    brisked meat in a basket

For being out of no where in Suches, GA. This place has really good BBQ. I got the 1lb brisket to go when I was staying at the Getaway cabins across the street. They only open 4 days a week. The owner is very nice and told us all the nearby trails we can go to. The brisket itself as a bit on the dryer side, but the flavor is there. If you are traveling on this road and is hungry, I highly recommend to stop by if they are open.

This place is awesome!!!!! We stumbled across it since we were staying at the Getaway cabins right down the road and this was an epic find. Totally in the middle of nowhere but well worth the visit. People were nice and the food was delicious. Great BBQ feel to the place and lots of great BBQ sauces to choose from. We ate here on a Saturday afternoon after a long hike around 3pm and it was pretty busy! Highly recommend

Such a cute little store & restaurant! I stayed at the Getaway cabins across from here and it was great having them right across the street. Food was amazing, the store is so cute and the employees were beyond nice & helpful.

They have some of the best ribs I have had in a long time. I've now been here a couple of times. The first time was just ok but my last visit was great. I like their hot bbq sauce made with ghost peppers. Not to hot for me :)))

Chopped chicken sandwich, collard greens, and a sweet tea.

On this visit, I had a chopped chicken sandwich, collard greens, and sweet tea. The food is very consistent and always hits the spot. The staff is friendly (Terry and Bill). I hear the brisket sandwich is the most popular item on the menu. They are normally closed on Monday and Tuesday.

This place was great for us and very convenient to the Airbnb we rented for spring break. The area is very rural and you're basically on a small mountain side, but if we are ever in the area again, we would stop. I do recommend. This is exactly what the name says. No surprises. It's an old country store and diner. There are jams, desserts, sodas, some cold deli items available on hand and then there's a diner portion that's more of a bbq. The seating was enough for my big family, booth style with plenty of sauces, condiments, plastic ware, and napkins. The food was great! I had the chicken plate, some of my kids had wings, my husband had the catfish and shrimp plate, and the baby had some stew and fries. All the food came out fresh tasting and hot! The service was very good and attentive. The portions were plentiful. I tried a slice of strawberry cake and fried apple pie for dessert. The cake didn't taste 100% homemade, but better than any store bought. The apple pie was 3/5 star. It looked and tasted homemade, but was more on the dry side. The seating inside is small. There are plenty of picnic tables with umbrellas or covered porch to sit under.

Brisket sandwich and baked beans and across is pulled pork plate with baked beans and Brunswick stew

The service is wonderful. The brisket and pork sandwiches are awesome. The sweet bbq sauce is really good and the hot is really really hot but manageable. But the hit is also a slow burn so be. Careful. The x chicken in the chicken sandwich was dry ‍ which didn't seem in par with every else so maybe it was just that day. The boiled peanuts were ok. I like mine super salty and these were not. But a good snack if you want boiled peanuts. A but overcooked as well but that's to be expected when sitting in a pot all day. I will be back and anyone in the area should give this place a try.

Full rack of ribs- the best in the state of GA

The food here is always amazing, especially the ribs. The owners are super nice, friendly, and very welcoming. Last time we were here we only got few bones of the ribs bc they had ran out. Last month we almost drove here all the way from Suwanee just to get some ribs. Today we got full rack of ribs and it was sooo good I almost died. I'm a foodie and the ribs here are the best that we've had in GA! Thank you

My friends and I had a great time and loved our quirky and knowledgeable server. It's clear that the beer list is expertly crafted, and the cocktails are balanced without being too sweet. I had the grapefruit rosemary margarita while one of my friends tried the special open cask offering. Now, lets get into the food...specifically the FRIES. The apps and entrees we ordered were so good, yet nothing holds a candle to those super crispy fries and the Belgian aioli that comes alongside. Literally, everything was good (shoutout to the beef tartare, goat cheese fritters, tuna melt, smash burger, and crispy chicken sandwich) but I doubled back to get an extra order of fries to go. They are that good. Great experience!

The next time in 2024 when I was in the area, they were closed for a remodel. Today was the day. The beer selection was fantastic and so was the food. I got the pork sandwich with greens on top. It was delicious, but it could've not had juices leaking so much? Maybe cheese below and above the meat to try to keep some of the juices off the bun or maybe more bun toasting? The fries were amazing and I should've gotten the aolie initially, but didn't get it until I saw another table with an order. It was delicious. The service was very good. The server had good knowledge of the beers, food, and was friendly. This is one of the best beer bars in the US. The Atlanta area is fortunate to have two killer beer bars, the other being the Brick Store Pub in Decatur.

The ambience was electric, with the arena lights washing over the heraldry and banners as the knights rode in with fearless precision. The tournament outcome was a thrilling highlight: yellow red won the tournament in a triumph of speed, strategy, and daring, and the crowd roared with every daring maneuver, making the celebration afterward utterly infectious. Regarding the competitors, the Black White contestant delivered a performance that felt less bold in that round, and that moment resonated with the crowd as a reminder that bravado and risk-taking can be the deciding factors in the arena. The overall experience was delightful and hearty, satisfying food, attentive service, and staff who stayed deeply immersive in their roles, all contributing to a truly immersive, family-friendly escape into a world of chivalry and spectacle. None of us had ever been before, so we didn't fully know what to expect -- but it ended up being such a memorable Sunday evening. We were able to get the group discount (if you have 15+ guest), and tickets came out to about $57 per person after taxes and fees, which felt reasonable for dinner and a show. We were originally scheduled for January, but had to reschedule due to the two "winter storms" we had -- the process was smooth and hassle-free, which we appreciated thanks to Wendy the Group Ticket Rep. We all decided to dress up, which honestly made the experience 10x more fun. If you're planning to going, I highly recommend getting into character. The show was about 1.5 hours long and kept everyone entertained the entire time. Even though our team lost (still a little salty about that ), the energy, cheering, and crowd involvement made it a blast. The food was better than expected! The chicken was surprisingly juicy, and the corn was actually the standout of the meal. Everything was served hot and fresh. Shout out to our Server i believe her name of Melissa or Melanie. She played along with wondering what "utensils" were when I was using them during the meal. Overall, it was such a fun group outing and perfect for celebrations. Definitely a great experience, especially if you've never been before!
