Our Lennox AC unit died last weekend on Saturday. We called a different shop (I will call them "SalesExperts") and they sent a tech on Sunday. As soon as that tech walked up to the unit he said, its old so you should not waste your time and just replace it. After telling him I was willing to spend some money to fix it he proceeded. He quoted me $450 in parts plus his $150 service call ($600+). He tried a few parts and said he could not get the unit to work and would send the sales guy over. The sales guy showed up a few hours later quoting $13,000 - $21,000 for a new furnace and AC unit!! Based on a recommendation from a friend, we then had Dave from Williams KoolHeat come by for a quote. What a difference!! He truly understands customer service! His quote for was less than half of the other guy and he was still providing high end equipment! While he was here, he also said I can fix your old one if you prefer. $280 dollars later, my old unit was running like new again and Williams KoolHeat will definitely get my business in a few years when my old unit finally bites the dust. I don't normally put up reviews but wow, what a difference between two companies. One has clearly trained their techs not to repair anything and just push for the sale, but Williams KoolHeat understands customer service, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM if you need any HVAC work. read more

EXCELLENT SERVICE From the time I called and spoke to Sherry, who handled the call and took all the information to help me. I live in Niagara Falls, where Enbridge Gas is changing their meters. When they came to change my gas meter, they found several gas leaks from my pipes inside my home around the furnace and hot water heater. My gas was immediately shut off. It was going down to around 0 degrees that night, I was in a bit of a panic. Speaking to Sherry, she reassured me she would definitely try to get someone there as soon as possible. She absolutely put me at easy with her calm personable manner. Elmer, was my service man. What a delight! Elmer, is a gentleman, very professional. He repaired everything and explained everything and always said, "do you have any questions?" He was very kind, courteous and neat. We had a problem with our boiler, and our pump stopped working. I called Williams Kool Heat and asked Dave to come over and see if he could take a look at the problem. I got a very courteous and timely response. Dave and his team came over and assessed the problem right away, Dave first gave us a solution that wouldn't cost us any money, which I was very grateful for. Eventually we did need to replace the pump which I knew was inevitable, but thankful for the extension of life for the original pump. Very nice man who informed me of my options and gave information on the age and quality of my furnace and air. I would definantly recommend to family and friends. You wont regret it. Service requested - did an excellent job in getting the A/C working and told us that the rooftop furnace (on a cement slab) worked but needed the heat exchanger replaced. He was on time, polite and didn't try to sell us what we did not need - like a new furnace / A/C unit. They did a job for us back in 2020 and we were and still are extremely happy.
