I had a wonderful experience with Purse Rehab. I sent two vintage Louis Vuitton handbags including…read morea 2008 Eva Pochette which had the purse strap attached to the end of the zipper. I wanted to change the zipper so that the purse straps were attached to both sides of the handbag, which is similar to the current Eva Pochette. Taleen was very helpful discussing the options. We talked about replacing the entire zipper but it was easier to shorten the zipper. Purse rehab replaced both the vachetta leather pieces that attach the D-rings. The new leather looks identical to the old pieces (they send the old pieces/hardware back to you). We also had a D-ring replated and the strap shortened. I spoke to Taleen multiple times throughout the repairs. They sent photos when the repairs were complete. I also had a new hook added to the chain strap so it could be removed. Purse rehab used vintage LV hooks and did not charge me an additional fee. I also sent a vintage Favorite PM for cleaning/conditioning, replating the front plate to remove scratches, and adding an LV hook to make the chain removable. I will definitely use Purse Rehab in the future for any repairs.

Truly one of the most honest and straightforward service experiences I've had in a long time. I brought in a pair of platform sandals that I absolutely love. I had bought them from a friend who had previously tried to fix a broken strap with strong glue, and I was hoping the strap could be replaced or at least repaired so the damage wouldn't be noticeable or cause further issues. The man who helped me (who I think is the owner) was completely upfront. He explained that attempting to try to fix the strap could actually end up damaging the shoe even more because of the unknown type of glue that was used. The last thing I wanted was for the shoes to be ruined. Instead of just taking my money and trying something risky, he genuinely advised me to leave it as is. Even so, he still spent about 10 minutes working on them to improve their appearance. When he brought them back out, they looked so much better--I was honestly impressed. On top of that, he charged a very fair and reasonable price for his time and effort, which I really appreciated. If you're looking for someone honest, knowledgeable, and skilled to repair your shoes, bags, or luggage, I highly recommend coming here. Your items will be in good hands with someone who truly knows what they're doing.
