Needed water heater flushed & water softener serviced in rental property between tenants. Plumber was prompt & friendly, and he completed the flush & service. He also completed a plumbing inspection, part of the service plan I've tried to cancel since last year. I appreciate the inspection thoroughness, and, I was mildly amused (after getting over the shock): He told me bathroom faucet had reduced flow, and that happens from hard water, etc. I pointed out I have a water softener. He then offered to provide me a quote "to replace it". This is the shock: I assumed he would suggest cleaning or replacing the aerator, so I asked if he meant replace the faucet? He said "yes". I asked "why wouldn't I just clean/flush the aerator?" to which he said, yes, I could do that and it would solve the problem. I guess I appreciate that he didn't try to snow me further with some baloney about how that wouldn't suffice, at which point I'd have sufficed his behind out the door (I'm a woman and am admittedly pre-loaded for men seeming to think I don't know anything). I had an issue with my AC catch drain filling with water & their technician, Marcus Bailey, immediately after 5 seconds of a glance at my unit tried to sell two parts needed at $500-600/piece. After he realized I was not going to pay for or finance any new equipment on a new house AC unit, he later decided to diagnose my AC with a clogged drain, which I had previously told him was the issue. He used his shop vac in attempt to clear the pipe which goes to my bathroom sink but in doing so broke the seal from the sink to the pipe. He still failed to clear the drain issue & did not even acknowledge that the pipe seal was now broken & sink no longer usable. Furthermore, after this was done he turned the water on which clearly dripped to bottom of the vanity where I now have mold growing. My entire vanity must be replaced. After he could not locate the filter on the AC unit, my spouse & I diagnosed the machine ourselves, finding the filter clogging the airflow & removed the issue. The technician is completely incompetent. I expect a full refund of $350 (the apparently "discounted" charge to clear a pipe) to now correct my pipes & the vanity. I've used Will Fix It for AC and Plumbing for over 10 years. Multiple times. Our home has 2 AC units and 3 years ago after our AC tune up, we purchased one new unit for $12,000 from Will Fix It. Since its been getting hotter I called Will Fix It for an AC tune up. On Friday 7/24/26 the tech came out and told me he found a leak at the evaporator coil located in our attic air handler. I THINK A 3 YEAR OLD UNIT THAT COST US $12,000 SHOULDN'T BE LEAKING AT ALL, BUT IF IT IS, THE COMPANY THAT INSTALLED IT SHOULD MAKE IT RIGHT. BUT ITS NOT EVEN THAT. THE PROBLEM is the leak was the result of a bracket pressing against the coil when they closed the unit during the install, causing a dent and what the tech called "a pinhole leak." Its clear that where there's a leak on the coil is not a spot where there should ever be any wear and tear. When he sent his report it stated "The 3 year old upstairs Carrier was found to be significantly low on refrigerant." Meanwhile, the 17 year old downstairs Carrier is cooling fine. I waited for a call with a repair date, but I got a call on Tuesday 7/28/26 from a Field Supervisor who told me I'd have to pay labor $2,000. I asked why I should pay for an install issue on a unit I purchased from them. I think what any person would ask is, what is their incentive to stand by their work if in a few months they can just say Sorry, there's a leak and charge me labor again? After we spoke on 7/28/26, I texted the Field Supervisor directly to make sure we were on the same page. I was thinking maybe he didn't know how it was damaged and just thought it was a leak. "We Will Fix It" came out and replaced an old floating safety switch -- the device that's supposed to shut off the A/C if the condensation drain line starts to flood. For about 10-11 months after that, everything seemed fine. Then one day, I noticed water dripping from the ceiling. It turns out the new safety switch had been wired incorrectly, so it never shut off the A/C when the drain line flooded, completely defeating its purpose. As a result, my ceiling has leaked multiple times, leaving a large water stain and likely hidden damage inside the ceiling. I've called "We Will Fix It" multiple times -- several before the warranty expired and several after. Each time, I'm told that management will call me back. No one ever has. The representative says my concerns are "noted," but I've been waiting for months without a single follow-up. This issue was caused by their mistake, and I've made it clear that they should fix both the wiring error and the damage it caused. So far, nothing. We had our 26 year old HVAC replaced last week. Westley was patient with us as we needed time to decide what type of unit we needed/ wanted and who we wanted to do the install. We chose to go with will fix it for a few reasons, including the finance options that were available. Once we decided to go with them, they installed the next day. Updating my review. Company is still snake oil. The low rating suits the low value of their work. I got work done by them a couple months ago, it was supposed to be a 675 dollar auguring fee. They sociomaniuplated me into having them get a larger auger to auger from the street. They said they would cut off a grand WHAT A DEAL! It took