Everything is clean, relatively organized, and stocked well - a contrast to other long term opened HomeGoods locations. I've never been the biggest fan of TJX Companies' offerings (TJ Maxx, Home Sense, Marshalls, Sierra, HomeGoods), but some of the newer locations have been growing on me. Perhaps it's the newness or maybe they're getting less gaudy/lame junk and more decent offerings. There were more than one item I would've considered purchasing, but I needed to behave since the holidays are approaching and I'm on a budget. I didn't have any interactions with employees - as I usually don't at these stores as rarely anyone will ask if I need any help (not that I mind because I prefer it the other way around) and will go out of their way to evade the customers, so I can't comment that aspect. The cuing area is decent and I saw no lines and more than one cashier. As mentioned, it's in the spot that Staples used to be in - so those who know the area will know where I'm talking about. This new location shares the same space with some businesses, most notably a Pizza & Brew and TJI Fridays. Parking lot can be busy at times, but I've never had an issue finding a spot. There's decent parking on the side of HomeGoods as well. Overall a good entry in an area of good shopping choices and one more store to add to Central Park Avenue's large overall shopping options.

I was greeted by the nice people that worked there by the door I didn't realize how distraught I looked because of the heat, Chaka immediately noticed and delivered absolutely perfect customer service as soon as I walked in. She and another cashier guided me to what I needed at a reasonable price at that. As rang me up she gave me a bit of wisdom and I was able to accomplish my goals today. This Wegmans is in a position where I can easily utilize them for work-related functions, and that's exactly what I did. So far, I have had two separate experiences with Meals 2Go. The first one was a few months back when I was in charge of providing breakfast for a work function, and the second one was to provide lunch for a meeting. On both instances, I utilized the online ordering function; it was pretty easy navigating through the prompts and I was able to schedule my pickup time. While online ordering went through pretty seamlessly, I did find that more customizable ordering or arranging a pickup time not offered online requires a phone call. For example, the earliest time I was able to pick up breakfast when ordering online was 10am, but was able to pull it up to 8am after calling. On the day of pickup, I parked in one of the designated spots which contained instructions to text a number. Shortly after, a team member came out with my order. Note that I chose this option, you can also go in to pick up your order or have it delivered. The food itself was great - which I expected as Wegmans food is typically high quality. Overall, I found my experiences so far with Wegmans Meals 2Go to be pretty smooth. They offer a lot of different food options and reasonable prices, which really makes it an ideal choice for catering. They likely have not heard the last of me.

I have no issue with the service (although for Thanksgiving I sat waiting for over 30 mns at the designated space and no one came with the order. I ended up going in and standing on the pickup line (which I wouldn't have minded doing from the beginning, but I had been told to wait outside for the order to come to me). I give them a pass for that experience since it was Thanksgiving Day and things were very hectic. My main issue is with the quality of the food. I ordered glazed carrots at Thanksgiving that tasted absolutely awful. I also ordered mashed potatoes. In the pictures online, the potatoes look like they come in a tray. What I received were 3 mashed potato "balls." Totally unappetizing. The gravy and apple crumb pie were okay, nothing exciting. I ordered the filet mignon today for Easter. Completely tasteless. Will not be placing any more orders with them. Their items are not cheap. I don't mind paying for quality. However, when the food lacks both quality and quantity, that's a crime.

i try my best to support local shops in white plains and visited choi's wine and liquor to pick up…read morea few bottles of vino for a weekend event. good selection of booze and prices were fair, i decided to pick my own without help from the store worker and i think i did a good job with the selection . place is a bit dark inside but the bottles are display in a way that is easy to see whats what. the front store display window is set up nicely in a way that will make you look for a while before going in. decent booze shop in white plains that aint fancy but sometimes we dont need fancy.
