Wings are great, and on wing night it's hard to beat. But the service is always so lackluster that it's hard to justify going here frequently. Out of my six visits, the worst service was delivered by Wendy who was very snappy for the few times she was actually at our table. VERY. Disappointed. I have been coming to Willy's for years now and we always look forward to our time here, but this visit has turned me off. I ordered a titos and coke , ( first drink of the night) and when it came to the table it tasted very strong of gin. When I brought it to the bar, and very kindly I said " I'm so sorry I ordered a titos coke and this tastes like gin" the bartender snapped and said I made this myself I know it titos. I apologized and brought the drink back to my table. I still couldn't take the taste of the drink and my waitress asked how things were and I told her I'm very sorry but ( replayed the conversation with the bartender) and she apologized and went to the bar to get a new drink. The bartender marches over to the table with the bottle of titos and a coke and ice and says " I'm not wasting anymore titos" and pours the glass in front of me SPILLING titos all over my leg and rudely walks away. It was so uncomfortable and rude the way she spoke to us. I was so offended I told my waitress who was very nice and she said the bartender said it was my third drink when in reality I had just got there and it was the first I ordered. read more

I love the wings and have been there before on Thursday night got timely service last time but last night we waited 45 minutes just to place an order the waitress we had was unattentive and the other tables around us all were complaining the other waitress brought our beers to us three times and all her tables including ones that came in after we had ordered got there food before we did. My son asked to go for his birthday and after we left he said the great wings are not worth the wait 3 hours by choice is one thing but that was outrages. Vacationing in Newfield with a large group,kids & adults. Got on yelp to look for a good dinner lance and came upon Willy's. You NEED to go here! We were so pleasantly surprised with all our meals. Seafood,pasta, steak.... everything exceeded our expectations. We only wish Willy's was closer to home. We'd be regulars. Highly recommend you give this place a try. Love coming to Willy's for the wings, beer and potato wedge fries. Be warned, the heat scale is 1-10, 8 (5 alarm) is about as hot as a spice lover should tread. I am truly conditioned to eating the level of heat that makes most others fall into the fetal position, but these wings tested my intestinal fortitude. The sauce got into a small surface abrasion (couldn't really be called a cut) and it is so hot that it felt like my soul was being extracted from my body via that abrasion. The seasoned potato wedges help dissipate the heat and I also recommend you order the salt and vinegar wings to help with brief respites from eating the sun. Ok, that being said, this is the third time I've had the 5-alarm and will most likely subject myself to them again #notabrilliantman. My wife and I had dinner here on Friday July 1st. We sat outside on there new deck . The service was incredible. All of the girls were very kind and helpful. The food was top notch ! We each had wings and a meal. The Parmesan Encrusted Chicken is a must. There Chicken Caesar is also a great choice . Don't miss out on visiting this establishment this Summer. read more

As a regular customer at Willy's I was greatly dissatisfied by my recent experience. We brought my visiting daughter and grandchildren for dinner. We arrived early to miss the rush and were only one of 2 tables seated. The waitress brought us our menus and then disappeared. When we asked for service, another waitress arrived. After taking our order we waited almost 30 minutes for our meal. When it arrived, they did not get the order right and the food served was not up to it's usual standard. When we complained, instead of a manager, we dealt with one of the waitresses. Overall it was a terrible meal. Should have stayed home and cooked. read more

