DO NOT USE THEM!!! I have called 5 times in 3 weeks asking for a manager to call me back so I can complain, and they never do, so now I am coming here. They installed an entirely new AC system last year (outside and in the attic), to include a radiant barrier, with the promise that it would cut my energy bill in half. A few months ago I started having issues with the AC not keeping the temperature I set it on, and then the drip pan started filling. The came out multiple times, each costing me a $99 fee, but they never fixed it. They suggested a new thermostat, even though a new one was installed with the unit, so I declined service; cost $99. Then, they said I needed to replace the filter, which I had actually just done, so I declined service; cost $99. The last time they came out the guy asked me if I wanted him to pour water down the drain line, and I replied "If that's what needs to be done". He went outside and got a bucket and a gallon of water, but before he went in the attic I asked him how much this was going to cost me. He didn't know, so he went out to his truck and came back in to tell me almost $600!!!. I said no way, then paid the $99 and sent him away. I then had their competitor (John Wayne) come out who IMMEDIATELY discovered that the backside of the attic unit (that was not easily accessible) had the metal panel WIDE OPEN, pouring cold air into the attic. I paid him his $39 fee and sent him away so that Will(not)FIxIt could take care of it since there's a warranty. I then had to have them come out two more times before they got it fixed right, but paid no fee. However, now I have called FIVE times asking for a manager/supervisor to call me so that I can complain and ask for at least one of the $99 fees I paid to be returned, yet NO MANAGER HAS EVER CALLED ME BACK, even though I keep being told that they would. Called in a service request for a trouble code because we purchased the maintenance plan with the new system. the operator told me there was a window from 10 - 2; I agreed that was a good time; however, when no one showed for that time period we later received an email with a service time from 2 - 6 pm; we called at 7:30 PM to see if the service was still going to accomplished... we were assured he was running late, but he would be there... no one showed... no phone call. As of this week, I have been ripped off and very disappointed in Will Fix It. A couple of months ago I bought a package deal with a tankless water heater/water softener/RO system. It was determined that the power cord would not be long enough for the water heater to plug in so he added in an additional $500 to install a closer outlet (knowing it wouldn't be that much but preferred I get money back than pay more at the end). The crew comes to install everything and they charge me an extra fee for that same outlet and I explained that it was included in that bulk price, and he wasn't hearing it so I decided to take it up with someone back in the office who can handle administrative things better. They told me they'd have someone call me back, but they never did--big surprise. Moving on to last week, my shower head in the master bath had a slow leak for a while. Because I had the plumbing membership or whatever with Will Fix It I decided to use them for this plumbing job. The plumber ended up changing the cartridge. I called and said it still leaked so he tried a 2nd one and it continued leaking worse so that means they needed to open up the wall on the other side to do work. He charged me $600 for a Moen cartridge! He said that's about the average going rate everywhere. I just want it done so I pay and decide to have someone else come in and estimate the work inside the wall behind the shower. The Jon Wayne guy said their cartridges were just under $300! And I thought they were supposed to be the expensive ones. So now this is 2x Will Fix It has ripped me off. April 10, 2025 I wish I had seen the reviews on WILL FIX IT Plumbing and Air Conditioning, in San Antonio, TX, before I had work done by them! In Sept. 2023, after moving into a new house in SAT one of the HVAC units (2) just die? Will Fix It responded to do a diagnostic (charged $99), they stated unit too old & would recommend purchasing new unit. Later a salesman arrive for a consult, he was so unprofessional. The salesman did not do any inspections of the home prior to his sales pitch, he just sat in my dining room and did his pitch. He did not check current broken unit, did not check duct system and continue to pressure me to buy unit, kept mentioning that the promo would end the following day! They're the vendor for Home Depot in my area and was pitching a promo purchase for $12,000 HVAC unit with a 24 mo. repay with no interest, they were also due to install an exhaust vent on ceiling of garage for the same price. Later was told that the vent could not be installed since the house had concrete roof. Being highly frustrated with a broken HVAC after moving into new home and suffering for a very HOT summer months without AC to half of the house, I succumbed to the pressure and gave in to the sales pitch. During the installation phase of the work the installers were just as unprofessional. They performed shoddy workmanship, as they climbed into my attic they broke the access cover and just left it broken. The access was through a closet, clothes were hanging on both sides, they did not cover anything and a lot of dust and broken pieces ended up on top of the clothes & floor. Upon completing of their work I noticed that NO air was circulating in most of the places. They did something (?) with the attic unit but air was still inconsistent in