We have been bringing our dog to Wiley's Ark for years and they have always done a wonderful job. Dr. Wiley and her staff are very professional and they take great care of their furry patients. We recently needed to bring our JRT in for surgery to remove a cancerous lump on her shoulder, have a hernia repaired as well as a rotten tooth extracted. A lot of procedures for one day on a 16lb. dog. They got to everything while she was undand our pup has never been better. She's healed up now and we can't be happier with the job the team at Wiley's Ark did for us. Highly recommend!! read more

I have been taking my pets to Wiley's Ark since it first opened. Even though I moved 30 miles away, 11 years ago, I still take my cat to Dr. Wiley as I know that I am getting the best care for my fur baby. My cat is 14 and was adopted as a kitten from Dr. Wiley. I can't say that he enjoys his check ups, but following the advice given, he is still going strong. Previous pets and I have been treated with great compassion and understanding when they have come to the end of their lives. I will continue to make the 30 mile drive to Holley for as long as I am a pet owner. I did try a closer vet but I didn't feel the personal touch that I get at Wiley's Ark. read more

Please do not take your dog to Wileys Animal Care if you want professional treatment for your animals. We took our dog that had 2 ear infections and paw problems . The first visit cost us over 800.00 dollars. After that we had made calls and had concerns which our answers were relayed to us by the staff. He contacted a rash which they said he had when we brought him in the first time -and recommended meds and a shampoo. Trying to do as requested from that office, he got worse. The rash spread he was in agony and they gave antibiotics that didnt work. More calls of concern we made to no response to our concerns.They would not change the meds. After several calls and asking for pain meds for him ,2 months later we called with an emergency as our dog had become lethargic, Left a message at 9 am . No call back by 10 am so we put him in the car and drove there. They didnt want us to bring him in, we were out of our minds but we were told they are not equipped for an Emergency, to take him somewhere else. We had no Idea where there was an Emergency Clinic and we were handed a paper and told to call one of a list of about 10 or more places. Some were closed. That office didnt even want to help us. Finally, we had to drive over an hour to get to the only place we could go. He died 2 hours later. I am so pissed that that Dr. Wiley didnt care enough to help my dog. If they read this, It was TOBY. Two months we worried about him and his life was in your hands. You are a pathetic Person, and you should retire or stop practicing. I read other bad reviews which there are alot. You even have the 2 girls in that front office as cold as you. You never had anyone call to check on him and several messages we left, were never answered. My baby died from your neglect the same day you turned us away. Two months you had the chance to help him. I am going to report you. Because that is the right thing to do. Tobys mommy. Hello, I was referred to your office by family members that use your practice, since we just moved in from Arizona. I called and was informed that I needed to send my dogs medical records to have Dr. Wiley look over and then would be contacted with an appointment, understandable. I emailed the records to the email address on your website DrWiley@aol.com on 9/8/20 - I called this morning to make sure they were received and to make our appointment, hence has been 3 days since I emailed them. I was asked where I emailed the records and gave the above email address - I was then informed was the wrong address. I advised that it is on the website (see below) and then treated like a child and told numerous times the correct email address, and treated with a rude and demeaning tone, when I was trying to write down the address, and trying to tell you that the email address above is on the website. I was NEVER told that the correct address is in the contacts tab, or received an apology for YOU having the wrong email address located on your website, and treated the way I was. I WILL NOT BE BRINGING MY DOGS TO YOUR FACILITY, IF I'M TREATED THAT WAY, I DO NOT WANT YOUR SERVICES FOR MY PETS. HAVE YOUR WEBSITE CORRECTED!!! Our dog was bloated and constipated. She was laying on her side and couldn`t move. We called the office at 8:00am as soon as they opened. They told me that they didn`t have time and to call urgent care. We called urgent care and they told us it would be 4-6 hour wait. We loaded our dog in the car and drove over to Wileys. I went in and asked if they please had just a few minutes to look at her. She said "we don`t have the time". I walked out and drove to East Avenue Vet clinic in Brockport, and they said they didn`t have time and we were not a customer. Our dog died in the car in the parking lot. She was still alive at Wileys Ark but they had no time. Our dog Shiloh has been going there since she was 2 years old. We took her to all of her well visits etc. but when it came time to actually help Shiloh, they had no time. Do not put yourself through what we went through. If you aren`t a customer there, please don`t go. If you are, keep in mind that in an emergency, Dr. Wiley "wont have time"..It`s a shame that our 8 year old dog could still be alive if "Doctor" Wiley just had the time. read more

