My friend and I stopped in to grab a nice cold drink after being out in the sun all day and riding my bike. I decided to swing by and check out some of the specials which were still very expensive in my opinion. There is happy hour every day from 2 PM to 7 however, frozen margaritas are not included on that special so if you're looking to have a really cold drink, you may have to go elsewhere. I got a chicken quesadilla plate, which was decent but nothing too spectacular. The service sitting at the bar was quick and welcoming I may come back to this place. read more

We dined as a family of 4 Friday around 5pm. There was one other family present who was finishing up as we arrived. We've dined here before so we were very thrown by our most recent experience. Ordered queso, margarita, mojito, fajitas, kids burger and chicken nachos. The mojito was misheard and an incorrect drink was brought. I politely clarified and she went to remake the mojito. 2 staff searched bottles in the bar and eventually brought the mojito which was made very incorrectly. Observing their uncertainty while trying to make it, I should have just canceled it. Since it was a happy hour special, I assumed it was a drink they commonly made. I did not drink it and brushed it off. The queso was fine. The kids burger was fine. The margarita was fine. The chicken nachos came out as beef and looked as if it was made in the microwave. After a few bites, my teen was not interested in eating them and said they tasted weird. The fajitas were bland. The pico was very cold. The beans and rice had no flavoring. We hurried and wrapped up our meal with most of us not eating much for nearly $100. We had full togo boxes that were thrown away at home after retrospect of the experience. I had a slight concern of food safety after looking at the variations in food. There were 3 ladies covering it all there and I'm not sure if it was burdensome to wait on us as the only customers or just disinterest. I was hoping to just email the restaurant but contact info is not on their website. I write this not because I need anything made right but in hopes this was an expensive one-off experience. We appreciate how convenient this location can be and would like to see more businesses thrive in this area but after this experience, we all agreed there's plenty of other restaurants to pick in the future. read more

My husband and I frequent this restaurant for dinner. Today we had their breakfast. They serve breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 am-2:00 pm. They have hazelnut creamer for coffee, which is a plus for me. Not all restaurants do. I ordered the Deluxe Plate. It was enough for two people. I poured the green salsa (the best IMO) over the eggs and made my own huevos rancheros. You can substitute the toast for tortillas. My husband had the huevos con chorizo with potatoes and beans. Also, large portions. The food is worth returning for and the service was great. read more

Visited this evening and had a decent experience with the taste and quality of the food (except for the cold rice); however, service and atmosphere scored poorly for my partner and I. First, after our server took our order and brought us our food she never came back to check on us or refil our cups. We finally had to flag down another server for help. We were there at 7:30pm on a Saturday and there was maybe only one other table of guests and a few people sitting at the bar. Not only was service almost non-existent, one table remained dirty with no customers at it for the duration of our visit. For a restaurant where we were one of the only customers sitting at a table we would of thought service would be better. Also, looking around the place it's clear that things need to be updated. A lot of things seem to be a hold over from the previous restaurant that use to be in that space. The covers on the chairs are fading and in some places falling off. Also, the chairs are hard and uncomfortable. Nothing you want to sit at long. There's no host stand when you walk in so you have to wait for someone to greet you from across the room. read more

Delicious Mexican food. Nice, clean, and colorful atmosphere. The tortilla soup was delicious. The chicken and vegetable tacos were flavorful and the portion of the two tacos were huge. Yeah, right up the middle with this one. Not great, not horrible. Just average. The salsas with the chips were okay but not remarkable (and the green one was so utterly bland, a theme for the meal). For a pre-dinner rush with only two other tables, service was pretty slow. The green sauce on the pollo poblano: could have been anything, so lacking in flavor or acidity or saltiness. Beans and rice are more nondescript than standard fare, almost no seasoning whatsoever. The margarita is actually MORE bland than the sauce. This is the kind of place my parents (in their 80s and not foodies in the least) would enjoy. Not adventurous or interesting at all. Again: not horrible. Just nothing special. read more

My husband and I ate breakfast here this morning. We each had tacos, and he had charo beans, as well. I asked for a small side of fruit, such as they serve normally with the breakfast entrees. They brought me a small bowl of fruit, and then, when they brought the check, I was charged for an entire Fruit and Yogurt entree. I asked the server, and he said that was the only way to charge me for the fruit. I told him that this was robbery, and he shrugged and said talk to the owner. I am outraged.
