i purchased & had a new heating & air conditioning unit installed thu Will Fix It last month. My new unit is just over a month old. A week ago, I noticed the heat was not working. I called them & they got a tech out the same day. The tech "fixed" the issue. i thought this was great, until....during the cold front that TX recieved, my heat once again was not working. I called them yesterday. They scheduled a tech to come out between 8am & 12pm. Not ideal, but I understand they are probably busier than usual during this cold front. alas, I patiently wait until morning so someone could fix my heat. Here is where my disappointment lies, a tech never showed up during my scheduled appointment time. I called Will Fix It almost an hour after my scheduled time to ask for an update. I was told by the phone rep they would contact dispatch & dispatch would get me an update. another 2 hours go by and still nothing. I call again & ask what is going on? There has been no communication whatsoever. No hey we will be late. No hey, we aren't going to make it and need to reschedule. Nothing. Its now almost 8pm and I've spent the entire coldest weekend of this year inside an extremely cold house. While this is a huge inconvenience for me, I will survive this weekend. I am highly disappointed in the company's lack of communication. Not to mention that my new equipment is only a month old & I should NOT be experiencing issues with it. I made an appointment on a Saturday for someone to come out the next day between 8 am - noon and I called to confirm someone waOur A/C went out on Saturday afternoon, and we were given an appointment for Sunday between 8 a.m. and noon. By 3 p.m., no one had shown up, so I called again and was assured someone would still come out. Then at 5 p.m., they called to reschedule. In the Texas heat, this was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. When they finally came out on Monday, we were quoted $1,300 for a repair that involved cutting part of a pipe. Thankfully, we decided to get a second opinion. Another company fixed the issue without cutting anything and charged us only $800. 1-Star Review About a year ago, my HVAC system kept shutting off randomly. "We Will Fix It" came out and replaced an old floating safety switch -- the device that's supposed to shut off the A/C if the condensation drain line starts to flood. For about 10-11 months after that, everything seemed fine. Then one day, I noticed water dripping from the ceiling. It turns out the new safety switch had been wired incorrectly, so it never shut off the A/C when the drain line flooded, completely defeating its purpose. As a result, my ceiling has leaked multiple times, leaving a large water stain and likely hidden damage inside the ceiling. I've called "We Will Fix It" multiple times -- several before the warranty expired and several after. Each time, I'm told that management will call me back. No one ever has. The representative says my concerns are "noted," but I've been waiting for months without a single follow-up. This issue was caused by their mistake, and I've made it clear that they should fix both the wiring error and the damage it caused. So far, nothing. The repair wasn't cheap, and now I'll probably have to pay to repair the ceiling myself. I'd like to see how "We Will Fix It" handles this situation after this review. Stay tuned... read more

Snake oil company. I had a issue with a leak that has gone on for the past year or two. A year ago I had a plumber from a different company come in and fix the issue with an auger for around $360 bucks. So the issue comes back, water starts backing up my pipes when I shower. Toilet makes bubbling noises and within moments I am standing in nasty backup water from my drain. So I call this company. They first do an auger, same as before. They ruin my guest bathroom with mud and mess, but run the auger. But unlike the prior guys they say they cannot get it. They get a longer auger hose, still nothing. They charge 650+ for the effort of 'trying' to fix it. I was willing to call it a oh well moment and call another plumber, then they get pushy and push an outside fix on me, saying that they can dig a hole, auger out the pipe in the front lawn under the house and also install a bump-out for a low low price of $8000 bucks. I tell them that is too much and we cannot afford that. I am very up front about that. Guy doesn't want to hear it and then offers to take off a grand as if that will make a difference. I call a third party to help with covering the costs, they sign to take care of it. The guys then take off. Week goes by, a guy comes out to inspect the lawn. Week two goes by, they dig the hole, week 3 goes by, they fill the hole. They claim that 'I have flow'. They ask for 4000 first and 4000 later. The $4000 was paid by the third party at the start of the work. However despite being named 'We'll fix it' they didn't fix anything. The issue is still there. The toilet still bubbles when I run anything alongside the shower, ranging from a washing machine, dishwasher, even something as light weight as a sink. The water still bubbles up too. These clods want another $4000 bucks for a job not fixed? Oh but it gets better. They claim that the roots of a tree are growing into a pipe under the house and the only way to stop it is if they got an excavator out there to dig EVEN MORE and replace that pipe. They said this would cost the 'low low price' of 25 thousand dollars! I told them to stuff it and just wanted to wash my hands of the situation. Yet they have been at my property off and on the past 2 weeks, freaking out my dogs and causing my family stress. I work from home so I need a quiet environment and having a cacophony of dogs freaking out because these greedy bastards want their money is annoying as hell. I don't see why I should pay a