Kind tucked away in the Albertson's center, but well worth finding! They have just about everything. Plus it's easier to find what you do want! I love this store! They are always friendly, help you find exactly what you need, and have a lot of cool, unexpected items if you're looking for something different for a last minute gift. Today, I was 50 cents short, and I had inadvertently left my debit card in a different pocket (so embarrassing!) The cashier covered it for me! This really is a neighborhood store. Now that they have remodeled their store is much easier to navigate and offers grater options. The staff have appeared to have improved as well. The employees seem much more knowledgable now, or at least provide that knowledge much quicker. When in a pinch I go to get the parts I need unless I need bulk. If you need bulk you are better off with a HD. read more

The five stars are for Norm Dart the salesman who is amazingly helpful. The first two salespersons I asked where the hangers for the roller shades were: I don't think we carry them from the lady and maybe on aisle 11 from the man. But Norm saw I couldn't find them and took me right to them. That's the service I love about Ace Hardware. The other two not so much. I would give them a one star for breathing. read more

So, I've shopped this store many times, actually one of my favorite due to the hardware selection. Two weeks ago I spent about $200.00. Being a disabled combat veteran, I usually receive a 10% discount, I also had a $10.00 birthday card from Ace. The cashier was impatient and rude when I asked why she couldn't give the veteran's discount. She told me she could only give the $10.00 card, so I lost the advantage of using the vet discount. I wrote the store, but told them not to contact me, though a note of apology might have keep me as a customer. The floor guys were great on each of my visits, just pissed about being given attitude. read more

I was at the Habitat for Humanity Restore where they were selling Ace brand base paint that is untinted. It was donated to them by Ace. We went to this location to see how much it would be to have the paint tinted and were informed that they won't do it. I feel like Ace tricked the Restore into taking their paint so they didn't have to properly discard it. My husband called Sherwin Williams and they said they would tint the paint for free even though it is not their brand ..they just wouldn't be able to guarantee it. I will never shop at Ace again. How are they helping a company by making a donation that they can't use? read more

Fantastic! The people who work there are very helpful - much more than the big box stores of Home Depot and Lowe's. I needed to repair a toilet and I am NOT a plumber. I went into Ace and they not only stepped me through the process of the repair they made sure I had all I needed to make repair. The repair was more complicated then I originally planned and through each step the people at Ace were helpful and very nice. Will he going here instead of those other so called home improvement stores. read more

The customer service at this Ace Hardware is exemplary. They didn't have in stock a birdbath that was on sale but the manager (I'm assuming) gave us a great deal on two birdbaths she had in stock. I thought she was going to discount only one but she said we could take both if we wanted. We'll definitely be patronizing this store in the future. read more

I came in yesterday to buy a tool box that was advertised for a specific price. As soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted by the lady at the cash register and asked if I needed any help finding something. At that time, I thought I could find it on my own so continued to look throughout the store. A little later, I came across a gentleman named Rick (I believe that was his name) who was quick to help me. He informed me that they ran out the tool box I wanted but stated that he could sell me another tool box (that was at a higher price) for the advertised price that I wanted, since his manager had previously approved it. I thought it was great that this store did their best to honor the advertised price of the tool box I wanted. Rick and another employee also helped me to my car, since the tool box was very heavy. I really appreciated the great customer service at this store. I don't think I would have received the same service at another hardware store. I will definitely be back again! read more

Do not buy paint here! I had them match my paint with a sample I brought from home. The paint was no where near the same color. Before buying the paint the manager said I could return it and so did the associate working the paint dept. the manager would not honor an exchange or return. This store is overpriced and their customer service is poor. Stick to Home Depot and lowes. read more

These folks go the extra mile when you need help. I had purchased a colapsable hose from them last September. It has a 1 year warrenty, but I only had the hose..no receipt. The floor person emailed the mfg. and initiated a replacement order. These folks are great..!!! read more

Even though I live walking distance from Lowes, I ended up driving all the way to Wildomar to Ace Hardware. I had the best service from Rick and Norm. They were both super knowledgeable and asked questions about my home project that I had not thought of. The big DIY stores are good if you need paint or to pick up a tool, but if you need really good customer service go to Ace Hardware. These guys are professional, courteous and super willing to help. read more

Ace won me over today with outstanding customer service provided by "Will". Previously I went to both Lowes & Walmart to get a copy of a key made. MinuteKey at Lowes made a key that did not work and Walmart did not have a blank that matched. I came to Ace and met Will who went way above and beyond to work out a software issue with the key recognition application. Will was both personable and tenacious as he spent a lot of time working to get the machine to work properly. I honestly expected him to give up and I would once again be on my way searching for someone to simply duplicate an "unusual" key. Fortunately Will kept at it until he got the device to work properly. He found the right blank, made my key, and I have now tested it and it works perfectly. Surprised the cost was only 2 bucks, whereas Minutekey was 3. So Ace wins across the board: quality, value, and best of all fantastic customer service. Thank you Ace and thank you Will.
