I am a professional wedding photographer. I work at a LOT of venues. Wildwood is my very favorite. I have shot over 40 weddings (and counting) here at Wildwood. Dan and Lien are incredibly helpful and kind. They will go to bat for you. The ambiance is beautiful. Very unique. I highly recommend it for weddings!

Attended a beautiful wedding. Location is romantic but fun at the same time. There is enough space to have the actual ceremony and reception, with game area, space for a photo booth and dance area.

This is the most perfect venue in every single way ! Dan and Lien are absolutely amazing and their vendors are just as amazing. The vendors and Dan/Lien make the perfect team! We had our wedding last Friday (10/11) and was perfect! All of our guest raved about how perfect our wedding was. That was because of Dan, lien and their vendors. Always open communication if you need anything. I'm so pleased with the outcome of the wedding and we will be coming back to visit Dan and Lien.

We had our wedding was here and it was perfect. The venue is stunning and Lien and Dan the owners are fantastic. We live in SoCal and had to do most of our planning via email, or send my mom as a representative. They were completely willing to work with us and our schedule. The catering is all handled by Lien, and you only pick it out a couple weeks ahead of the wedding. It was delicious. She worked with us to meet various dietary restrictions and we were so happy with how our menu turned out. It didn't feel "wedding-y" just a really good meal. And the late night sandwiches she makes were a big hit. There is nothing we would have changed about our experience.

This venue is exactly what I wanted to celebrate my special day. There isn't a single thing I would change, and this is how a bride should feel :) Lien and Dan are the owners of this venue and really know how to make a bride happy. They catered to our needs, met with us frequently to make sure all visions were aligned, and they even set aside time to talk to our coordinators to ensure a smooth day. These two are seriously hard workers! They understand that this is a once in a lifetime event, and try to make it the best day possible. Some of the reviews say differently, but don't listen to them. Lien is a very honest woman, and I'm sure there are some bridezilla's that can't handle truth ;) The venue itself is exactly like an enchanted garden. The ceremony site has a canopy of trees, and it takes your breath away. The garden is beautiful for pictures, and the reception area is amazing! It has tiered seating, and I instantly fell in love with the area. On top of all this, the food is derricious! Seriously, the food is damn good. Lien's brisket and turkey are mouth-watering. I only wish we had more food during the reception. I think the food is TOO good so our guests actually didn't have enough. Her melted cheese sandwiches are fantastic, and our guests would not stop talking about these little treats. My stomach seriously just growled while writing this... We also had a coffee bar, and the line was never-ending. It gets a little chilly at night, so the coffee bar topped off the night! We got married in June, so the weather was perfect. Every one of our wedding guests have told us how much they enjoyed the venue! BTW: Check the place out for yourself! Wildwood has open house nights on the first Tuesday of every month. Meet Lien/Dan, taste her heavenly food, and take a stroll in the enchanted garden. Pretty sure you'll be booking the place!

My husband and I got married here 2 weeks ago and all I can say is it was the absolute best day of our lives. We visited Wildwood about 4 times before booking- whether it was through appointment or one of their open houses and found ourselves only looking at 1 other place. We absolutely fell in love with this place. The setting was more beautiful than we could have ever dreamt up and we ended up signing a contract almost 2 years out from our date. After signing, I started to get anxiety and very nervous about some of the reviews I read. I was worried that I may have a negative experience similar to what people talked about but I can tell you, it was far from any of the negative reviews. Lien was amazing! Don't get me wrong, she can be intimidating because she is very honest and straight up when it comes to the can's and can'ts for the venues but I liked that about her. We went to many open houses since we had so much time before our big day and tried as much food as possible, which I highly recommend doing! Her recipes varied due to seasonal availability of ingredients, but they always tasted great to us. Lien was great at communicating payments and questions for us and always responded when we had questions (TEXT WAS BEST). She was always happy to answer my questions or concerns and give her input on what worked best for the venue. For example I really had my heart set on having a whole dessert display table in the gazebo. While Lien said she could do that for us if we really wanted, she also really gave her opinion of why she wasn't a fan and tried to persuade us: the gazebo is on the opposite side of the dance floor and people likely won't want to cut across the dancing just to get a cookie or cupcake and to have the desserts sitting out the whole ceremony/reception isn't very appetizing even though it may be very aesthetic. Some brides may have stuck to their vision and pushed back but that wasn't us. We listened and she then proceed to tell us after dinner, she would clear the buffet and SHE would set up the whole dessert table. We decided to do this and it was BEAUTIFUL! Take away from this: I feel some brides come in and have a set vision... I know that I did, but I also kept in mind this was her venue and she has done MANY weddings. She always commented on how "easy" my fiancé and I were because we were willing to be flexible and I think that when it comes to weddings, many brides aren't. (I'm not saying give up all of your visions and wants for your dream wedding, just hear her out and come to a compromise because she is more than willing to do so). Anyway, things/details didn't really start to pick up until a few months before, but when it came to our 2 week final meeting where you set everything in stone, Lien really made me feel comfortable and important. There were many allergy restrictions from our guests and she made sure to take note of all of them and didn't take it lightly. She went over everything in great detail and gave us some time in person to think about options, talk things through and was so kind and willing to help. The day of the wedding she was so nice and let me tell you, she works so hard! Like nonstop... she was always doing something and making sure things were going well. Our wedding day couldn't have gone as smoothly without her. Now I know not everyone had this experience and I was genuinely nervous that I would have a different one than I did, so I recommend reading the reviews and also remain open minded. Ask questions, communicate, YOU ARE A TEAM! Lien and Dan never gave us the impression that they only cared to take all of our money like some people have warned. They made both my fiancé and I feel that our wedding truly mattered and that they wanted to ensure they were doing everything in their means to accommodate us and make it the best day of our lives, while upholding their policies, integrity and doing what they felt best worked with their venue. I also recommend going with a majority of their preferred vendors- it made the day feel more seamless because they wok so often together. We used Mark Welch (MWE) and he was great! He acts as a day of coordinator and the DJ.. highly recommend! We also used Valarie with A Loves in Bloom for florals- everything was beautiful. Our videographer was Sean Kenney, based in Sacramento area but he shot multiple weddings at Wildwood before our wedding. Hope this helps someone!

