This is a wonderful idea as it advocates for cleaner water and streams (for those who place medication down sinks and waste ways). In addition, this event is a "no questions asked" event. I have been here before for other events such as the R.R.P.D summer camp for youth. My son has attended a week of camp here with the R.R.P.D. These week long camps are held every summer, are free to the public, and are ran by R.R.P.D. These summer camps stress the importance of teamwork, physical fitness and the importance of being a law abiding person. #backthebadge

He made conversation with me and he was friendly and funny. Asked where I was coming from and I told him I was in an Agatha Christie play at The Vortex where I was playing a Hungarian maid. He told me he was just giving me a warning "but I'll need to hear your Hungarian accent." I did a few lines from the show for him. And, not for nothing, but he was pretty easy on the eyes too. This large round rock served as a guide for the Natives and Early Settlers by marking a very important low water wagon crossing. Today, the wagon wheel ruts are still visible in the area which played a key role in the Chisholm Trail Also known to some as the Round Rizzle (or Da Rizzle), it has become the second fastest growing city in Texas. Da Rizzle has one main street where you will find several eateries and bars. RR plays host to live music at venues like Juniors and The Brass Tap, just to name a couple. In front of City Hall you will find a splash pad, and, a stage for live music acts. Also, along the small stretch of Main St, you will see creative art sculptures that you will find pleasing to the eye. Da Rizzle isn't all about what you will find along Main Street. Heaven's no. RR is growing so fast it's hard to keep up with it all. Lots of nice eateries along 620, Gattis School, I35 corridor, especially in the I35/1431 area. There you will find lots of shopping and eating. I could list a bunch of businesses in this review, but, it's more exciting to venture out on your own and find your flavor. Da Rizzle carries its own unique vibe to the surrounding area. It is surrounded by fast growing communities like Georgetown, Pflugerville, and, Austin. All of which have an interesting history. Like the Capital city, RR hosts it's own festivals, just not near as many. Whatever vibe you're looking for in a Suburban City, you're bound to find something to fit your fancy in Da Rizzle.

The county has an impressive half-million people, so it's no small parcel of land. It's become the home to a lot of new people, as Austin has been growing tremendously, and people are moving in from across the country to become Texans, and make Williamson County their homes. Williamson County has lots of shopping options, with major retailers here making giant shopping complexes and outlet malls. Recently, Texas built the Toll Road that goes around east Austin, and really opened up access to the eastern part of Williamson County, creating lots of opportunity for growth. The county has some parks and green spaces that make it a good place to visit. Most people just go zipping through it along I-35, but if you slow down a lil', you might see some scenery.

Like so many yelpers have already mentioned, you do need to make an appointment which is not at all difficult. I actually called in the morning on a weekday and got an appointment within three hours. The number to call is 512-974-4343. On my visit I brought all kinds of paint, fuel additive, cleaning agents, lubricants, and pesticides. To be honest, I thought they were going to charge me something for this collection of environmentally damaging products, but I offloaded everything onto their carts in a matter of minutes and was on my way. My wife and i and a friend and two of her children walked around and tried just about everything being offered by these amazing restaurants and caterers. A lot of our favorite places were here, Jack Allen's Kitchen, Greenhouse Local Craft Food, Fire & Ice Pizza Bar. Some of the businesses were giving out coupons for appetizers and discounts....i must admit we loved that! This is a fantastic way to try foods from places you may not have visited yet! This is going on our calender, we need to do this again! I wonder if they've thought about doing this more than once a year?!