some of the rooms (living, office and bath rooms). During the next three months they came back (after being called) and supposedly unit was fixed (it wasn't), finally, on the fourth visit there was some improvement in the flowing of air, not a super flow but acceptable. A year later an inspector for the city came by to inspect their work and found a couple of discrepancies of their work. Months later, two workers for WILL FIX IT, came by and supposedly fix the discrepancies. Several times during this whole bad experience I asked to speak to a Supervisor, my requests where NEVER acknowledge. Purchase a new AC unit with this company on April 15, it's May 22 and the unit is still not working. This is unacceptable, we have live in Texas where the weather is over 90 and inside the home it's 85. Horrible company in my opinion, keep giving excuses to why it's not working. Less not forget the flooding that was caused by the installation crew because they didn't drain all the water which in returned caused water damage. The pipes for the unit inside the home froze up twice and they are still unsure of the cause of this. They are not sure if it's a leak somewhere or it's a system malfunction. I've run into challenges with Willfixit before but have tried to keep my business with them since they did my original AC install. Today was the final straw. I called yesterday to schedule a simple AC tune up and was scheduled the following day between 8-12 to receive the service. There was no indication they would not be able to support. Two hours into my project service window on the following day, they call and tell me they are pushing all of their tune ups to September and further clarified it would be the end of September. Really?!! They can't support an AC tuneup for over a month and a half?! Ridiculous. I guess it's time to take my business elsewhere. read more

Had a tech come out because my fan motor went out. I was unable to get the correct replacement quickly, so I called to get an estimate. I explained the whole situation, however the tech wanted to start in the attic, and opened up the panel inside. He stated the coils were so bad that it is impossible not to have a huge Freon leak. I had a tech out the day before that checked my Freon, and it wasn't even low. How could I have guaranteed leaks without low Freon? This tech did not even check the Freon after stating that. I explained I really wanted to replace the fan motor, that the house would cool. The tech gets on his iPad and goes out to his truck to get a new motor to put in. I have priced motors for my unit, they range from 130 to 200 dollars at the high end. The tech quotes me almost 1300 dollars for 30 minutes of labor to change the fan motor. I stared at him ready to ask how stupid he thought I was, but then just declined the service. They waived the "diagnostic fee" after my wife had complained that they didn't even diagnose anything, but we had to get a whole home install quote in order to get the fee waived. The guy that came out for the quote was super nice, and kept stating that the company"wanted to take care of me." I got the quote, and am waiting for others before I make a decision. The big thing that sticks out to me though, is if the company wanted to "take care of me" why was my only option to get ac running the same day to buy a motor for 200 and pay a man 1,100 dollars for literally 30 minutes of labor for removing the fan motor and installing a new one? If I was actually taken care of on the smaller repair, I would probably not be so hesitant to use them for a new install, which I stated I was looking to have done in October. read more

I called them out yesterday to give me a quote to replace a broken garbage disposal. The technician went out to his truck and came back in a few minutes with three quotes. The first was for $371.00 to remove the disposal and empty the contents, to try and 'clear the jam' as he called it. The second was to replace the existing unit with a 1/2 horsepower Badger, which retails at Home Depot for $139.00 and do that he wanted $779.00. The third and final quote was to replace the existing unit with a 3/4 horsepower Badger which anyone can purchase on amazon for $129.00. They finally arrive, and they do the needed repairs, but there was a problem with my bill. I have been calling to speak with a manager for over two weeks now, when one did call, he said it was not in his swim lane, and he would have someone else call, and to date no one has. I have left my number with several reps, and with chat reps, as will as Facebook messenger, and still have not resolved my billing issue. Initially called "Will Fix It" to have a normal AC tuneup done. It was discovered I had a leak since it was low in the Refrigerant. So they talked me into buying a new HVAC. I also had a puddle of water outside where the drain drips. It created a puddle near the house. I had to manually empty the water. Anyway, after they installed my new Carrier HVAC it works great. But I still have that water collecting. I called them and they said they would be coming today (July 5) between 8:00am and 12:00 noon. But they have not even called and it is already 11:55am. The sales manager immediately got me in the phone and actively tried to rectify the situation. He was extremely reasonable and gave me a great price on the bundle. Absolutely was a testament to fantastic customer service. A second team came out with a second unit and worked hours to get both systems up and running. Every member of Will-fix-it that was present at my house was knowledgeable, effective, and dedicated. They kept me up to date on all issues, and how they were