However, that changed when I visited Rise & Shine. They have a super yummy, vegan-friendly burrito called Keepin' it Kind. Most of their smoothies are vegan or can be modified to be vegan. The Tooty Frooty smoothie I had was very refreshing and tasty, chock full of mango, pineapple, and other fruits. Rise & Shine also offers baked goods and treats like homemade granola bars. The granola bar I got was delightfully chewy and filled with seeds and dried fruit. I didn't have the chance to have their coffee, but the menu offered a variety of unique beverages. The cashier I spoke with was very sweet and made me feel welcome in the area. The overall vibe of the cafe was cozy and reminded me of the cafes we have in the Bay Area. Rise & Shine is your best bet in town for a healthy, wholesome meal. I'm really glad I found this spot!
