i purchased & had a new heating & air conditioning unit installed thu Will Fix It last month. My new unit is just over a month old. A week ago, I noticed the heat was not working. I called them & they got a tech out the same day. The tech "fixed" the issue. i thought this was great, until....during the cold front that TX recieved, my heat once again was not working. I called them yesterday. They scheduled a tech to come out between 8am & 12pm. Not ideal, but I understand they are probably busier than usual during this cold front. alas, I patiently wait until morning so someone could fix my heat. Here is where my disappointment lies, a tech never showed up during my scheduled appointment time. I called Will Fix It almost an hour after my scheduled time to ask for an update. I was told by the phone rep they would contact dispatch & dispatch would get me an update. another 2 hours go by and still nothing. I call again & ask what is going on? There has been no communication whatsoever. No hey we will be late. No hey, we aren't going to make it and need to reschedule. Nothing. Its now almost 8pm and I've spent the entire coldest weekend of this year inside an extremely cold house. While this is a huge inconvenience for me, I will survive this weekend. I am highly disappointed in the company's lack of communication. Not to mention that my new equipment is only a month old & I should NOT be experiencing issues with it. I bought a new Carrier less than a year old. I had to call a few times for servicing as the AC is not cooling well the two bedrooms on the two opposite side. Now the machine is leaking and they put a black putting to fix it but now the machine is dripping in water from the ceiling and the platform is all wet and the closet wall has mold reaching the door jams. I just have lots of issue with this machine. The last technician has escalated my concern to management. I have not been contacted yet. Save your sanity. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. We just had them install a brand-new HVAC system in August and have had nothing but problems. Just this past week, I have had them scheduled to come out 5 times (bc their ductwork patchwork blows out within hours of "repair"), with 3 no shows. After canceling my entire schedule and sitting around waiting all day, they tell me I am not even on the schedule, despite getting text and email reminders of the scheduled appointment that day. They give great lip service and then just don't show up. Still waiting on the install supervisor to come out, per their recommendation... 2 of the no shows... I am honestly shocked at the extent of poor service and the sad part is that their customer service reps were equally shocked at how poor of service or lack thereof my family received. Our AC went out and my wife, 3 small children and I woke up to a hot house (87 degrees). Called "Will Fix it" in the morning and they assured me that since we had 3 small children they would prioritize our need and definitely take care of us no later than 2pm. We never received a call from dispatch or a tech. Well x6 follow up calls from us and 10 hours later (now 8pm) we have YET to hear from dispatch or tech or a manager which was promised to us multiple times. Each time we called, the service reps were equally appalled at the lack of contact and even they were unable to get dispatch on the line.... We will NEVER EVER use "Will Fix it" for ANYTHING and we will absolutely make sure that nobody we know ever uses them either. We got ahold of Beyer Air Conditioning this evening and their dispatch contacted us in less than 2 minutes after we got off the phone with them and guaranteed a response. Unfortunately I had an extremely bad experience recently with Will Fix It. Thought I had done things right, researched, looked at different co's for new AC & insulation installation. AC was installed but then next morning we did not have hot water & stove not working. Found out after handyman came out that gas was not turned back on. So this required a 2nd call, they did come out same day & turned gas back on. I had to ask them when they were going to do insulation install, scheduled it for following Wed bet 10a & 2p. Called them at 1pm to check & was told they couldn't do it because city had to do inspection. Not sure why they scheduled the install if they couldn't do it until city came out. Inspector came out 2 days later & found 11 corrections that were needed, inside & out. They came out & did corrections. They called me on Mon, said need to schedule f/u inspection, scheduled for Thurs bet 8a & 5p. Called AC co & they confirmed it is scheduled for today, have not heard from inspector but they will call me. I called the city to confirm & I'm told they do not have inspection scheduled for today. Called AC co back & now I'm told "someone removed it", someone canceled it", "don't know what happened". I was going to use them to check our water heater but at this point I don't trust their services. I hope I can find someone to come out and do routine checkup. I wish I had an option for zero stars. We called over a month ago to get our AC serviced. They gave us an appointment for the following Friday. They did not show up. We called and they re-scheduled us for Sunday, which we thought was odd. They did not show up. When we called them, they apologized and said they don't do that type of call on Sundays. We were finally able to re-schedule. We called over a week ago and they scheduled us for today from 12:00-4:00 pm. They just called us and told us they were not going to make it and offered to re-schedule us for the end of May. This makes 3 days of wasted time for us. I guess our time is not as valuable. Over the years, "Will Fix It Repair" has declined.  