I've dined in once and ordered takeout many times. Food have always been outstanding. Service was always great, except one time during pick up that I had to sit and wait almost 20 minutes in the car. Fed up, I went inside to their pick up counter, but there was no one manning the area. Everyone was busy serving customers inside the restaurant. Seeing my food waiting on the shelf and still no staff coming, I just took my food and left. No one even knew I was there. Got an email from them asking for my experience. I told them it was inexcusable that they abandoned their pick up post, just because they were busy inside. Received a response the next day from one of their bosses apologizing profusely and promised to make correction to their deficiency. And guess what? Ever since then, my food always came out promptly when I drove up, sometimes even before I finished parking. This should be a lesson for many businesses. It's ok to make mistakes, but when your customers tell you there's a problem, you listen and make corrections, not just blow them off. That's why Willie's gets 5 stars from me. read more

Of course, Houstonians are well familiar with Willie's. A lot of them come to eat at their restaurants and this location in Jersey Village is one that I visit from time to time. My review of several years ago needed updating however the score didn't change. My most recent visit was to order the seafood platter (fried) for $22. I picked coleslaw as my 1 side dish. The food arrived about 10 minutes later and was a large platter of fish, shrimp and crawfish tails along with some coleslaw along with my extra side dish of coleslaw. Yes I forgot it already comes with some slaw so I had plenty of coleslaw either this meal, By the way their coleslaw here is pretty good. This was a very filling and good tasting meal. The 2 fish filets, 5 shrimp and many crawfish tails were all delicious. The seafood is better than you might expect because they know how to fry it. Trey was my server and I have requested him before because he is a first class waiter. Ask for him. This location has plenty of parking, a large outdoor patio and many TV's inside. Service was great- no flavor in the Mozzarella sticks...to the extreme for the shrimp. We asked for cajun spice- As soon as I think restaurants understand cajun means a "flavoring" with spices...I forget to ask "are they Hot ?" as in I would seem like they used a bottle - of liquid zatarins to a lb of shrimp. a cap full of liquid zatarins with fresh cut lemons-onions-fresh cut garlic-celery- some powdered "normal" pepper salt spices is all you need, bagged zatarins for a little extra - Not so much liquid carb boil read more

The delivery went well, and it arrived on time. One of my bags was semi open and the container wasn't all the way closed as well.. but maybe it fell or something.. who knows! I also enjoyed my food! The portion size was perfect. The only thing I wasn't a fan of putting my sauces on top of my chicken! Wow! What an incredible restaurant! From the moment i walked in i felt like i was at home. Friendly greeting at the counter, and recommendations from a seasoned veteran employee. Chips and Queso were delicious as well as the ribeye nachos. Great Flavor! It was a fun place to visit and felt very nostalgic as this is a classic Texas icehouse! I will began by saying wow! By doing this review I may ruin it for other people that will come here. There is nothing wrong with this place, great food for your buck, I wish they had more locations, I hen you walk in you get the sense of a cool sports bar, is the smells of the food, the people that work here. Kudos to management. It took me a while for this review , I came here at least four times to check out the food, I've had the Shrimp PO boy , grilled. Delicious and good portion of shrimp, the grilled chicken salad was great, the burgers were amazing, the tenders are crispy as they should be, and moist inside. I would say a mix of great foods They even have crab legs, and other things you wouldn't expect in one place. Thank you for putting out good food for my money. I am getting tired of having to pay and what I cook at home is better, I worked and learn a little when I worked at restaurants as a kid. read more

Yesterday we stopped for lunch about 2:30 at the location in Copperfield. I ordered a chicken fried steak sandwich. The picture looked delicious. The reality was a huge disappointment. The breaded steak was a flat, frozen patty sold at grocery stores or Cisco. I had to really look to see any meat. The patty was so thin it was easy to overfry, and it was. It was hard. I do not understand the business model here. Surely no one thinks this is acceptable! My daughter ordered chicken tenders. She said they were delicious but she knows they will be and doesn't stray. I called in my order from here on 9-21-2025... Once I got home with my order, the order was wrong... I had no mushrooms for my turkey mushroom burger, the meat was old and cold. I don't live far from the restaurant and I picked it up as it was being brought from the kitchen. So it shouldn't have been cold. When I called back to let them know, they didn't answer the phone the first time and then picked up the phone and hung it back up the second time. The customer service was horrible... The guy that took my order was rude. Rushed me off the phone... Repeatedly asked me, "Is that all for you?" (Which should've been my first red flag not to order) If you can avoid this location, please do so because the food is horrible and cold. The customer service is absolutely non-existent. Used to order their chicken tender kid's meal a lot as a kid. I ordered that again this week and while it wasn't as amazing as nostalgia painted it to be, it's definitely not bad for $7. You get 3 decent sized chicken tenders (although thin flavorless breading without any crunch) and fries (great but a little over-salted). Unfortunately, they only have ranch, ketchup, and honey mustard for sauces and I kept wanting a Cane's like sauce. Tried their fried pickles which were great! My friends enjoyed their tacos. Locals (usually older folk) seem to patronize this place. You order at the front and give the order to your server. It took awhile for our food to be prepared. I accidentally called this location to place a to go order. The gentlemen who answer the phone (had a really deep voice -no name provided) was so polite and professional. I wish I knew his name so I could give a proper compliment. I ordered my whole meal and then he said you know we are at HWY 290 & Jones? OOPS. I called the wrong one. Came here on a week night for dinner. Parking is very available in the parking center. It's a order at the table establishment and similar to Mia's in terms of food options. Pricing is not bad but honestly the quality of the food is very subpar. Don't think anything is made fresh or in house and pretty sure everything fried was frozen. The pulled pork sandwich was not great. The meat tasted very pre-made and the slaw was also below average. Wouldn't really recommend as I think most should eat dinner out at a higher quality joint for dine in. read more

I ordered three lbs to go with shrimp mushrooms sausage etc. they came in a well insulated bag I thought was super cute. Now the first thing I go for is always the soft red potato but I didn't like them. Almost like a vinegar taste. I was afraid to eat the crawfish after that so I found the sausage and loved the flavor! Lets just say everything else was great. Even the mushrooms. I especially loved the corn and shrimp. I ordered a chicken loaded potato and specifically asked for NO bacon and for the chicken to be on the side. My ticket on the back says OTS cheddar and XTRA bacon. When did I say anything about the cheese ?? My husband had to go get it fixed just for there to still be bits of bacon and a piece of lettuce?? on my potato. She answered the phone with the dryest attitude as if she didn't wanna be there. It's hard to find a place like this where the food is very good, portions are big, and overall not real expensive. It is a casual place with lots of TVs. Been here for decades. Food is consistently good. Lately the service is exceptionally fast like we get our food in 5 minutes. They may even be faster than Jimmy Johns lol. We generally get the bacon Willie burger, sometimes the fried catfish but order it blackened, the kids always get the tenders. Chicken Caesar's salad, pulled pork tacos or anything with pulled pork, the onion rings, the tortilla soup, loaded fries or the baked potato are other things we order. As I entered the cashier was not making any eye contact with us . And not even a smile. Our first time there and I had to ask where I could get a cup she just pointed to three cups of ice . They were dirty and had lipstick stains on them. So we sat down and waited about five minutes when a young Man said if we were taken care of I said yes and he later asked to see my receipt and he took it. And our order was brought later . Went to the one in Jersey village. As I walked in the establishment, there was an odor. It wasn't a heavy odor but it was an odor of some kind. I couldn't recall what it was at first, then as I was walking back to my car, I recognized it it was either rotten food in the kitchen or garbage piled up in the kitchen. Not going back! read more