progressing. After having a no-show appointment scheduled, trying to reschedule and was told that the Main Call center number doesn't have access to scheduling so I wasn't gonna get seen anyways, was then scheduled by an installation specialist to have it repaired between a four hour timeframe. i've used fix it before and they were great many years ago for my new AC. They also helped me with my plumbing. When I bought my new house, I used them again but they have changed. The management is rude and completely disorganized. Plus they don't train or supervise their workers. They seem to have no idea what they're doing. They broke the lid to my toilet and replaced it with one that doesn't fit. The sewer line they put in, the soil has completely caved in where it connects to the main creating a hazard. Why is it only caving in there? My neighbor also used them, but now her bedroom is extremely hot the way they put in the vents and they never fixed it. I should've asked her before using them again. There's so many good people out there, you don't need to use a rude management who doesn't have good attention to detail or follow through. They clearly don't value their customers only money. Was going to buy a replacement Tankless water heater from Lowes . It was about $1300 . They sent out Will Fix It and they quoted $7100 to install their brand. They said Lowes tanklesss water heaters were junk. Also, the estimator checked my water pressure and said I was going to need a valve installed near the water meter as his tester showed 90+ and it had to be 80 or under to pass inspection. I bought a water pressure tester at Lowes and it showed a water pressure of 76. This is a totally unscrupulous.company, or maybe it is the estimator(salesman) read more

Home heat stress on family and me contributed to poor decision-making: normal I would repair, price out new systems, and get 3-qty quotes from different companies. Overprice Catalog: units and cost presented wear overpriced, extreme mark-up. Fault Representation: I was led to believe, I was selecting a 2-stage AC unit, but model on sale paper work was a single stage. (Only after researching model number, I was aware the purchase order had a single stage model) Installation: 2-man-installation-crew was professional and courteous but not-regular-truck was not well equipped. (They worked in uncomfortable temperatures, truck missing AC pad and shock absorbing pads.) I should not have extended the trust I had in Home Depot to their AC repair reps. I was ripped off! This company does very poor work. They were the assigned company to install our new AC. They did a terrible job, installed it incorrectly, placed the thermostat in a less than ideal place costing us hundreds of dollars in AC bills because they did it the wrong way. Came out for routine maintenance and said we had a leak. Everything was working fine before he went to inspect it. Wanted to charge 2000 to fix it. The unit they installed LAST year! We payed another company to fill it and there was no leak. The company who fixed it said the did not see a leak, and did not know why we were missing 2 lbs of freon. Hmmm. We were having some problems with our electrical outlets in various areas of our home. Since these were the only people we could find near us they came out and charged us $79 for what they call a "whole house electrical inspection" to figure out what was wrong with our outlets. The guy was maybe 21 and didn't have much of a clue what he was doing. Although very nice. He did not want to do anything that what we homeowners have already done (ie. Check outlets. Replace gfci's, and check breakers.) Now last I checked you call an electrician to do things that you yourself cannot and this was supposed to be an entire house inspection special for $79. So we opened our garage and pulled out the attic ladder and sent him on up. He was so confused on what he was looking at, he had no idea what to say other than "you don't have any power to the outlets" (duh!! that's why we called an electrician to find out why we don't have power to those outlets). Needless to say we didn't get any answers so he said that he would send me an estimate to come back with someone else to follow wires and that i may incur sheet rock damages around outlets and in garage. An estimate which I have yet to receive and here it is 3 weeks later. .. I basically paid these people to tell me something we already knew. I feel like these guys just go around doing what they call electrical inspections at 89 bucks a pop to make their money and never return to do the repair or even send estimates. Went to Lowes to price out water heaters, they offer same day install, they are contracted with Will fix it. I was told the technician would call 30 minutes prior to arrival but that didn't happen. Once he arrived the technician informed me that I needed a PRV valve per city ordinance since my house was built in 2014. He then proceeded to look at water heater and provide an estimate. The estimate was for $4400, the water heater and accessories at Lowes was $600... he just wrote parts and labor with various price options for warranty. There was no itemization, he added an expansion tank in addition to PVR valve, when in actuality the expansion tank was all that was needed. Even went as far to say that if he didn't install a PRV valve the city could inspect and lock my water down. He offered me a 10% discount and seemed to think he was providing me an actual discount. I called another plumbing company who verified no PRV valve was needed and charged me less than 1/2 the Will Fix it quote. Never again would I call this company for anything! read more