dime to a company that is named 'We'll fix it' but WILL NOT FIX IT. The only thing these slimeballs do is up the price like a carrot on a telescopic stick, always out of reach and always more expensive. I eventually confronted one of their guys and told him to talk to our third party as they were the ones handling payments, and yet they STILL are blowing up my phone. I told their customer service woman who to call. They STILL blow up my phone and send guys/letters to my doorstep. Note, the guy that came by didn't have a single answer as to why another company with an auger can fix the issue for a fraction of the cost. When I first contacted them about a new AC system, I was very clear on a couple of things: energy efficiency and getting RID of the hot and cold zones in my house. You know the problem.. some bedrooms were noticeably hotter than others. It was suggested the lack of cold air returns was the culprit as we didn't want to leave all the bedroom doors hanging open (cats). I was told "we can take care of that"! 4 years later, they STILL haven't been able to fix the hot and cold zones!..added more insulation. Added a radiant barrier. Added solar powered attic fans. If anything, the hot bedrooms are HOTTER. And the master bedroom is like ICE (too cold for summer, zero heat in the winter, literally). They did NO pressure checks. No measurements of air volume or what would be needed to deliver the same cfm in every room... This has been a complaint since day one of tge install. Wish I could go back to the first year and take advantage of the 'satisfaction money back guarantee' (they avoided my calls, on purpose I suspect to get past the guarantee) as I would easily take them up on it now, and they could write me a check for the 42k I dropped and they can come and get their Carrier system and shove it up their behinds, and I'd take that money and go with a mini-split in each room. Watch out for these clowns. I.M.O., they do not know what they are doing. If they want to actually come and make it right, fine. I will edit my review. I returned the call within minutes and checked with them throughout the day being told I was still on the calendar for the day and received several text with the same info... I was still scheduled for the day. I had Will Fix It install my entire HVAC unit in June 2022. The duct work was not properly sealed. Fast forward to today. Mold has grown inside the walls of the unit. The capacitor is rusting as well as other metals in the unit. I've been suffering from allergies and severe headaches so I decided to have someone come clean my ducts. I bought a new Carrier less than a year old. I had to call a few times for servicing as the AC is not cooling well the two bedrooms on the two opposite side. Now the machine is leaking and they put a black putting to fix it but now the machine is dripping in water from the ceiling and the platform is all wet and the closet wall has mold reaching the door jams. I am honestly shocked at the extent of poor service and the sad part is that their customer service reps were equally shocked at how poor of service or lack thereof my family received. Our AC went out and my wife, 3 small children and I woke up to a hot house (87 degrees). Called "Will Fix it" in the morning and they assured me that since we had 3 small children they would prioritize our need and definitely take care of us no later than 2pm. We never received a call from dispatch or a tech. Well x6 follow up calls from us and 10 hours later (now 8pm) we have YET to hear from dispatch or tech or a manager which was promised to us multiple times. Each time we called, the service reps were equally appalled at the lack of contact and even they were unable to get dispatch on the line.... We will NEVER EVER use "Will Fix it" for ANYTHING and we will absolutely make sure that nobody we know ever uses them either. We got ahold of Beyer Air Conditioning this evening and their dispatch contacted us in less than 2 minutes after we got off the phone with them and guaranteed a response. Unfortunately I had an extremely bad experience recently with Will Fix It. Thought I had done things right, researched, looked at different co's for new AC & insulation installation. AC was installed but then next morning we did not have hot water & stove not working. Found out after handyman came out that gas was not turned back on. So this required a 2nd call, they did come out same day & turned gas back on. I had to ask them when they were going to do insulation install, scheduled it for following Wed bet 10a & 2p. Called them at 1pm to check & was told they couldn't do it because city had to do inspection. Not sure why they scheduled the install if they couldn't do it until city came out. Inspector came out 2 days later & found 11 corrections that were needed, inside & out. They came out & did corrections. They called me on Mon, said need to schedule f/u inspection, scheduled for Thurs bet 8a & 5p. Called AC co & they confirmed it is scheduled for today, have not heard from inspector but they will call me. I called the city to confirm & I'm told they do not have inspection scheduled for today. Called AC co back & now I'm told "someone removed it", someone canceled it", "don't know what happened". I was going to use them to check our water heater but at this point I don't trust their services. I hope I can find someone to come out and do routine checkup. Be aware of this company !!! We had a water leak and had to shut off the water at the main. Called Thursday and was put on the schedule for 2-4 the next day. Was contacted at 4:45pm Friday, the day of the appointment, informing us that they will not make it after all. After I pled for them to send a plumber out, they sent a technician out at 7pm, only to tell us he did not have the right tools for the job. He said he would