7 days after my car off the lot and it left me broke down.

I do not recommend buying from Wilson's Auto Mall. This is my 2nd and final time buying from them. They sold me a car that I drove for a total of 5 days to and from work only. I parked it for the weekend and then drive it to work on Monday. Day 7 of having the car. On lunch break the car broke down and I had to tow it back home. The car has been broken down for longer than I was able to drive it. I sent 2 emails 2 different days before someone called me back. Meanwhile it rained and the roof leaks so water was pouring inside my car. Puddles of water were in the seats and floor boards. Now there's mildew and mold in the car and it smells. I called back today to speak again to the owner. He wouldn't get on the phone to speak to me and I was told it's too much paperwork to put me in another car. I'm a single mom every dollar I had went into getting this car and I'm left high and dry. My only option is to take a loss for the car or tow it up there at my own expense and see what happens. Please do not let these people rip you off. I really recommend finding some place that cares about the safety of the vehicles they sell and taking care of their customers.

price quoted on website and over the phone went to go get it and NOPE man was rude, said no way was he selling it got that price. AVOIDE

Stay away! When things go wrong, they disappear. I wish I had read the reviews before going there!

Outside of the lack of communication the service advisors are quite friendly. This is where the realm of what I've experience with this dealership ends. This is Ford specific This part is Ford specific: Last year I purchased a 2019 Ford F-150 Limited. I can say that ever since my extremely bad treatment back in 2015 when I bought a brand new 2015 Mustang Ecoboost where it was in the shop for over 94 days, I have been extremely hesitant about buying another Ford. Somewhere between dealing with the multitude of issues that Ford has yet to work out in terms of the engine and transmission to the quality of the product. So giving them a chance after 10 years my thought was that they must have at this point gotten their mess together. Oh I was wrong and very wrong at that. The truck I bought, was about 5 years old, but it was the top of the top of the line. Had the best interior quality and had a raptor engine but packaged in a Platinum body. After owning it after a year here's what I have found. The leather on the seats wears so fast that currently the seats on my truck look like the leather seats in a 2001 Lincoln Town Car, it's worn and shriveled. The dash above the steering wheel has started peeling up. This was, in 2019, a very expensive truck and the materials don't show that at all. Ford has told me that it's $5000 to replace the dash. So owners replace it others don't even care due to the cost. I've had the truck in for a multitude of issues to include the transmission twice, and other functioning parts a couple of times. Ford use to be extremely reliable but when Ford tells me that its going to cost $123 to replace a cabin filter and the cost to replace the cabin filter on my 2024 Cadillac was $76, I have serious concerns and questions. This is Gator Ford Specific: My 2019 Ford F-150 Limited went into Gator Ford when I first bought it last year, not even having it for a month, but that was expected when I bought it used. They found somethings that needed attention, and working with my previous service advisor made things very palatable. The communication wasn't what I wanted it to be but he was extremely professional and really ensured that everything was handled at his end. This last time when I came in, my spouse and I were extremely frustrated at the extreme lack of communication. The fact that Ford thinks its ok that people can go more then a week without a vehicle especially when the work they are doing is warranty work for a new Ford part. I turned my truck into service on the Tuesday before thanksgiving, and it was ready Monday afternoon of December 8. That is unacceptable to have to be without a car that long. Further more the lack of communication and the promises of updating and keeping me abreast of the status of my vehicle never happened. I should not have to call you repeatedly to find out what's going on with my vehicle, but have a progress report of what's going on daily if not every other day and when milestones are hit the advisor should be letting the customer know those milestones. I felt like i was pulling out teeth. Between finding out why a brand new transmission was kicking to why the AC felt like it wasn't cooling the truck fast enough. I got multiple responds regarding all the issues and at one point didn't find out that the trucks transmission was being worked on until Thursday 12/4 which puzzled me as no one told me why. So massive problem I have found is the communication between customer and business, but there is one event that caused me to get so furious that it led to me writing this review. Over the last two times I've had my truck at Gator Ford for service, I have had a very expensive scent diffuser broken, and this last time I went to pick up the truck there were multiple grease stain on the doors and interior as well as the fact they didn't clean up after themselves and left my important documents that they took out of my glove box on the floor. I know of no business that treats other peoples vehicles like this and to do so means that you have no respect for your customers or their property what so ever leaving water bottles and trash in someone's truck and leaving it a mess is very bad business i have to say.

