Amazing food and service! One the best meals we've have had in a long time. Will be back n

One of the most unique restaurants I've ever been to. Every dish showcased an incredible combination of flavors that came together to create an unforgettable meal. The balance of sweet and salty was perfectly executed, making each bite exciting and satisfying. Our waiter provided excellent recommendations and truly enhanced the experience with his knowledge and attentiveness. You can immediately tell the difference with the homemade pasta--it was fresh, tender, and far superior to anything store-bought. The care and creativity put into the food really stood out and made the entire meal feel special. This is the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression and makes you want to come back to try everything on the menu.

Came here for a birthday dinner and had their tasting menu with a wine pairing at the chef's table. We made the reservation several weeks in advance and I think they tend to fill up quite quickly. The ambiance in the restaurant is great. Very mushroom-themed which was fun. They have a record player in the kitchen which plays the music for the restaurant which was also a fun touch and they alternate switching up the records! The tasting menu was ~7 courses, spanning from appetizers to dessert. The food was excellent! Overall, one of the best meals I've had in Cincinnati. There were a lot of seafood-focused dishes which I thought were excellent, as someone who loves seafood. The wine pairing with the meal was also worthwhile and had some excellent wines! I can't speak to their regular menu, but the tasting menu was excellent!

We opted for the chefs table experience. Chefs explained ingredients and processes behind each dish and were present for any questions. The food itself was excellent and interesting, I loved the way they played with their ingredients. I attached pictures of my favorite courses, but there were many more. As for ambiance, the chefs table is sat in front of the open kitchen which gave us a show for dinner. Definitely recommend getting the chefs tasting menu!

Tiny menu for the Chef's Counter dining experience

What an incredible experience! My fiancé got us the Chef's Counter experience for my birthday, and I highly recommend it. We had several tiny courses, including apps and dessert. Everything is made fresh from scratch and includes herbs from the chef's home garden. They change their menu seasonally, so the pictures I have may not reflect the current menu. Throughout the experience, each dish is brought out and explained by a member of the staff. This experience is absolutely made for the adventurous eater - there were so many things I've never had before that I got to try, and may not have picked myself if I was left to choose. Each dish was better than the last, and they all played together so nicely. Excellent service, cool ambiance, and excellent food.

Obsessed with this place as a pop up. Obsessed with this place as a restaurant. Love pasta but want something different than Italian food? This place answers that predicament. Exceptional food and cocktails. Superb vibes. Expensive but worth the price.

This was one of the best meals!! I happen to be in town for work and needed a place for dinner. This place had good reviews so I thought I would give it a try. I made a reservation and was promptly seated at my table. The real star of the evening, though, was the Hamachi Tartine with foie gras: buttery, decadent, and expertly prepared. Every bite melted in my mouth. I also tried the Quark and Spring Onion Cappelletti. It was out of this world. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance was relaxed. There were tons of windows and lots of natural light. If you're looking for elevated cuisine done right, this is the place. Five stars without hesitation. Next time, I would love to try their Chef's Counter where they will share the daily menu based around a selection of 7 ingredients, explored over the course of a dozen or so dishes. It sounded awesome but they were booked up for the time I could come in.

Weird.... Lamb pasta. Vinegar forward flavor. Not a fan for $30+ meal.

Lots of hype around this place. Friends raved about the tasting. Maybe I would have felt differently had we done that vs a'la carte. The server was horrible. He badly mixed up the bill and left another server to help us fix it. When told he messed up, blank stare was given. The food was very expensive and my pasta was hugely disappointing (the vinegar flavor was really not the right notes for this pasta). I can't say I'll be back.

We went for the price fixed menu with drink pairings and were not disappointed. My wife was pregnant and thus got NA pairings, and very much Wildweed did their best to s make it worth the value and a great experience for her, with interesting drinks and teas with which she never felt left out. The menu was mostly cohesive, but what stood out was the sommelier service and mastery of the pairings. The food was crafted meticulously and innovative while still approachable and not overly pretentious. The dining room was comfortable and seating nice, notwithstanding a large support beam in front of the bar, around which the servers struggled with to deliver plated dishes.

Amazing restaurant and be prepared to see food in a different light. If I could give 6 stars, I would! First time here and we did the Chef Table for my husband's birthday. Every member of the staff including the chef ensured you were enjoying your food and they were so attentive. You receive a menu after the meal that provides details about every course. Every dish was outstanding but my favorites were the poached scallop and marcona almond. My husband enjoyed the huitlacoche and grilled striploin. He actually said it was difficult to choose a favorite because every dish was amazing! Cannot wait to come back and explore more flavorful dishes and maybe get some more paw paw desserts.