come back 10am the next day. Arrives late at 1:30pm and after an hour stated that he has to leave because he has plans for that night. He said he could put me back in the schedule for sometime after Monday. He said he would need a crew of a couple of guys for 8-10 hours to find the leak. I would need to prepay for this at $350 per hour. This would also mean 4+ days without water. Totally unacceptable. I was extremely upset so I started digging in the yard to find the leak myself. It took me 20 minutes to locate it and then to expose the area. During this time the technician just stood by and watched me do it myself. Pretty sad a 58 year old man puts this young guy to shame. Yep, I was sore for a while afterwards and needed the assistance of some Tylenol but gotta do what you gotta do to get water back on. Photo credit to my wife. After I exposed the leak, he told me he did not have the right parts to make the fix. It's 1/2" pipe, pretty common materials and should be on his truck. The next day a different technician came out and made the repair. I agreed on the price of $540 even though I did part of the work but I was just wanting to get past this experience. Also did not want to stiff the company so I took the higher ground. I called the following day 3 times to talk to a Manager or the QC person but of course, no response. We called and they re-scheduled us for Sunday, which we thought was odd. They did not show up. When we called them, they apologized and said they don't do that type of call on Sundays. We were finally able to re-schedule. We called over a week ago and they scheduled us for today from 12:00-4:00 pm. They just called us and told us they were not going to make it and offered to re-schedule us for the end of May. This makes 3 days of wasted time for us. I guess our time is not as valuable. I have to say, this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. For the past two years, I have experienced ongoing issues with my AC unit, which is only three years old. Two months ago, I arranged for a technician to address the cooling problem. He informed me that the coolant was low, and after paying over $900, I found myself in the same situation just two months later, with my house at 85 degrees. A different technician claimed we had a leak, estimating a repair cost of $2600. However, after speaking with the owner, I learned that both the part and labor were covered under warranty, and an appointment was rescheduled for the next day. Here we are three days later, with multiple reschedules and no communication to confirm my availability--my AC remains unfixed. I've made numerous calls requesting to speak with a manager, only to be told each time that they would have someone email me. Days have gone by without a response, despite my persistent follow-ups. The level of frustration is beyond belief, and still, my AC issue remains unresolved. After posting the review above, I received a callback stating that someone would come out to fix the A/C this week. However, no one has arrived to replace the part. I have called numerous times requesting to speak with management, but every representative refuses to put someone from management on the line. I even called with the homeowner, an elderly man, on the line, but they still declined to assist us. They promised that someone would call me back, but no one has. This has been by far the worst experience, and we're not even in the hottest months yet. Over the years, "Will Fix It Repair" has declined.  Despite investing in radiant barriers and a $12K+ HVAC system, my unit has never worked properly--12+ service attempts later, it still struggles with high humidity alerts and fails to maintain a comfortable climate. A Carrier-certified third party found that I was sold an oversized 5-ton system instead of the correct 4-ton unit, leading to ongoing issues. I've submitted their findings and requested corrective action, including compensation for diagnostic expenses. This level of oversight is unacceptable. I contracted with Will Fix it to replace the HVAC system in my home, I had rooms that wouldn't not cool and rooms that were freezing cold, in the summer and reverse in the winter. The crew showed up at the date and time scheduled and replaced the system, showed us how the rooms were temp wise promised if they differ by more than a few degrees they would be right out and make it right. sounded great, A few months later the system shut down, I called will fix it and they sent a Tech right away (next day), The Tech put Tape on a door/panel due to it wasn't closing properly. Once again, the system shut down, Tech came out "switch was loose", This time he stated problem with screws, he put "larger screws with plumbers' sealant to tighten them up" Third Time; Tech's response "drain lines too short, instead of replacing them however he chose to zip tie the line to the drain pan using the weight of the drain pan to pull down the line allowing the condensation to drain. I called will fix it numerous times' because zip tie to fix a $15000.00 hvac system instead of replacing the " too short" lines no. I couldn't get past the person answering the phone and no one would return my calls, I then called Home Depot, (Will fix it was selling through home depot), they called will fix it and then informed me I would be getting a call from will fix it and there would be someone out to inspect the work neither happened. I again made an appointment will fix it sent out a "supervisor"/tech he did replace the plumbing and followed it down finding a clog also added additional sensors great. week later another leak. Leak from drain pan that someone had installed cracked and used epoxy to "fix" the crack, was told 50 days to get the new drain pan, A 66 year old man with a hip replacement having to climb up into the attack every three days