Despite investing in radiant barriers and a $12K+ HVAC system, my unit has never worked properly--12+ service attempts later, it still struggles with high humidity alerts and fails to maintain a comfortable climate. A Carrier-certified third party found that I was sold an oversized 5-ton system instead of the correct 4-ton unit, leading to ongoing issues. I've submitted their findings and requested corrective action, including compensation for diagnostic expenses. This level of oversight is unacceptable. I have to say, this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. For the past two years, I have experienced ongoing issues with my AC unit, which is only three years old. Two months ago, I arranged for a technician to address the cooling problem. He informed me that the coolant was low, and after paying over $900, I found myself in the same situation just two months later, with my house at 85 degrees. A different technician claimed we had a leak, estimating a repair cost of $2600. However, after speaking with the owner, I learned that both the part and labor were covered under warranty, and an appointment was rescheduled for the next day. Here we are three days later, with multiple reschedules and no communication to confirm my availability--my AC remains unfixed. I've made numerous calls requesting to speak with a manager, only to be told each time that they would have someone email me. Days have gone by without a response, despite my persistent follow-ups. The level of frustration is beyond belief, and still, my AC issue remains unresolved. After posting the review above, I received a callback stating that someone would come out to fix the A/C this week. However, no one has arrived to replace the part. I have called numerous times requesting to speak with management, but every representative refuses to put someone from management on the line. I even called with the homeowner, an elderly man, on the line, but they still declined to assist us. They promised that someone would call me back, but no one has. I contracted with Will Fix it to replace the HVAC system in my home, I had rooms that wouldn't not cool and rooms that were freezing cold, in the summer and reverse in the winter. The crew showed up at the date and time scheduled and replaced the system, showed us how the rooms were temp wise promised if they differ by more than a few degrees they would be right out and make it right. sounded great, A few months later the system shut down, I called will fix it and they sent a Tech right away (next day), The Tech put Tape on a door/panel due to it wasn't closing properly. Once again, the system shut down, Tech came out "switch was loose", This time he stated problem with screws, he put "larger screws with plumbers' sealant to tighten them up" Third Time; Tech's response "drain lines too short, instead of replacing them however he chose to zip tie the line to the drain pan using the weight of the drain pan to pull down the line allowing the condensation to drain. I called will fix it numerous times' because zip tie to fix a $15000.00 hvac system instead of replacing the " too short" lines no. I couldn't get past the person answering the phone and no one would return my calls, I then called Home Depot, (Will fix it was selling through home depot), they called will fix it and then informed me I would be getting a call from will fix it and there would be someone out to inspect the work neither happened. I again made an appointment will fix it sent out a "supervisor"/tech he did replace the plumbing and followed it down finding a clog also added additional sensors great. week later another leak. Leak from drain pan that someone had installed cracked and used epoxy to "fix" the crack, was told 50 days to get the new drain pan, A 66 year old man with a hip replacement having to climb up into the attack every three days to empty a plastic drain pan after the first month I called was told would receive a return call once again never happened, The last phone call was a week ago I called was told instead of fifty days it is Fifty Business Days, (I did not know delivery trucks or planes did not work on weekends), they were "going to contact management", however for the outcome as normal I did not get a call from anyone. Will Fix it will send a Tech out to your home quickly, that's great, however it seems to be the quality of their work that comes into question (at least in my case), and the lack of concern from there management. I have no resolution at least it is warrantied' (with will fix it), I also keep a $240. Maintenace plan with them the reason being when you call the very first question they ask is "when was the last time it was serviced". Would I recommend Will Fix it, NO, go to any other Company but them, I now have a $15000. headache, and by the way the rooms, are the same some hot some cold. read more

