My car was still filthy after being washed. Half of the vacuums do not work. Will not be going there again. Went to get my car washed, they no longer pre spray with a pressure hose like they used which would loosen the accumulated dirt and such which is the main reason I got the car washed. Then on top of that the blow dry didn't even get close to blowing off most of the water, had to completely dry everything by hand. Used to do a very good job of pre-soaking cars, cleaning cars and drying them. As of today I will not be going back. Not only do they do a poor job but the price is now almost equal to a full service wash that would have taken care of the car and actually cleaned the car instead of just getting it wet. read more

My car has been dirty forever and I remembered there was a car wash near the Stater Bros that I sometimes shop at. This place was simple and easy, just sit in your car and enjoy the machines doing all the work. There's different washes to choose from, I don't really care that much about my car so I picked the cheapest, less than $10. They are also able to do Apple Pay and even though they had to physically hold your phone, the guy let's you watch him as he goes through the transaction. read more

Employees helpful and friendly! This carwash in located in the parking lot of Stater Bros grocery store, but area has its own entrance / exit. The grocery store receipts used to have $1 off coupons on the back, but I haven't seen them in a while. Shares same space with 76 gas station; entrances/exits off both Baker and Fairview. I usually get the basic (good) wash, which is now $6 (comes with standard moist, individually wrapped, disposable towelette) and the vacuum stalls are located both before and after the tunnel wash zone. Attendants tape the back windshield wiper, if needed. Gift cards are available, you can save some money by purchasing if you are frequent patron. I bought the $95 Wildwater Express card (paid $75) for myself and some family members. DO NOT GO!!! Went through WildWater Express Carwash for the first time on 10/27 and it will be my last! The carwash pulled off my wheel molding and scratched the top of the wheel. Part of my car was left in the car wash. I addressed it with the gal who was working and she said they do not have forms for damage and that she would take my info. I didn't trust them so I asked for the owners email. She said the owner would look at the footage and get back to me. Great! So I emailed, sent the pictures and asked him to look at the video which would clearly show, wheel molding on securely and no scratch. However...response was "video shows wheel molding loose..not our problem! " Talk about poor customer service! No attempt to meet me look at the issue or even a comprise! Upset with quality and service. Had a sucked up garage fob and they were extremely unhelpful told me to come at closing. Then closed before u could come and now the gas worker says come back tomorrow. As an update; Neither the managers at either establishment cared or looked. I came back two days in a row before and after closing/opening and they didn't want to help or didn't even know. I asked to look through the trashes and they let me for 5 minutes then told me oh well sorry. And then tried to gaslight me saying i didn't. Also finding paint issues with my rims with this car wash. You can get better results with a spray nozzle on a garden hose. Had droppings all over car (hood, roof, window) after the wash that I later wiped away with a wet towel. The person running the machine said these droppings cannot be cleaned by the machine and that I would have to wash myself by hand...which defeats the purpose of coming here. However the vacuums were powerful. Would have been nice to have other attachments for the vacuum though. For cheaper, other places in Costa Mesa have DIY car washes that clean much better. Can't go wrong with $6 car wash; however, lately we've been "splurging" on the $15 ultimate car wash where there's extra wax coats etc but our car ALWAYS has spots on it. Please update, fix or prolong your last step dryer time and/or fix your spotless water spray because it's NOT spotless. I've been using this place for 3-4 months and honestly it's not worth it. My car comes out of other end soaked, the dryers never work, they just make sound and you have to hand wipe your car, then you'll end up with smudges everywhere. But now, the owner has lowered water pressure, so when you pull in, the employees don't care to hose your car down with that little splash they're supposed to do, so you go in the tube dry, then it sprays soap on top of your dry dirt, then with 10% water pressure, it starts to scratch the life out of your paint with dry dirty and soap, this was killing me that I couldn't just stop the machines and get out, so I had to sit through my paint being micro scratches and the left went through the other end. They charge the money but don't provide what you pay for. read more

They pretty much told me I will not get any reimbursement or take responsibility for it. This is very unacceptable when this place destroyed my $5000 rims. It used to be if you didn't want the air freshener I could request an extra moist wipe for the inside of my car. Now? They charge you 50 cents per wipe! Granted, that's not a lot of money but if I'm saving you on the air freshener you could at least give another moist wipe as an even trade. Plus, my car wasn't dry AT ALL after going through it. Usually just the rear doesn't get dried (that's bad enough) but this time I had to wipe the entire car down because of all the water still on it.
