The Tooty Frooty smoothie I had was very refreshing and tasty, chock full of mango, pineapple, and other fruits. Rise & Shine also offers baked goods and treats like homemade granola bars. The granola bar I got was delightfully chewy and filled with seeds and dried fruit. I didn't have the chance to have their coffee, but the menu offered a variety of unique beverages. The cashier I spoke with was very sweet and made me feel welcome in the area. The overall vibe of the cafe was cozy and reminded me of the cafes we have in the Bay Area. Rise & Shine is your best bet in town for a healthy, wholesome meal. I'm really glad I found this spot!

They have a cute and large outdoor patio area where you can bring your dog as well as a covered semi indoor area and a smaller indoor area. They are open from 7-2. I loved that I could build my own breakfast and ordered 2 eggs over medium cheesy chili grits and a fruit cup. My husband also ordered two eggs over medium bacon and hashbrowns. The eggs were cooked perfectly! I can't tell you how many times I have gone to restaurants and chefs. Do not know how to cook an egg over medium! Cheesy green chili grits were fantastic just the right amount of spice and a great cheesy topping so good! The fruit cup was plentiful with grape strawberries and cantaloupe, pineapple and all nice fresh fruit. My husband said the bacon was perfectly cooked and the hashbrowns had a great crunch.