This space was perfect for my sister's spring evening reception. Pros: the different twinkle lights and lush vegetation made the space so romantic, intimate, and whimsical. The different levels were perfect for my sister's diverse activities like a photo booth, activities, standing tables, and different seating levels. The serving staff was so friendly and fun and definitely helped the atmosphere. The food, especially the late night grilled cheeses, were good as well. Though it got a little brisk, there were heaters and an open bar to help us out. Cons: The only con I can think of was that the food was not out for very long I don't think, though that could be because of my sister's itinerary. The only other thing would of course be the location. It's a windy one lane road up to the venue, so definitely inaccessible for ubers or lyfts. The space was sweet, personal, and not stuffy ay all. It was a lovely evening because of how beautiful the venue was!

Teens and older kids can still have a great time, but I think it's best suited for families with younger children. One thing to keep in mind is that it's expensive. Rooms can range from about $200-$400 per night on weekends and during holidays. If you want to save money, I recommend visiting in August, January, or on weekdays like Tuesday or Wednesday, when it's usually less crowded. Also, be prepared to spend extra on activities and food. Many activities cost an additional $10-$20 unless you purchase a Wolf Pass or Paw Pass, which can provide better value. If you're trying to save money, plan ahead. For example, instead of buying the 12 oz candy cup for around $10, consider purchasing the refillable kids' favorite cup and bringing your own candy from a store like Target. Small choices like that can help reduce the overall cost. Overall, we had a great time, but it's definitely not a budget-friendly vacation. If you plan ahead and budget for the extras, it's a fun experience for the whole family.

Our stay had both highlights and disappointments, which is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars otherwise it would be a 2. The biggest positive was the staff. Every employee we interacted with from valet and the front desk to housekeeping and Blend was genuinely warm, welcoming, and professional. They made us feel like valued guests, and the resort grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Aside from a few asthetic issues the rooms were very clean. Unfortunately, the overall guest experience didn't live up to expectations. One of the amenities we were most looking forward to was relaxing by the pool after a day of travel and wine tasting. While the pool stays open into the evening, food and beverage service ends early, and outside food and drinks aren't permitted. With a standard 4:00 p.m. check-in, that leaves very little opportunity to fully enjoy the experience the resort advertises. Random observation and I can only speak to the adult pool (they do have 2) I'm no math wiz but the chair to guest ratio does not math in a resort with over 400 rooms in Napa where you are bound to have more adults than minors. We also experienced several maintenance issues throughout the room, including the carpet, a faulty light switch, and an exterior light fixture. While none of these issues alone were major, together they reflected a level of upkeep I wouldn't expect from a resort charging upwards of $500 per night. For the price, I would suggest looking at other options in Napa before booking.