them weeks to actually do said auguring and installing of a new pipe. I was stuck with a giant hole in my yard for weeks before they did ANYTHING. Nothing was fixed. I inquired about it as to why, and they said they would need to do EVEN MORE DIGGING to install MORE PIPE and it would cost us the 'low low price' of 25 THOUSAND DOLLARS. I told them we don't have that, and told them another company fixed our issue for an entire year with a 300 dollar indoor auger, and they had no answer for that. What followed was weeks of them sending guys to my door, freaking out my dogs and causing untold noise in my home as a result of the cacophony of barking. My dogs are normally quiet but doorbells and door knocking freaks them out. We work from home, we NEED a quiet environment, too much noise can COST US OUR JOBS and thusly OUR HOUSE in the middle of TEXAS 100 DEGREE SUMMER and you have done this FOR MONTHS. I am not even the one that paid for this stupid service, a third party did. Dear We Fix It Management, August 15th will mark one year since my new York A/C unit was installed by We Fix It. Unfortunately, after nearly a year, I am still dealing with an A/C system that has failed to provide reliable cooling for my home. I work outside in Texas temperatures that routinely reach 100 degrees or more. Coming home after working in those conditions only to walk into a house that is still around 90 degrees has taken a significant toll on me. This is not an acceptable situation for a newly installed A/C system. I have repeatedly contacted We Fix It, including the emergency service number. However, I have come to realize that calling the emergency number does not necessarily result in emergency service. On multiple occasions, I have been told that service would be provided, only for the appointment to be rescheduled until the following day. At this point, I have had eight different technicians work on or evaluate this system. Each technician has provided a different diagnosis or opinion regarding what is wrong with the unit. Despite these repeated service calls and attempts to repair the system, I am still experiencing the same problem. I have also had to purchase multiple fans simply to try to make my home tolerable because the A/C system I paid for has not reliably cooled my house. This situation has gone far beyond a simple repair issue. I have given We Fix It numerous opportunities over the past year to correct the problem, and the repeated technician visits and conflicting diagnoses have not resulted in a reliable solution. I have now reached the point where I am requesting that We Fix It take responsibility for this situation and provide a permanent resolution. I do not want to continue walking into my home after working in 100-degree Texas temperatures and finding it at 90 degrees. At this point, I am requesting that the defective unit be removed and replaced with a properly functioning system, or that We Fix It provide another appropriate resolution that does not leave me continuing to deal with the same problem. Please consider this a formal complaint and request for management-level review. I would like a written response outlining how We Fix It intends to resolve this matter. I made an appointment on a Saturday for someone to come out the next day between 8 am - noon and I called to confirm someone waOur A/C went out on Saturday afternoon, and we were given an appointment for Sunday between 8 a.m. and noon. By 3 p.m., no one had shown up, so I called again and was assured someone would still come out. Then at 5 p.m., they called to reschedule. In the Texas heat, this was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. When they finally came out on Monday, we were quoted $1,300 for a repair that involved cutting part of a pipe. Thankfully, we decided to get a second opinion. Another company fixed the issue without cutting anything and charged us only $800. I called Will Fix It for an estimate to replace my 40 gal. gas water heater. An appointment was set up by the service man for July 2nd at 10am. After receiving several texts and emails, I was told they would be there between 10am and 2pm. I told the representative that the service man set the appointment at 10am and again she said between 10am and 2pm. I was told someone would call me when he was on his way. Well, no one called and the service man showed up at 12:01. Okay, well at least he was there. Said it would take a couple of hours. Work started. He told me he had to go and get a part, an aluminum tube and he'd be gone 10-15 minutes. One hour and 48 minutes later, he returns. Said it was traffic. Really??? Okay, he's back at it. FINALLY, we get to the end of the installation FOUR AND A HALF HOURS LATER! Now he's getting my bill ready. He said "by the way, that is a 50 gal tank!" WHAT???? I didn't want a 50 gal tank, I ordered a 40 gal tank. He said the shop loaded the wrong tank and he didn't want to stand in line again to get it replaced so he brought it and installed it. Now he said he wouldn't charge me the extra $500 for the bigger tank. "Just don't tell anyone." I told him "hell no, you won't or you can take it back out and put my old one back in!" At that point he asked me to give him a good review. Really??? We go inside to get my bill paid. I was going to use two cards, one with my bank ($1007.80) and the other was a charge ($2300) for the balance. I signed what was needed. When I checked my bank, later, he only charged my bank $107.80 and put $3200 on my charge. That totally messed up my payment plan I had set up to get this covered. Oddly enough, he said I didn't seem to trust him when we were in the garage. Ya think???? By the way, he banged the wall with the water heater and knocked a picture off the wall in my office which scratched the wall, knocked over books and knocked things off my desk. I should have checked Yelp before calling this place. They came up on Google. Had a terrible interaction with them. I initially reached out and scheduled an appointment for five days away. I got a text every single day confirming my appt (I guess this was the only positive), then the day of the actual service I received a random text message saying that no one would be coming out and did I want to reschedule for over 30 days from now. When I called about this someone over the phone told me that it doesn't show that my appt is canceled so I should still anticipate they will show up. When I first contacted them about a new AC system, I was very clear on a couple of things: energy efficiency and getting RID of the hot and cold zones in my house. You know the problem.. some bedrooms were noticeably hotter than others. It was suggested the lack of cold air returns was the culprit as we didn't want to leave all the bedroom doors hanging open (cats). I was told "we can take care of that"! 4 years later, they STILL haven't been able to fix the hot and cold zones!..added more insulation. Added a radiant barrier. Added solar powered attic fans. If anything, the hot bedrooms are HOTTER. And the master bedroom is like ICE (too cold for summer, zero heat in the winter, literally). They did NO pressure checks. No measurements of air volume or what would be needed to deliver the same cfm in every room... This has been a complaint since day one of tge install. Wish I could go back to the first year and take advantage of the 'satisfaction money back guarantee' (they avoided my calls, on purpose I suspect to get past the guarantee) as I would easily take them up on it now, and they could write me a check for the 42k I dropped and they can come and get their Carrier system and shove it up their behinds, and I'd take that money and go with a mini-split in each room. Watch out for these clowns. I.M.O., they do not know what they are doing. If they want to actually come and make it right, fine. I will edit my review. But they are not stepping foot in my house again. Unless we have a written contract on how to address this problem? And compensation, if they can't fix it. read more

Will Fix It techs are not very knowledgeable and unprepared. When the rep came, he pulled out my dryer to get into the drain area without first disconnecting the dryer exhaust duct and as a result broke it. He then tried to unscrew the wall plate and did not have the proper tools.We had to provide them. He really didn't know exactly how to manage the clog and said he would have to tear into the wall. This was even before agreeing to an estimate. It seemed to me that it would not be necessary in the least to work with the pipe as there was easy access. I knew then that he was a novice possibly with limited skills. He was courteous enough to bring us a new duct but at that point we had little confidence to let him do the installation and we did it ourselves. We called another plumber and he went straight to it with no need to cut through the wall and did an excellent job. I will no longer even consider calling Will Fix It. read more

I had Will Fix It install my entire HVAC unit in June 2022. The duct work was not properly sealed. Fast forward to today. Mold has grown inside the walls of the unit. The capacitor is rusting as well as other metals in the unit. I've been suffering from allergies and severe headaches so I decided to have someone come clean my ducts. That's when they discovered all the Mold. I had to replace all the ducts. I contacted Will Fix It and they sent a service technician and charged me 99.00 to show them their work. He said he would need a crew of a couple of guys for 8-10 hours to find the leak. I would need to prepay for this at $350 per hour. This would also mean 4+ days without water. Totally unacceptable. I was extremely upset so I started digging in the yard to find the leak myself. It took me 20 minutes to locate it and then to expose the area. During this time the technician just stood by and watched me do it myself. Pretty sad a 58 year old man puts this young guy to shame. After I exposed the leak, he told me he did not have the right parts to make the fix. It's 1/2" pipe, pretty common materials and should be on his truck. The next day a different technician came out and made the repair. I agreed on the price of $540 even though I did part of the work but I was just wanting to get past this experience. Also did not want to stiff the company so I took the higher ground. I called the following day 3 times to talk to a Manager or the QC person but of course, no response. Three times now we have scheduled or been rescheduled by will fix it and they dont show up. No call or anything. They just don't come and we have to call to see why. We have taken time from work to be here which is really the icing on the cake for the level of disrespect as a customer. We should note we've spent tens of thousands of dollars on different work and repairs from them. We have also paid extra to be vip customers. Don't waste your time find someone else. read more