This is truly an asset to the community of Holley. Dr. Wiley and her staff run a small animal hospital that's big on heart. They are kind and compassionate. I also appreciated they are all very knowledgeable in care and services, without pushing extra things on my animals that aren't necessary or out of my price range. They also carry a large selection of pet foods, treats and toys, so I don't have to go out of my way to purchase them, and are always happy to order any thing I need. I also love all the gals that work there, especially Amethyst, who is truly a gem, and treat my pets as if they were her own. read more

After using other local veterinarians for years, Doc Wiley was the one who finally diagnosed and treated my older female cat with coccidia. Unfortunately, after 3 years with being undiagnosed (despite hundreds of dollars in fees to these other vets), my cat had developed irreversible deterioration that shortened, and ultimately ended, her life. Doc Wiley always explains the spectrum of treatment options, and begins with the least expensive/invasive. The sensitivity and concern that all the staff display toward my animals and myself has always been evident. I appreciate that they don't overbook, and actually allow time between clients, so there is no conflict between pets in the waiting area. Dr Wiley is not a friendly person at all. I visited her office on 3 occasions. The first time i took my dog for routine shots and she was "cold". My gut instinct said to run but when my cat became ill i took him there and she seemed very friendly and informative so i thought maybe she just had a bad day the first time i was there. Well my cat took a turn for the worst so i went back and she was horrible! Very condescending and rude, so this time i ran! Went to another vets down the road and i LOVE this new place. Oh, and i feel her prices are way high as well. I paid $350 for bloodwork and prescription cat food (which the receptionist said if the cat didnt eat it, they would refund our money). Well needless to say, the cat wouldnt eat it and when i took it back Dr Wiley said she wouldn't refund the money but i could swap it for another brand. Well at my new vets office i paid $139 for bloodwork, and two different medications and the Dr spent an hour and a half explaining things to me about my cat and came up with with a plan and a breakdown of the costs before preceding with treatment. Please do not go to this vet! I was harassed and intimidated by the Dr. and made to feel like I was a great nuisance when I showed up 5 minutes before my pet was supposed to have surgery. Yelling, belittled me, and condescending attitude by the Dr. Then when I had a medical question she blatantly said it was a new problem because it wasn't in the chart even though my pet was seen for the problem at the last visit. Very rude, threw a temper tantrum, EXTREMELY unprofessional. My dog and other animals will NEVER EVER go back and she lost 4 patients that day and NEVER RECOMMEND Wiley's Ark Animal Care ever again! read more

Run Is Right!... We moved to the town about 3 years ago in search of a local vet for my Dog who had a Nail that curved into her paw and we dont drive so seemed like our only option. My dog mind you in the full 9 years shes been alive has never once bitten or acted up toward anyone, she very friendly and kind and very relaxed she sleeps allot! well idk what they did to her that first visit but it triggered her fear, she used to love the vet but not this place! she HATED going there after for routine nail clippings.They were always to rough with her she'd limp they hurt her hips, for days after for just a nail trim and we were forced to give her enough trazadone to calm a horse.This last time was a doozy apparently my dog bit a vet tech,keep in mind she has NEVER bit anyone nor did the tech's glove even appear broken no skin was even scratched and mind you they muzzle my dog.But I was shoved my dogs paperwork and told to go elsewhere , I'm still in shock because that is not my dog at all! An animal knows when somethings just not right and I feel bad i didnt listen to my babygirl,So here I sit 2 months later my dog still has something wrong with her skin (keeps falling out in clumps) and her nails never did get done that day I tried to do them on my own but I'm afraid of hurting her myself which is why I took her to a vet to do them,And no other vets in walking distance WHICH THEY KNEW WE DIDN'T DRIVE so they basically sent my dog to suffer and die , so uncaring ! read more

As a professional nurse at a hospital, I was totally shocked and appalled by this vets reaction to me being 5 mins late for an appointment.she was actually waiting for me at the door and began YELLING at me!she told me I would have to reschedule my appointment.when I continued to try and talk to her, she kept yelling at me and told the tech to give me my dogs chart and if I didn't leave she would call the police!! I am so grateful that I didn't leave my dog in her care!!! I can't even imagine how she treats animals after seeing how she treats people ! After telling other people of my experience, they have told me similar stories about her. I have to say that her staff have always been very nice, too bad they have to endure her awful temper. read more