I've been seeing this dealership pop up constantly online, so I decided to finally check them out…read morein person today. Based on reviews I read beforehand, my experience ended up being very similar. I did not purchase a vehicle, and here's why. First, it took about 10 to 15 minutes just to get assistance and have the car brought out. The staff didn't seem organized. The salesperson helping me appeared to be juggling multiple things at once and almost forgot about me and another couple waiting. Second, the condition of the vehicles was disappointing. The car I test drove was dirty, and it wasn't just that one. Most of the cars on the lot looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned or prepped. That already gave a bad first impression. Third, while sitting in the car before driving, I reviewed the Carfax. The vehicle had a reported accident on June 15, 2024 involving a sideswipe with damage to the right rear. It was listed as minor damage, but there was also a note about prior structural repair, specifically around the rear wheel housing. When I asked about this, I was told they don't really have to disclose damage like that. That response alone made me uncomfortable. Whether that's technically true or not, transparency matters when someone is making a purchase like this. Trying to downplay it and then saying other dealerships operate the same way didn't help. Fourth, during the test drive, the salesperson kept directing me to make right turns only. That stood out to me. I chose to make a left turn instead just to see how the car handled differently, and it seemed to catch him off guard. That raised concerns about whether they were trying to control the route to avoid certain driving conditions. Overall, between the lack of organization, the condition of the vehicles, and the way concerns were handled, I wouldn't recommend this dealership. The prices may look attractive, and they don't negotiate, but you get the sense that the target customer may be someone in a rush or not fully aware of what to look for. For context, I'm not someone who enjoys leaving negative reviews. I try to be fair and honest. But this experience was surprising enough that I felt it was worth sharing for others to be aware.

The car salesman that helped us out was Andre and he is a nice and knowledgable guy. He was patient with the other cars we wanted to see and answered our questions when he had the answer. If he didn't which happened from time to time he didn't make stuff up but checked the internet or asked other salesmen. We didn't end up buying last August, but returned this past weekend. We took a look at maybe 10 cars and we had it down to a beautiful 2018 Infiniti QX30 and a nice 2017 Outback Impreza. Both vehicles came at a reasonable cost and I felt we would have gotten a deal buying either one. We ended up choosing the Outback. We decided to finance through Car Heroes because on certain vehicles this gets you a reduced price of around a grand. Both my wife and I have excellent credit so we figured we would get a finance rate of 5%. Well, unfortunately we were pretty far in when we found out our rate was 6.9% for two co-owners with excellent credit. This was probably the most negative aspect of the car dealing experience for us here. Of course we could have skirted around the issue if we had come pre-qualified through one of our banks. The cost of the vehicle would have been an extra grand though. There are trade-offs. Through all of the finance applications and signatures we were helped by Brian who is a nice guy. We were probably with him for and hour and half to two hours. He didn't rush us through any of the process and we felt free to back out or say no on any occasion. The cars sold here are all ex car rental vehicles so they come with more miles than usual for their age and a bit more wear and tear. People don't treat rentals with care or respect, because its not theirs after all. However, you are free to inspect and drive all the vehicles here and you may save just enough that it ends up being worth it for you. I thought our Outback was in great condition and three days in and it is running great. Only time will tell if there is an issue we don't know about, but I think we got a nice car. This business is expanding so wait times can get up there. We went on a Saturday and with all the looking, driving, and signing we did we spend about 4.5 hours there, but during previous visits it was pretty empty. During the week and work hours is a great time to come. As they increase in size and hire additional employees this place should improve. This dealership may not be for everyone, but I like the transparency of their fees, they get nice cars in all the time, the staff is nice, and the prices are very competitive even with the negatives.
