Went here tonight for ladies night out there was only 10 of us, but the waiter ( Kai ) was absolutely outstanding having just had a bad experience the day before at a different restaurant. I was totally amazed with his presence. He kept our orders right gave us separate checks , He was just absolutely amazing . we had reservations so he knew the count ahead of time and as soon as the first two ladies showed up, he went ahead and brought water for the whole table was ready with a bowl of lemons. I had the fillet tip risotto and I would not order that again. You can even tell there was meat or arugula in it. It was just more risotto with a spoonful of Demi glaze. Hands down worse food west of the Mississippi. The steaks are absolutely garbage low quality. They can't even make a good cheeseburger. Unfortunately I've been here multiple times and now I have made the decision to never come back. People that are posting good reviews on here need to venture out. Such a wonderful dinner!! Daughter graduated high school so we had her grad dinner at Wildfire. When we got there we were seated right away. Staff was very friendly!! Everything we ordered was amazing and everyone enjoyed their food!! I had the filet mignon I sub the risotto for the cheddar mashed potatoes it was cooked perfectly steak was like butter !! Came with asparagus very good. My mother-in-law had the ribeye she loved she said it was so juicy and tender. My Cousin had the chicken piccata and it was served with broccolini and mashed potatoes she said it was so good. My daughter that was graduating had the mushroom pizza she loved it so it taste amazing. For apps we ordered a pretzel and truffle mac & cheese and bruschetta. We all loved it it was so good specially the pretzel I think that was my favorite. For dessert we ordered the butter cake & chocolate cake. Butter cake was the best dessert ever. It is definitely over hyped ! It is not as good as they say.. I ordered the NY steak, asparagus and the white cheddar mash. Asked for the steak medium rare it was over cooked, Asparagus was not cooked and the potatoes were good ! But when you spend 47$ on your steak meal the steak should have been priority. My husband got the waygu burger asked for medium rare and it was burnt on the outside and over cooked on the inside.. We did order drinks at the bar since our wait was 2 HOURS ! We stayed by choice LOL ! But had we known how the food was we might of just had drinks. Our server was amazing ! He was very sorry even though we know it wasn't his fault! If they used shredded cheese instead of a using a single slice on top and offer a side of toast with the meal, then it would be so much better and complete. My partner got the brunch pizza and that was nearly perfect as well - just needs a drizzle of aioli across the top or some other sauce that can tie it all together better. Friendly and nice staff. Food came out fast. Clean but dark restaurant. Loved all the TVs. Made it a good spot to watch Sunday football. Probably an even cooler place at night. It was a party of 9 on a Thursday night . We are not from the Modesto we were with other family members from out of town . I found this restaurant on Yelp made reservations and it was perfect . Walking in we got greeted by the nice hostess. The inside is big, clean and very nice ! They have a bar area in the front . There is TV's to watch sports . They have nice restrooms with changing tables . They also have high chairs and a kids menu so definitely kid friendly. Our waiter was Selena not sure if I'm spelling right . She was super nice and attentive. A gentleman name Mike checked on us frequently and was very attentive and nice . The service was above and beyond really nice . I checked in to Yelp and it said I got a free pretzel for checking in !! sweet ! The pretzel was huge and very tasty. We had some drinks my husband got one that was on fire called Chili Mangorita . The food was delicious I got the Golden Beet Salad with Roman lettuce and added chicken so good . My hubby got the Chicken Piccata he loved it and I agree he gave me a taste and it was very delicious. My two sons got kids meals they are great portions . We loved the food . With reservations, we still waited an additional 30 minutes and got to the table, only to find it still dirty. They made us wait an additional 5 minutes. I got the braised short ribs with mashed potatoes and broccolini. My mashed potatoes were from a box not homemade I can tell the difference it had a grainy taste to them. My daughter got the Mediterranean wrap but we had to send it back because we found a hair in it they were polite and brought her something different but it would've been nice if management offered to comp that meal off the bill. I stopped into Wildfire Public House this past Wednesday at 9:45 PM, literally right before last call, and I was blown away by how exceptional the service was. You would have thought I walked in at 5pm on a Friday--no rushing, no attitude, just genuine hospitality from start to finish. Michael, the GM, set the tone immediately. His energy, professionalism, and warmth made the whole experience feel welcoming, even that late. He checked in with us personally and made sure everything came out perfect. Jayton was equally impressive--attentive, friendly, and on top of every detail. Even though it was close to closing, he treated us like VIPs, never once making us feel like we were keeping the staff late. And the food? Unreal. Fresh, flavorful, and plated beautifully. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in everything that leaves the window. Every dish tasted like something you'd come in because of--not just something you settle for late at night. It's rare to find a place that combines phenomenal food with service that feels this sincere and consistent. Wildfire has officially earned a regular out of me. This place is solid. I had read the reviews the night before and had to try it out. My wife and I came in for lunch and we both had great meals. They have a 2 for $18 lunch. I had the Cobb Salad and the Bahn Mi sandwich. The Cobb was LOADED with goodies. My wife had the Asian salad and the Spicy Chicken sandwich. She loved them. We did the Yelp check in and got a free pretzel that took up the entire table! Kathy, our server, was excellent. Very gracious and helpful and came around at just the right times. I noticed the owner walking around checking the place and talking to guests. I recognized him from his photograph on social media. John Ismail is his name and he is an awesome man. Came over to ask how we were doing. We had a nice conversation with him and you can tell that John takes pride in his restaurant, inside and out.