What a disappointment. The place caught our interest with its name. There are some interesting decorations but the fun ends there. In and out it took two of us almost 2 hours after being seated to get served ,eat and get out. It is dark and dingy inside. The prices were high and the seafood was not very good. I ordered the seafood platter which consisted of two bite size fish nuggets, half dozen overdone tiny clams, about eight terrible pre-frozen breaded scallops a small handful of slimy breaded small shrimp and a small portion of fries. There was no cocktail sauce so I asked for some. The coleslaw was in a small cup the same size as the tartar sauce. I was still hungry after eating the entire so called 'platter'. I was taken aback when receiving the bill to find I was charged fifty cents for the cocktail sauce. Unhappy not so much for the fifty cents but that they actually charged extra for it. I spoke with the manager and told her that when you get shrimp in any of the restaurants I have ever been in the cocktail sauce is included. I told her that for $29 bucks plus .50 cents that the portion was a rip off and the food not so good. The manager said she would tell the owner. That was it. No removal of the fifty cent charge and no compensation what so ever. We went back to our usual haunt tonight not Willies, where I ordered the seafood platter. Two of us ate it as our meal and were both full it cost $ 27.00 and came with cocktail sauce. There was plenty of delicious seafood too. If I could give ZERO STARS to Willies I would. We are locals and we won't be going back there again. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Have been here many times and the food and staff have been great tonight has been the worst experience ever the place was not busy at all and it took 45 mins to get a side of Mac n cheese nachos and a grilled cheese. I ordered a second margarita and it tasted like water when the waitress took it back the bartender told her she would not remake it and I could pay for a shot of tequila to put in it are you serious. Then the nachos came out lettuce was wilted hardly any cheese and they looked disgusting I didn't even touch them the waitress asked if I wanted a box I said nope. She then came back and said the manager was looking at them and seeing if he could do something about the bill. Manager comes out apologizes asked if he could get me anything g to replace it I said no because I didn't want to wait 45 mins again. He ended up taking off the drink and nachos and said he wanted to make it right with a gift card wanted to know what we usually get when we come so we told him he came back with a $20 card to cover a drink and nachos sorry that's not enough for the things that went down! My friends had been here multiple times and had been telling me about how amazing the wings were for a long time. Finally, our travels took us near Acton and we were able to all go in together to enjoy some wings and beer--something that we looked forward to all day. We went in for lunch on a Saturday at an off hour, probably got in around 2:30ish. I saw draft lines and a list of draft beers on the chalkboard and ordered one when the first waitress came over. Her response was "That's not a thing." Then stared at me like I was delusional and pointed out the bottled beer list. Awkward but ok. After a fair wait, another waitress/bartender (pictured on Yelp by another customer and labeled as Angela the rude bartender--so we are not alone) came over and took our beer order. While she was at the table, we asked her about the wings and referred to the sample platter. After another wait, we got our bottled beers and each ordered 4 different types of wings (aka the amount that comes on the sample platter... that my friend had asked about when the waitress had been over to take a beer order). We waited a long time for the wings, but we expected that as our friend is Celiac and his had to be baked. During this time we finished our beers and had to wait a good while for a second round. When the food runner came out with a big tray stacked 3 layers high with wings, we were confused. Apparently they were all for us.... 120 wings for 3 people. Does that seem like a reasonable order to you? Keep in mind neither waitress was around for the food drop. Instead of ringing in the sample platters, the waitress had rung in 12 separate plates of wings. There wasn't enough space on the table for them and we had to stack them. Even the table behind us was enraged by the food order screw up. Who orders that much food?! The second waitress came over after several minutes and her reasoning was that lots of people come in and order enough wings to take home too. When I told her that her job was to clarify what we were asking for she got extremely offended, gave me the hand, and stormed off into the kitchen. She never came back to our table. Never. She sent the first waitress over with the check when we made it clear that we were ready to go. The check had been adjusted to sample platters for $24 each. I have no idea whether this is the actual price of the sample platter or not. When we asked this waitress why there was no price for the wings on the menu, she said that it was because they are priced by market price. I've never been anywhere that has chicken wings priced like lobster. All in all, our tab was over $112 for 6 bottled beers, "3 sample platters of wings", and 2 sides of green beans. Completely over priced, even with the adjustment. Then a few days later, I check my CC statement and they mixed up the total for my check and my friend's check. That is something that we can work out amongst ourselves, but is also something that we shouldn't have to deal with, especially after everything else. While the wings were tasty, the service ruined it. We will NOT be back to waste our money again. I suggest that you don't waste yours or order the wings as take out. read more

We have been going here for about 3+ years and have never had a bad time , the food is ALWAYS good ,staff are great ! Nice music and always friendly, bartenders are always on the run to serve guest .They have bands Friday - Sunday . Yesterday was my first time going to Willys. I will never go back. The service was horrible. We went in for the World Cup game after being at the lake all day. The server made some very rude comments to us and after they took our food order only half of us received our meals. We were told because of our large group they put our orders in separately. I am a server myself at a very busy restaurant. Large parties are something you should be used to and their orders should all go in together. I asked for ketchup three times for my fries and never got it. I asked for water several times and never got it. We were told by other customers that the staff was warning them about our table. It is a bar during a sporting event it's going to get loud. I am not one to write reviews of places but my experience was so horrible I felt I had to. I don't think this place even deserves one star and I do not understand what everyone sees in it. read more