to empty a plastic drain pan after the first month I called was told would receive a return call once again never happened, The last phone call was a week ago I called was told instead of fifty days it is Fifty Business Days, (I did not know delivery trucks or planes did not work on weekends), they were "going to contact management", however for the outcome as normal I did not get a call from anyone. Will Fix it will send a Tech out to your home quickly, that's great, however it seems to be the quality of their work that comes into question (at least in my case), and the lack of concern from there management. I have no resolution at least it is warrantied' (with will fix it), I also keep a $240. Maintenace plan with them the reason being when you call the very first question they ask is "when was the last time it was serviced". Would I recommend Will Fix it, NO, go to any other Company but them, I now have a $15000. headache, and by the way the rooms, are the same some hot some cold. read more

Don't ever call Will Fix it. They diagnosed my AC needed a new compressor that was under warranty. With the warranty and added Freon my estimate was $3,000. I usually check reviews before contacting a company for any kind of service. However, while shopping at Home Depot I was offered this complete tune up and service for my AC unit. Unfortunately this Will Fixit Company has a problem with their scheduling. I was contacted by text message for a particular time period but because we don't answer our phone to unknown numbers they never showed up. Yet I called to verify that we would be home all day. I also told them to contact us by text message. They did but apparently when I called again, several times, I was told no one reads the messages. I re scheduled for later that evening and no one showed up. The next morning I called once again to schedule another appointment. No one ever reached out nor returned my request to talk to management. I finally cancelled out of frustration. Finally I read their reviews and they have a pile of negative reviews. Get a second opinion and do not fall for their sales pitch. I moved into my house in May of last year and saw a leak in my garage ceiling and my handyman recommended having it looked at by an HVAC company. The technician said the unit needed to be replaced immediately. Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly what he said, but I mentioned rust. A salesman came out later that day to go over replacement options. He tried to sell me units between $15K - 20K, pressuring me to buy the middle options and even did the standard "I'll call my boss to see what type of discount I can get" while on speaker phone and that I had to decide that day. In the 2 years I worked in property management, HVAC companies I worked with emailed options to review on my own. I also had 2 HVAC units replaced at my previous houses and the technicians went over prices with me. I got a second opinion from an HVAC repairman recommended by a family member. He said my HVAC unit didn't need to be replaced at this time. My HVAC unit is still going strong. Update: Since my service with them last May, they have been calling about specials they are having and nonstop robo calls. The robo calls have been once a week. I have spoken to 6 reps requesting to be put on their Do Not Call list. After I talked to the 3rd rep over the summer, they stopped calling (although the robo calls never stopped). The First Sign of Trouble: Freezing Up About a year later, in September, we started having issues with the unit freezing up. When I arrived at 5:12 pm, their doors were locked, and my frustrations mounted. By Saturday morning, the lack of urgency became glaringly clear. I called to ask if my situation was flagged as urgent (due to three asthmatic individuals in my home) but was told that it wasn't. This after having clearly communicated the medical concern multiple times. The appointment window came and was almost done with no clear ETA, and finally, someone showed up just after 1:30 pm. Jose to the Rescue, But the Issues Persist I want to take a moment to acknowledge the one bright spot in this experience--Jose, the technician who came out on Saturday. He was professional, helpful, and did his best to address the situation. However, the company as a whole continued to fall short in terms of customer service. It was discovered that the unit now has a leak in the evaporator coil, and replacing the freon would cost us an additional $2,354. The Financial Toll: A Nearly $16,000 Investment, Wasted This is the point where I became truly disillusioned. After paying almost $16,000 for a new AC system, we've already spent over $4,400 on repairs--on a unit that's not even two years old. This doesn't include the frustration, lost time, and inconvenience caused by constant service calls. Unanswered Calls and Lack of Accountability After relaying the situation to my husband, he attempted to call Will Fix It again to speak to a manager. I feel like a sucker for losing that, but obviously many more have had it worse here. I was lucky to get suspicious about the technicians' recommendations and didn't commit until I could research. There is something VERY wrong with this company -- beware of their predatory practices! Our first contact with their scheduler was fine -- very friendly, seemingly honest man. Then the crew came out to assess the situation and provide a bid (install a water softener and new water heater). Their bid was OUTRAGEOUS! $50,000.00 more than the second bid we got from a reputable company! That's right -- $50,000! Not only was the bid laughable, but they tried exerting serious pressure to accept the bid in the moment. Was told my AC was the problem. Spent thousands of dollars to install new one that is leaking. The call center doesn't even have dispatch numbers.
