I really enjoy coming to this restaurant! I've been here a couple times now and every time it just cheers me up. The ambiance is amazing and super trendy. You can either sit down and eat or just grab a coffee to-go. The service is always welcoming and super helpful. This most previous time I went I got the chicken salad sandwich. The bread was a little toasty for my liking and I could have went without the chips but other than that I enjoyed it. Sitting outside around this time of year is perfect! They offer reservations and walk ups. The parking lot is a tad small but there is street parking around the area and a safe walking distance. Highly recommend! read more

I wanted to go this place on a Sunday became their daily special is a roast. A roast always reminds of one of the meals I always asked my dad to make. The atmosphere is cute and modern. I was helped by a bartender who's name I didn't catch. He was friendly and welcoming. I started off with the fried oysters then got the roast. So many cocktails to choose fun but I went with the spicy margarita. The oysters were good. Not heavy on the breading. I was disappointed the roast did not come with a side so I ordered the mac and cheese. Big mistake since I was only able to take like 3 bites of it. I got so full from the roast. I love the gravy that it was covered in. The top of the mac and cheese had a nice baked crust which was the best part. I wish I had room because my plan was to try for the first time ever an Espresso Martini. Next time since I need to come back and try the other things on the menu! read more

Have been to Willas for a date night dinner and for a (paid) holiday themed closed event. Date night: Ambiance and service was great! Really enjoyed their zero-proof drink option. The food was good, and would go back for their dinner menu. Event: Decorations added to the festive energy, appetizers served were sufficient, the drink menu was unique, but I was disappointed when the specialty cocktail(s) were served in a plastic cup. For a paid event (AND paid drinks mind you) I'd expect them to keep top tier visual presentation. Not serving a themed cocktail in a glass thus adding to the presentation disrupts the picturesque idea of going to a decorated bar during the holidays. To pay $15+ for a cocktail to be served like that at a holiday event that was already ~$30 is lazy, frankly. And there were definitely glasses available as I was able to see them available for use from sitting at the bar. So if possible I'd make this a 3.5 review because I think it matters to offer consistent level of top tier service throughout different scenarios. read more

Love this little gem in Tampa. Have been here on 4 separate occasions and will absolutely be back. The drinks are always delicious, both brunches and dinners were very tasty. Some of my favorite items were the Fred's Roasted Chicken and Buttermilk Bacon Wedge salads. Brought my husband here for a date night one evening and he liked it a lot as well. Unique place that has New York City vibe. Not a large menu, but enough to be able to choose items anyone enjoys. Service is always great starting from hostesses ending with servers and I absolutely love that they had multiple employees sign a card for me wishing me a happy birthday. We finally came to Willa's for dinner. Their dinner menu options are relatively few and simple. For entrees you'll find things like steak frites, pork schnitzel, salmon, one pasta dish, and their famous rotisserie chicken which I've not had but heard it's pretty good. We started with a few snacks including the focaccia, cheese and jambon de Paris. This was the perfect amount of food to start our meal. We also tried the pork schnitzel, served with greens and a mustard sauce, and the steak frites accompanied by chimichurri. The food was simple but so good, the flavors were really on point. Their wine list is very nice, offering lots of old world wine options both by the bottle and glass. Their nonalcoholic drinks are also good, we tried the Willa's tonic and soft sangria, both slightly on the sweet side at first but very refreshing. To end our meal we had their warm, gooey, delicious chocolate chip cookie and the amaro-gato (soft serve ice cream with a shot of amaro instead of espresso). This latter dessert item was a nice surprise, the vanilla soft serve had a slight cereal taste to it which paired so well with the bitterness of the amaro. I absolutely love this restaurant and cannot recommend it enough but I do wish they added a rotating entree and dessert special to their current menu. read more

It's my second time at Willa's and again, it doesn't disappoint. We made a reservation for dinner, as we know how busy it gets, and we were plesently surprised when our table was available before our scheduled time. We opted for a couple of the "on-tap" cocktails, I went with the Willa's OG Fix and my wife went with the Strawberry Spritz. Both were light, exactly what we wanted, and complimented our meal well. As we both were looking for a slightly lighter fare for the night we chose the House Pickles to start, and a couple of the frites dinners, chicken and steak, for our entrees. We as well substituted the frites with broccolini. The meals were perfectly prepared, with the chicken being moist and flavorful, and the skirt steak cooked to order. The broccolini was covered in a chili lemon sauce, which I found to be a little overpowering, and I would order this on the side in the future. For dessert, we went with a brownie, ice cream, and an espresso martini, all perfect to close out a meal. Service was superb and attentive, and our meals were delivered quickly. I'm a sucker for small, local owned businesses. Especially those with an Instagram aesthetic and the friendliest staff. My friends and I went to Willas for a girls night out on a Thursday around 7:30pm. There was a small parking lot attached to the building but a larger gravel lot right next door. We made reservations ahead of time but this place was gathering a crowd and we did have to wait for the table to leave and be cleared. I knew I found a spot when they had aperol spritz on tap. There are small plates and snacks to share. Per Yelp, I decided to try the steak frites and it did not disappoint. The green chimichurri sauce was a flavor explosion. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our group was a little indecisive and they had recommendations and information ready based on our preferences. We had a date night dinner here, and it's one of my new favorite spots. My burger was great, and his omelette was, too, but the veggies (mushrooms, broccolini, and Caesar salad) were the standouts. They reminded us of one of our favorite NYC spots, Westville. The inside looked cute, but we ate outside because of the continuing pandemic. I really appreciated that our servers all wore masks. Spent almost 3 hours arguing with BAE about what to eat for date night. BWW's, burgers, BBQ, breakfasts? We finally decided to try out a restaurant in Soho Called The Mill. To our surprise, they weren't closed on a Tuesday evening (Hours posted on website said "open") With one member of the party extremely hangry, we finally made a last ditch effort to try the next photo encouraged suggestion on the ever so helpful app, Yelp. We were on our way to Willa's, a newer French restaurant on 310 N Rome Ave, not five minutes from our home in SOHO! A beautiful modern venue with ample bar and patio seating. The cocktails we tried were unique and delicious. I wanted to order one of everything when I first saw the flip side of the menu. Pork belly disco fries, 3 cheese macaroni, the best steak tartare I've ever had (in America) . And you'll never guess what kind of ceviche! Our hefty selection could not have been more perfect. Lest I forget our exquisite entrees. Croque' Madame and a rotisserie chicken I should honestly write my mother about. I cannot thank our knowledgeable server Joe enough for these recommendations. Saving some room for dessert was the only option. The GLUTON FREE chocolate moose cake paired perfectly with a affogato. We left Willa's with two satisfying smiles on our faces. Such a great find! My sister's friend thought we should hit it up and we just so happen to come when it was their anniversary week so they had specials and a DJ. The place has a mini cafe attached to the side and you can go through this side entrance. Once you go through it you enter in the restaurant and there's a bar. The design of the place is *chef's kiss*. Food was priced pretty well and drinks were a little bit more pricey however they aim to be more aesthetically pleasing so it makes sense. To give reference the cheapest drink is about $13. I got the Hotel National and it was divine. My sister chose the Parsley Pepper Margarita (the waiters will say its not spicy but they are lying to you lol).