Unfortunately this Will Fixit Company has a problem with their scheduling. I was contacted by text message for a particular time period but because we don't answer our phone to unknown numbers they never showed up. Yet I called to verify that we would be home all day. I also told them to contact us by text message. They did but apparently when I called again, several times, I was told no one reads the messages. I re scheduled for later that evening and no one showed up. The next morning I called once again to schedule another appointment. No one ever reached out nor returned my request to talk to management. I finally cancelled out of frustration. Finally I read their reviews and they have a pile of negative reviews. Get a second opinion and do not fall for their sales pitch. I moved into my house in May of last year and saw a leak in my garage ceiling and my handyman recommended having it looked at by an HVAC company. The technician said the unit needed to be replaced immediately. Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly what he said, but I mentioned rust. A salesman came out later that day to go over replacement options. He tried to sell me units between $15K - 20K, pressuring me to buy the middle options and even did the standard "I'll call my boss to see what type of discount I can get" while on speaker phone and that I had to decide that day. In the 2 years I worked in property management, HVAC companies I worked with emailed options to review on my own. I also had 2 HVAC units replaced at my previous houses and the technicians went over prices with me. I got a second opinion from an HVAC repairman recommended by a family member. He said my HVAC unit didn't need to be replaced at this time. My HVAC unit is still going strong. Update: Since my service with them last May, they have been calling about specials they are having and nonstop robo calls. The robo calls have been once a week. I have spoken to 6 reps requesting to be put on their Do Not Call list. After I talked to the 3rd rep over the summer, they stopped calling (although the robo calls never stopped). The reps started calling again in September: the 4th rep was 9/16, then 9/18, and again yesterday, each time requesting to be taken off their list to call. DO NOT USE THEM!!! I have called 5 times in 3 weeks asking for a manager to call me back so I can complain, and they never do, so now I am coming here. They installed an entirely new AC system last year (outside and in the attic), to include a radiant barrier, with the promise that it would cut my energy bill in half. A few months ago I started having issues with the AC not keeping the temperature I set it on, and then the drip pan started filling. The came out multiple times, each costing me a $99 fee, but they never fixed it. They suggested a new thermostat, even though a new one was installed with the unit, so I declined service; cost $99. Then, they said I needed to replace the filter, which I had actually just done, so I declined service; cost $99. The last time they came out the guy asked me if I wanted him to pour water down the drain line, and I replied "If that's what needs to be done". He went outside and got a bucket and a gallon of water, but before he went in the attic I asked him how much this was going to cost me. He didn't know, so he went out to his truck and came back in to tell me almost $600!!!. I said no way, then paid the $99 and sent him away. I then had their competitor (John Wayne) come out who IMMEDIATELY discovered that the backside of the attic unit (that was not easily accessible) had the metal panel WIDE OPEN, pouring cold air into the attic. I paid him his $39 fee and sent him away so that Will(not)FIxIt could take care of it since there's a warranty. I then had to have them come out two more times before they got it fixed right, but paid no fee. However, now I have called FIVE times asking for a manager/supervisor to call me so that I can complain and ask for at least one of the $99 fees I paid to be returned, yet NO MANAGER HAS EVER CALLED ME BACK, even though I keep being told that they would. He was professional, helpful, and did his best to address the situation. However, the company as a whole continued to fall short in terms of customer service. It was discovered that the unit now has a leak in the evaporator coil, and replacing the freon would cost us an additional $2,354. The Financial Toll: A Nearly $16,000 Investment, Wasted This is the point where I became truly disillusioned. After paying almost $16,000 for a new AC system, we've already spent over $4,400 on repairs--on a unit that's not even two years old. As of this week, I have been ripped off and very disappointed in Will Fix It. A couple of months ago I bought a package deal with a tankless water heater/water softener/RO system. It was determined that the power cord would not be long enough for the water heater to plug in so he added in an additional $500 to install a closer outlet (knowing it wouldn't be that much but preferred I get money back than pay more at the end). The crew comes to install everything and they charge me an extra fee for that same outlet and I explained that it was included in that bulk price, and he wasn't hearing it so I decided to take it up with someone back in the office who can handle administrative things better. They told me they'd have someone call me back, but they never did--big surprise. Moving on to last week, my shower head in the master bath had a slow leak for a while. Because I had the plumbing membership or whatever with Will Fix It I decided to use them for this plumbing job. The plumber ended up changing the cartridge. I called and said it still leaked so he tried a 2nd one and it continued leaking worse so that means they needed to open up the wall on the other side to do work. He charged me $600 for a Moen cartridge! He said that's about the average going rate everywhere. I just want it done so I pay and decide to have someone else come in and estimate the work inside the wall behind the shower. The Jon Wayne guy said their cartridges were just under $300! And I thought they were supposed to be the expensive ones. So now this is 2x Will Fix It has ripped me off. I called yesterday to schedule a simple AC tune up and was scheduled the following day between 8-12 to receive the service. There was no indication they would not be able to support. In Sept. 2023, after moving into a new house in SAT one of the HVAC units (2) just die? Will Fix It responded to do a diagnostic (charged $99), they stated unit too old & would recommend purchasing new unit. Later a salesman arrive for a consult, he was so unprofessional. The salesman did not do any inspections of the home prior to his sales pitch, he just sat in my dining room and did his pitch. He did not check current broken unit, did not check duct system and continue to pressure me to buy unit, kept mentioning that the promo would end the following day! They're the vendor for Home Depot in my area and was pitching a promo purchase for $12,000 HVAC unit with a 24 mo. repay with no interest, they were also due to install an exhaust vent on ceiling of garage for the same price. Later was told that the vent could not be installed since the house had concrete roof. Being highly frustrated with a broken HVAC after moving into new home and suffering for a very HOT summer months without AC to half of the house, I succumbed to the pressure and gave in to the sales pitch. During the installation phase of the work the installers were just as unprofessional. They performed shoddy workmanship, as they climbed into my attic they broke the access cover and just left it broken. The access was through a closet, clothes were hanging on both sides, they did not cover anything and a lot of dust and broken pieces ended up on top of the clothes & floor. Upon completing of their work I noticed that NO air was circulating in most of the places. They did something (?) with the attic unit but air was still inconsistent in some of the rooms (living, office and bath rooms). During the next three months they came back (after being called) and supposedly unit was fixed (it wasn't), finally, on the fourth visit there was some improvement in the flowing of air, not a super flow but acceptable. A year later an inspector for the city came by to inspect their work and found a couple of discrepancies of their work. Months later, two workers for WILL FIX IT, came by and supposedly fix the discrepancies. Several times during this whole bad experience I asked to speak to a Supervisor, my requests where NEVER acknowledge. Will Fix It should change its name to "Will Try and Rip You Off". This company is the absolute worst, so don't waste time dealing with them. I called them out yesterday to give me a quote to replace a broken garbage disposal. The technician went out to his truck and came back in a few minutes with three quotes. The first was for $371.00 to remove the disposal and empty the contents, to try and 'clear the jam' as he called it. The second was to replace the existing unit with a 1/2 horsepower Badger, which retails at Home Depot for $139.00 and do that he wanted $779.00. The third and final quote was to replace the existing unit with a 3/4 horsepower Badger which anyone can purchase on amazon for $129.00. For this option to replace the garbage disposal they gave me a quote of $1080.00. I showed the guy where the door was. read more

Purchase a new AC unit with this company on April 15, it's May 22 and the unit is still not working. This is unacceptable, we have live in Texas where the weather is over 90 and inside the home it's 85. Horrible company in my opinion, keep giving excuses to why it's not working. Less not forget the flooding that was caused by the installation crew because they didn't drain all the water which in returned caused water damage. The pipes for the unit inside the home froze up twice and they are still unsure of the cause of this. They are not sure if it's a leak somewhere or it's a system malfunction. If the problem is not resolved by the end of this month we will be suing the company. read more

Had a tech come out because my fan motor went out. I was unable to get the correct replacement quickly, so I called to get an estimate. I explained the whole situation, however the tech wanted to start in the attic, and opened up the panel inside. He stated the coils were so bad that it is impossible not to have a huge Freon leak. I had a tech out the day before that checked my Freon, and it wasn't even low. How could I have guaranteed leaks without low Freon? This tech did not even check the Freon after stating that. I explained I really wanted to replace the fan motor, that the house would cool. The tech gets on his iPad and goes out to his truck to get a new motor to put in. I have priced motors for my unit, they range from 130 to 200 dollars at the high end. The tech quotes me almost 1300 dollars for 30 minutes of labor to change the fan motor. I stared at him ready to ask how stupid he thought I was, but then just declined the service. They waived the "diagnostic fee" after my wife had complained that they didn't even diagnose anything, but we had to get a whole home install quote in order to get the fee waived. The guy that came out for the quote was super nice, and kept stating that the company"wanted to take care of me." I got the quote, and am waiting for others before I make a decision. The big thing that sticks out to me though, is if the company wanted to "take care of me" why was my only option to get ac running the same day to buy a motor for 200 and pay a man 1,100 dollars for literally 30 minutes of labor for removing the fan motor and installing a new one? If I was actually taken care of on the smaller repair, I would probably not be so hesitant to use them for a new install, which I stated I was looking to have done in October. read more

This company is horrible DO NOT CALL for 24 hour service. I called at 530 in the evening they said some they would have someone out between 6 pm and 9! Pm. They never showed up and only got answering machine when I tried calls at 915 pm. This company sucks I will never call them in future and advise others do don't as well. read more
