be pleased. Our server was attentive and conversational too! I appreciated her because that's not easy to do on a packed day. Another thing I noted was while you're waiting for a table, you can order a latte/coffee and small bite at the cafe intentionally placed where you walk in. Smart! My only critique is a possibility of booking too many tables at once. We added ourselves to the waitlist and were notified that the table was ready, but still had to wait an extra 10 minutes. This location is new to Oak Brook and it's already at 5 stars. Normally I figure newly open restos need some time to get the kinks out, not here! I highly recommend utilizing their waitlist via Yelp on weekends. Our group of 3 dined in at 11:30am and it was sardine crammed packed. Luckily we placed ourselves in line before getting there and waited a whole 5 minutes. The space is designed similar to other wildberrys'. This might be my favorite 1 though. It feels more spacious and has lots of natural lighting. Service was consistent, timed out well, and staff members were friendly and kind. Luis their GM is a familiar face from their Schaumburg location and now runs this one instead. He's awesome! Pricing here is on the premium side when compared to other breakfast places, something to keep in mind. I started with the hazelnut latte (decaf with almond milk). It was creamy, nutty and the perfect way to start my morning. For food I had the signature berry bliss crepes and made a few modifications to it (no mascarpone and add pecans). Very delicious! Second visit to Oakbrook location. Wife had oatmeal and gave it her highest rating. I had avocado toast with two poached eggs and lots of thick bacon. The two poached eggs atop the bountiful guacamole and bacon were perfect! The red pepper amount was perfect, though it would be even better with some 'Everything but the Bagel' shake, in my opinion. Our server seemed a tad nervous, almost 'hovering,' but she was certainly attentive and efficient. My only complaint was that our booth caught the frigid blasts when the main door was opened. Nice texture, but slight unusual aftertaste compared to other gluten free batters I have tried. Omelet was very nice sized! Tried the Napa Valley Fig Omelet special. Lots of figs which made the bites too sweet for my preference. Generous portion of hash browns. Asked for more crisp on mine than usual. Kitchen just does routine over and over as my request was ignored. Plain Belgian waffle and brioche French toast were both excellent. As soon as we walked in I felt like we were being looked a type of way because of how we were dressed , and how it didn't look like the typical type of dressing for a place like this . Apart from that our service was not the best I ordered Nutella crepes and eggs Benedict and the crepes had a jelly consistency. The English muffin are so bulky and not like actual English muffins if that helps describe it. I was observing and seen servers treating other guests w good service until it came to me and my friend. Stopped in for Sunday brunch around 10am. There's plenty of parking, which is nice, but fair warning this place fills up fast. We arrived around 10:15 and by the time we left around 11:15, the wait list had gotten hectic. Definitely a popular brunch spot, so plan accordingly. Place is seems bigger with more space. Food-wise, I ordered the brisket skillet. It was tasty and cooked well, but I wished it had a bit more flavor punch. Still a solid choice. We also added pancakes which are pretty much a must here and ordered eggs any style with hash browns and bacon. Everything came out hot and well-presented. I'll admit, I've been spoiled by the Wildberry locations downtown Chicago and in Schaumburg, where I always ordered the corned beef hash and it was consistently perfect. I was honestly a little disappointed to see it removed from the menu here -- that was a favorite. Drinks deserve a shoutout too. The green juice and beet juice are both very good and refreshing just know they carry natural sugars, so keep that in mind if you're watching intake. Overall, I'd give this Oak Brook location a solid 3 stars. Good brunch option with crowd appeal, but come prepared for waits. This place was bumping!!! We went for brunch on a Sunday morning. We checked in on yelp, loved that option, and waited about 25 minute. Luckily the restaurant was huge and the staff was a well oiled machine. Once we sat down our sever was so pleasant, got our order, and our food came out in a timely manner. I had two eggs anyway, I picked two over easy. The best part of my whole meal was the homemade veggie patties! Wildberry is back for me! I used to go here all the time when I lived closer to Schaumburg and we loved it so much. We moved further south and haven't been able to go as often, but really there is no better breakfast and brunch place in the suburbs than Wildberry. The new Oak Brook location is so beautiful. The seating has large windows and I can't wait until the weather gets better. It looks like the windows open up all the way and it will have an indoor/outdoor seating. Also, it looks like the back room can be closed off for private parties? That would be great. Also, one of our favorite Schaumburg employees is now the GM at this location. I love to see that Wildberry invests in their employees. Overall, just so happy they're closer and the food is just as good as I remember. My daughter always get the Chipotle Salad. I came for brunch with family and it was excellent! This is a new location and I'm so glad we tried it! Great addition in Oak Brook. I ordered the barbacoa chilaquiles and it was stellar! Freshly cooked chips fried to perfection, tender and well seasoned barbacoa along with a side of avocado. This was served with pancakes that smelled divine but I was too stuffed to indulge! I also had some delicious green juice for a healthy start to the day and it was exquisite. I will say they give you plenty of food for the price and you will have leftovers which is nice. Customer service was top notch! I don't remember my server but she was so lovely and made it a great experience. One tip, put your name on the waitlist when you think you and your party will arrive. We really enjoy Wildberry Cafe--great omelettes, delicious Eggs Benedict with ham off the bone, excellent service, and a modern, clean atmosphere. Two reasons for losing a star: First, the main dining room is extremely loud, making conversation difficult. Second, the "English muffins" are more like thick hamburger buns--simply not what you expect. I appreciate creativity, but when a restaurant makes English muffins part of its signature, they should deliver the real thing. This version just misses the mark for me. read more

We expressed our displeasure though of no fault of our wonderful server. She, in turn, notified a manager who did come over with apologies and recommendation that we return on a weekday when it's not so noisy. I went with the Southern Benedict and wifey ordered the scrambler and pancakes to be delivered after she completed her first meal. Which was brought accordingly. The Southern Benedict was tasty with its s savory gravy. The biscuits that the eggs laid on top of seemed mass produced, flat, not spongy but thick and disappointing. This was not my 1st choice for breakfast but my other half thought it would be good...definitely an understatement. The exterior decor dictated a good time was ahead. Upon entering a friendly lady, Dani(?), greeted us and told us she was waiting for a person 2 take us to our seat( I didn't get his name but he was nice as well). A friendly, cool server came by the booth within 20 seconds and said her name was Ty and she would be serving us. She took our drink order and came back within 2 minutes. They don't offer flavored creamer, minor issue. I ordered the barbacoa chilaquiles with egg whites and rye bread = insanely tasty. Ty warned me that it had a spicy kick which was perfecto for me. My other half ordered 2 eggs, hash browns, pancakes, veggie patties which he stated was on point. The decor was inviting, relaxing, tranquil, bathroom was clean(they had 3 non-gendered bathroom), music was great, even other servers spoke and wished us a great day...the entire experience was top notch.
