The plus side: The office is very friendly especially the woman at the front desk. They had a great selection of frames including Coach, Versace, Calvin Klein, Ed Hardy and a few other designers. Prices were a lot better than your Lens Crafters or Pearle Vision stores. My appointment was at 3 and they took me at 3:02 so there wasn't a huge wait. Dr. Conrod was extremely personable and polite and explained my many options for eye care. The negative: The tech or whomever that I first saw was really rude and possessed the listening skills of a toddler. If I have to explain to you multiple times in a five minute conversation that I mainly wear glasses and rarely wear contacts and I want to wear contacts daily and use my glasses as a back up, you really are not listening to me at all. It's frustrating to be a new patient with a new provider and have the staff treat you like you're stupid and you wouldn't possibly understand your own eye care or eye health. In a similar vein, the woman at the front desk gave me the fifth degree over my insurance plan, corrected what I said and then ended up being wrong. However she, unlike the tech or whatever, apologized and corrected her mistake. Honestly? LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS! If it wasn't for the doctor himself, I would have gone elsewhere. I'm hoping that when I go back to for my contact lens follow up, I have a better experience.

The nurse was so snarky. my mask came down under my nose and she barked at me to leave it above my nose at all times. My husband has a serious condition and was referred to an excellent specialist. My elderly mom also has a serious eye condition and was referred to excellent specialists. Sue has been helping me choose frames that are both attractive and comfortable. She accurately measures and fits the glasses. I love this office. I can't understand the negative reviews. Sometimes you get the attitude you give. No one has ever been rude to me. Only time I was referred to another doctor was when my family or I needed care this office could not provide.

After 2 unsuccessful visits to other places I was directed here. Wish I had gone here first! They accepted Medicare and quickly helped me to buy 2 new pairs of glasses, one mostly covered by Medicare. There was a $30 co-pay, which was great for my bifocals and the other pair was reasonable. Now I have both pairs ordered and will soon be wearing my new ones. Everyone at this shop was very helpful and friendly. I'm letting everyone I know about this place.

They do her exam & we go sit down for them to order the glasses and they gave me paperwork for me sign something saying insurance will cover this and that... please keep in mind that I stated numerous times that the insurance doesn't sound right as my husbands insurance through work was no longer active. They said it's pulling up so let them pay. Okay cool. I go to sign paperwork and my daughter's first name is spelled correctly, her last name isn't. My daughter's birthdate is wrong... they initially told me that the woman just copied it over wrong & it's fine... then she begins looking back and forth a bit more closely and finds that the last name is spelled this "incorrect" way... then they ask me if my name is Crystal and I say no. Suddenly everything that was covered through insurance needs to be paid. We cancelled ordering glasses with the understanding that I would just order online and then they tried to charge me for today's visit. They tried justifying it by saying they were reimbursing me for something from our previous visit that should never have been ordered to begin with. I made it clear that I wasn't paying because she has insurance that they apparently no longer take & it's not on me that they ran the wrong one. I did walk out with my refund from the previous visit and I plan to reschedule my daughter's visit with another business. Any business that is okay with brushing off the fact that they were running the wrong insurance as if it's no big deal and has still tried to run it in the beginning is shady.
