Sunday we hosted a brunch on site for any guests still in the area. Esthetics wise, it is the perfect rustic style venue, but feels very elegant as well. The grounds are well maintained. The saloon on site was perfect for an after party. Our photos came out beautifully with the different backgrounds around the venue (shoutout Morgan Peña SimplyMoPhotography). Catering: HANDS DOWN BEST WEDDING FOOD. 2025, we went to 9 total weddings. Everyone raved about the food at ours. It was a step above. They need to learn how to sanitize linens and not just add fragrance to cover up the smell. Also in desperate need of a handy man - windows were stuck and wouldn't open, the one that did lacked a screen, lightbulbs burned out. Lights shine into the room overnight (should be on timer or get some decent drapes). Went down to the event space and found the light switch - not a big deal but shouldn't be the guest's responsibility. Would visit for an event but would not stay there again. Similar complaints from other retreat attendees about the state of their rooms & bunkhouse.