It didn't stop there, while I was on the phone with Marissa, the hotel room phone rang. My husband answered and was told that the market at the resort said we could come in and whatever we wanted there as it was on the house. I'm not sure how they heard about what happened, but that was totally unexpected! Our first visit was in 2023 when they had just opened less than a year. We stayed in an Arbor Cottage, which was the standalone cottage with a super spacious and luxurious bathroom and outdoor shower. Second stay was in 2025 in which we stayed in the Rambler, which also had a spacious bathrooms and outdoor shower and back patio. Downside was that our room was located all the way at the top of the hill by the employee parking, making it a trek to and from the pool. Our most recent stay was in a Acre room, which I think was the best for our family. It was quite spacious with living area but the bathroom was much smaller than the Arbor and Rambler, with no outdoor shower. But in all honesty, it was perfect because my boys cared more about the swimming pool than anything else. During this last visit, we were immediately greeted by Tom, and Isiah helped with our checkin. They were incredibly attentive and helpful. Our previous visits did not have such a warm checkin experience. I also appreciate that they put us in a room closer to the pool. There really is no reason to leave the ranch once you're checked in. The food onsite is incredible, but pricey (it's nominal considering you're already paying a lot to stay though). I will admit they used to have a great deal where kids eat free, and I wish they brought that back. And a must try is the lavender morning bun from Gavel! It's perfectly flaky, smooth, sweetened just right with the lavender sugar that isn't overwhelming. I wish I had bought more to bring home! Overall this is a wonderful resort worth the splurge, especially for families even if it doesn't seem like it at a first glance. They have a shallow kiddy pool as well, and lots of activities for kids on site. There's also breathtaking views from the adults only pool at Halehouse and from Infinity Hill. She advised me that it would be smart to have all of my grocery shopping done prior to arriving at Casa Bella Verde as there are no stores in the immediate area and she also advised me of the unpaved road that is leading up to the house when you turn off the main road. Having the knowledge of these things was very helpful. The "guest house" that you stay in has everything that you might need to have a weekend (or even longer) of relaxation. The guest house is very modern with the amenities one might need and not need. We were particularly fans of the jacuzzi hot tub which is big enough to fit 4 adults. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the deck which has some amazing views. As a host, we couldn't have asked for a better one. When we got there she did a walk through with us to explain to us on how all of the gadgets work (everything is very high tech.) The room felt tired and neglected -- outdated furnishings, visible wear, and a general lack of cleanliness that you wouldn't expect from a Marriott property. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and basic requests took far too long to be addressed (when they were addressed at all). Service was impersonal and unhelpful. Front desk staff seemed disinterested, and there was little follow-through on anything we asked for. For the price we paid, the overall experience felt overpriced and underwhelming. We won't be returning and wouldn't recommend it.

We started the trip with what I can say was a can't be beat resort stay here. We each had our own king rooms that honestly almost made me hate my own home. From the start of the stay pulling up to the security gate and getting greeted with so much energy and friendliness then being handed a rosemary bag to bring you into the mood. Immediately I knew I would love this place. The valets were great. The lobby staff were great. I was at the resort for two days and I swear I never touched a door to open. My room was ready early which was a bonus and the room. Again just great. Spacious. Ultra clean. All the amenities you could want. Fridge bar area. Fireplace. Sliding double doors to a private patio overlooking a fantastic golf course. Giant bathroom with separate soaking tub that was divine. I could review the golf all by itself. Super nice caddy Jack who it was a pleasure to spend the day working alongside and perfect weather because it can certainly get hot out there. We had a catered private lunch and then we had dinner in the bar area and everything was, you guess it, perfect. I will be back it's just a matter of when.

Enjoyed a wonderful night here last week, watched Keith as Kenny and he was a lot of fun. We also got the dark chocolate to snack on and that was good too. Beautiful winery and the grounds are immaculately clean. It wasn't very crowded which is nice and luckily we brought our low chairs to sit it. Just an FYI - I looked at the website before coming and it did say that they do provide folding chairs for their shows and we can bring our own as long as they are the low 4" or lower off the ground type and not the 14" ones from the ground with a built in cup holder which are the ones I have. Luckily my friend has the really low ones and she brought those. Much to our surprise they did not have any chairs on the grass set up at all - which was completely different than what's written on the website. So it was a good thing my friend brought hers. May be a good idea to update the info on the website so people coming to see shows here are aware of what to expect and come prepared. Thank you

The cabins are rustic and you must clean them at the end of your stay which isn't hard as they provide mop and broom for you. The pool is cold and refreshing and the overall atmosphere is friendly. My extended family has been coming to WP for 44 years now, and while I can't always get away from the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley life to join in, I appreciate every moment I spend here. It's just regular people from the Bay Area escaping the madness for a little while, reconnecting with family and friends and enjoying a beer (or two...) It is as enjoyable as you make it. While there is a pool for adults and kiddos, bocce ball, tennis court, bbq area, swings and playground, there are also porches on each cabin, which is a key ingredient for us. Time spent on these porches growing up with family and friends have created memories that will last a lifetime, and I thank the Strickler family for every one.