Hands down, the best dining in Cincinnati. My friend and I decided to spend Galentine's day at the chef's table. We loved the warm welcome with a bit of bubbly as we headed to the counter. Alex expertly led us into interesting and delicious cocktails and began our wine pairings. Then the glorious food started coming. Some standouts among the twelve or so plates were the poached scallop, lamb, and the quark pasta. It was fascinating watching the chefs at work in a well choreographed performance. There were so many ingredients handled with so much care, it was evident the thought that went into every aspect of the meal. The only thing I did not enjoy was the pace of the meal. We wanted time to relish and enjoy each bite and that wasn't how the meal was timed. In fact, the next set of dinners were being seated in while we were finishing up. I would also say, I think we benefited from the expertise of the chef's table. If I'd had to choose my own adventure from a menu, things could have gone terribly wrong with clashing flavors. In sum, book your reservation for the chef's table today! We don't have many of these experiences in Cincy and this one deserves to be fully enjoyed.

Went to Wildweed for the first time last Saturday and had a fantastic time. The decor of the restaurant is very modern and sleek. Love the design. They get maximum use of the space. We started with the bread and the spinach salad. Love Camino bakery and the bread is fantastic. The herb butter is delicious. The spinach salad was delightfully light. The sauce underneath was herby and smooth. Loved the seasonal citrus. We had two pastas, the mushroom and the stuffed chicken. The mushroom was better, the umami of the mushroom cut the richness of the cheese. Little bit of heat from the chili oil. Fantastic hint of lemon in the sauce. The chicken pasta was good. Asian flavors. The crispy shallot made it. Service was good but not great. Went a long time without being greeted upon seating. Extremely friendly when you walk in though. Can't wait to go back for some boujee pasta!

Such a fun concept! Me and 4 friends had the pleasure of visiting the other night and it was lovely! A very cool atmosphere as far as ambiance love how open and bright everything is. Great for a date night. The service was prompt and informative. We quite literally had our server walk through the drink and food menu for us and she obliged happily and was very knowledgeable about all that was offered. You can't go wrong with one of their cocktails they were all so interesting and crafted with such detail. For starters, we got bread, oysters and beet salad. The bread was great but the oysters were a bit fishy for my liking. For mains, I highly recommend what I got which was the chicken ranger tortellini. The sauce it came it was so bright and paired perfectly with the filling. I will say that the portions are on the lighter side, but for the extremely fair price point you can't be upset. Glad we got to check it out!

Our server, Chloe, introduced herself with a smile and provided us with a quick refresher. I knew from her energy that we were going to be in great hands for the evening. Sweet, fruity, and pretty... that green cocktail did exactly what it needed to do, lol. FIVE STARS! Now, on to the food... The Gator Bites are a MUST. I ordered the hot honey sauce on the side just to play it safe and I am glad I did, because babyyyy, that spice had no boundaries. If you're a lover of spicy things, you'll be good to order as is, lol! I also ordered the Roasted Oysters. Another MUST! The oysters had a parmesan crust with lemon garlic butter drizzled over them... They were gone in minutes! I was on the fence for my entree, but then my girl Chloe clocked that Pasta Mardi Gras and the rest is history. It was creamy, savory, and packed with flavor. I knew my girl wouldn't let me down! Our experience was excellent! I definitely recommend reservations. Pappadeaux wasn't terribly busy when we arrived, but by the time we finished up & headed out, they had a line out the door. If you're in the Cincy area, add to your foodie list! Overall, a great restaurant for a GNO, date night, or any celebration.

We hadn't checked on the website, but found out Thursday is oyster day, with $1 oysters and fried oysters and $1.50 for Oyster Bienville. The fried oysters were delicious. The raw oysters were good, though I had one that was gritty. We are going again in two weeks and will try the Oyster Bienville along with other assorted oysters. Two of us had the special Pan Seared Sea Bass. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The crisp on the top was delicious and the fish itself was delicate and moist. I opted for Karma's Opera Crème Cake. Oh my goodness, it was huge, sweet and delicious. I tried a bit of key lime and it just didn't compare. That said, those who had the Key Lime Pie loved it.
