Something that nobody ever wants to hear but we found hair in our pizza... three or four times in a row we found hair embedded in our pizza, absolutely disgusting. We would order, find a hair in our pizza, not order from them for a few months, and then try again- STILL HAIR! Even grocer is that this last pizza we got we ate the whole thing and then noticed a hair... I have called and notified them before, but apparently didn't matter. We camp in eastford each summer and stop to eat at Wellington pizza too for late lunch/early dinner on Fridays. We usually have a,small potato pizza and a large antipasto (which we love). Changed it up today had a calzone with the antipasto, then had an apple pie pizza, took it to the camper for dessert tonight. OMG it was fabulous! The best ever, especially with vanilla ice cream. Horrible. They make Sicilian pizza dough "only on Fridays". Silly me. I thought that sounded special. The dough was gummy, not at all like a good Italian crust that has a light, airy texture. The sauce had no flavor. Greasy cheese. And a weird under taste that I could not figure out. My husband likes the grinders here. Avoid the pizza. I ate one slice and was not going to take the leftover pizza home, but he would have been embarrassed. In the garbage it goes when we get home. A surprisingly solid pizza from a small hole in the wall shop. Ordered a small with red onions and they added green peppers as well by mistake. Server apologized and gave us the mistaken pizza au gratis, offering to get the correct pie to us while we picked at it. They have very good wings as well. Those got devoured before pictures could be taken. Good quality, good price, good pizza, and great staff If I had to ding them on anything it would be that they have off-tasting tap water. I'm sorry but I've never had a good pizza from WP Too. If you want Willington Pizza I suggest going to the other location. Every pizza I've ordered here has either been soggy, or overcooked. I always do take out, and sadly never check the pizza prior to leaving. The last pizza I got the toppings were so burnt that I didn't really eat my pizza. At least with a soggy pizza you can pop it in your own oven, but even that is disappointing. I've never ordered anything here besides pizza, so I can't vouch for their other menu items. read more

Last time ordering online, ordered a BLT grinder. As specific as I could get, I put NO Mayo. Not only did the grinder come with Mayo, they put cheese & peppers on it. BLT=bacon, lettuce & tomato. My son had to throw it away. So, this time I ordered, I ordered online but called in the BLT grinder, and specifically said: only bacon, lettuce and tomato; NO Mayonnaise! Once again, no mayonnaise must mean put mayo on a BLT. Once again, my son threw a $10 grinder away. Hi Foodies, I have to give this restaurant a negative review after spending $47 on a extra large house pizza and mild wings on a Saturday evening. The pizza was soggy with a wet crust. It was not well made or cooked properly? The leftovers we threw in the garbage as it's too risky to eat again and we don't ever waste food we pay for with hard earned money after a long work week! My mom had diarrhea after and I was dizzy. The wings were ok but pink inside not cooked properly, very greasy and so large couldn't fit in the small little cheap dipping cup they give you of blue cheese with two or three celery sticks. The worst part about this place is that everyone knows it's good! The cheeseburger pizza (with pickles and ketchup) is amazing along with their classic red red potato pizza (WITH bacon AND broccoli). We love the house salad and have bought it by the gallon. Tonight I ordered the Chicken Caesar wrap with homemade chips and it was exactly what I wanted. Will order it again. The kid likes the Hosmer Mountain sodas. My dad loves the meatball and sausage casserole and orders it every time. The sauce on the pizza is really good and there are definitely a lot of toppings. They make a heavy pizza, so definitely not a thin crust style. Nice place in town to get pizza and wings. Came in around 8:30PM to place a to-go order. There is a front counter as soon as you walk in where you can place your order. The employee at the counter was friendly. Other than pizza, the menu consists of soups, appetizers, breads, salads, and some dinner entrees. My only complaint is that the pizza is pricey. If you want to create your own pizza, a small is $8.95 while a large is $14.95. Additional toppings are $1.50 per topping for a small pizza and $2.25 per topping for a large pizza. Premium toppings are $1.99 per topping for small pizzas and $2.99 for a large pizza. They offer different bases for the pizza, such as red (just a regular cheese pizza with red sauce), white, and pesto. The pesto base is more expensive than the red and white bases. For specialty pizzas a small pizza is $10.95-$13.50 while a large is typically $23+They do not offer medium sized pizzas. We ended up placing an order for 2 large pizzas, one large cheese ($14.95) and one large California pizza ($23.95). We also placed an order for a cup of New England clam chowder ($4.95), lemon pepper wings ($10.95), and sweet red chili wings ($10.95). It took about 15 minutes for the food to be ready. The pizzas were delicious. They square-cut the pizzas and the pizza crust is more on the thinner side (but not too thin). I really enjoyed the cheese pizza - it's the classic cheese pizza you'd hope for and had the right ratio of sauce and cheese. The California pizza had fresh garlic, mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and black olives as toppings. It was also tasty but I think I will go for another specialty pizza next time as I don't enjoy the tart flavor of sun-dried tomatoes. My parents, however, liked the pizza especially with the sun-dried tomatoes. I also really liked their wings. Crunchy and juicy in texture. They seasoned the chicken well so the lemon pepper and sweet red chili flavors came out well. The sweet red chili isn't spicy, it's more sweet. The New England clam chowder was a little lukewarm but nothing a microwave can't fix. It was a delicious clam chowder and they gave me plenty of oyster crackers to go with it. Overall great food. I'm convinced with every restaurant I've had in the area that ppl here have been deprived of good food and therefore mediocre food is amazing to them. Mediocre is the perfect word to describe Willington pizza. I've tried many pizzas here now and nothing's really made me say wow. The best out of the mediocre bunch is the red potato pizza with bacon and cheese (No broccoli), cheese pizza is ehhh, add bacon still ehhh. But the worst was the taco pizza. Was quick and prompt an offer to refill my beer when is empty and also brought and refill the water as needed.
