My initial experiences with them started out favorably- I needed a radiator replaced on my truck and they had it done in about a week. However, the water pump started leaking, and I took it back to Cartime to have it replaced- that's when the problems really started. I went through a colossal ping-pong game with them to get the water pump replaced, and it still never happened. The owner claimed he was ordering the part and lied about it- first he said he was buying it online, then he said he was getting it at a local parts store. Nearly two weeks elapsed before he even claimed to have the part-and I still don't know if he was telling the truth. I insisted on paying him for the work that had been done on it in diagnosing the water pump problem. The owner said it would be $150 and he only took cash- a huge red flag. When I asked for a receipt after paying that amount, he said he would text it to me on my phone. That never happened. The hours they post were not accurate; they would close early and were frequently unavailable for me to check on the status of my truck. When I'd call their number, it would just ring- no voicemail, no return calls. Nothing. All in all, they held my truck for nearly a month and never did anything to it. There was always an excuse- their mechanic didn't show up to work, their garage didn't have adequate heating, always something. Then, the owner has the gall to post a rebuttal on social media saying he didn't charge me for the time my vehicle was on his lot- even though it was there due to his own incompetence. And he also made it out as if he were doing me a favor by not charging me for the antifreeze that was put in my vehicle- even though I paid him $150. Their ethical conduct andcustomer service is beyond horrible-PLEASE pick any auto mechanic shop other than this one if you're in the Lebanon area. read more

If you're going to schedule customers, you should actually be prepared to help them when they show up. Instead, I left frustrated, inconvenienced, and feeling like my time didn't matter at all. My brother, who is partially disabled, has taken his 2018 Hyundai, to Wilson County Hyundai for repeated engine issues. Every time they charge another $185 for a diagnostic fee and then $185 per hour for labor. A few weeks ago he took it in due to engine issues and was charged over $500 for a $35 part and 1/2 hour of labor. When I went back with him to question the charge, the service person said that was their policy. To charge a diagnostic fee every visit, $ 50 shop charge and $185/hr. for labor. I asked how they sleep at night charging someone over $500 for a $35 part and 1/2 hour of labor. No response. In the past 6 months, my brother has spent almost $2k in engine repairs and the car still burns oil. My brother has been a loyal Hyundai customer for 18 years and they do not care. I emailed the owner, Paine Bone, and never even got a response. Needless to say, we will never set foot in a Hyundai dealership again. We went last week and bought my brother a 2025 Toyota Corolla. I just had the WORST experience trying to purchase a car! The sales associate seemed nice and helpful through the weeks leading up to purchase. Found the car I wanted at another dealership and got it on the lot, ready to go. I told the associate I would be financing through USAA. He stated he had issues with them before. He said they could match or beat the rate! Great, right? NOT. Today I was supposed to purchase vehicle. He stated that they could NOT in fact match the rate, but would discount a few hundred dollars on price. I told him no thank you, we would continue to finance with USAA. I am a busy woman. I mean busy. I contacted 9 Hyundai dealerships. I was working closely with 3 of them. I literally had an hour and a half to purchase a vehicle. I drove an hour and a half to one on my only day off in two weeks, who had run my credit and knew exactly what I wanted. I came to buy a car unseen. It was scheduled to arrive the first week of Sept. But the salesperson never gave me numbers (payment & interest rate) and tried to put me in a vehicle they already had. Considering my time crunch, it wasn't a good idea. He kept saying "it takes 3 hours to buy a car". This process felt more like a break up from an abusive person than buying a new car. So I left without purchasing anything. Two days later Wilson county motors called to say they just got the car I wanted in. (I was on their list). I explained my troubles before and asked if they could accommodate a busy person. Absolutely! They ran my credit, prepared my car, took a down payment on the phone and made me an appt for two days later to finish up. They had me in and out in less than an hour! I think all car buying should be this easy. Some times we just need people to listen. Wilson County Hyundai is a circus full of clowns We had a good sales/purchase experience here. Matthew Wright is a great salesperson. The one star rating is for the Service department. The first issue was my Service Advisor, Phillip. I saw his name on the estimate paperwork. But he never spoke to me. The estimate I received was very vague. All it said was diagnostics. Matt, my salesperson actually showed me the damage. At one point I was told I might need to wait months for the part(s). The worst part was waiting six hours for a $1800 repair to the radar module. . I arrived here before 9am. I was told the repair would take 2 to 2.5 hours. I let them know I was waiting. When I checked on the progress of the repair three and a half hours later (at 12:30), I was lied to. I was told they pulled it in 10 minutes ago and it would be another hour. At 12:54 I received a panic alert followed by an unlock signal at 1:01pm. This indicates they hadn't even started on the repair! This was the lie I referred to earlier. My Palisade was completed at 2:45. When I went to pay, I was informed (for the first time) of a 3% credit card fee! The service manager said he could not prevent the charge, but he could adjust the invoice to allow for it. Several minutes later, my credit card was run, but the amount charged (before the fee) didn't match the invoice! After waiting another 15 minutes, I finally received an invoice that matched the CC charge. As I drove the car, I found the radar had not been calibrated correctly. It sees vehicles in the right lane and slows down my cruise control unnecessarily. . I will not be going back to Wilson County Hyundai to get it properly calibrated. BTW, Matt offered me a loaner vehicle, but I told him I would wait if it was going to be less than 3 hours. At this point, there is nothing Wilson Hyundai could do to get me to return here for service or my next purchase. read more

Unprofessional, Incompetent, and Lazy.... Within an hour of my scheduled appt. I received a text (not a personal phone call) informing me that due to short staff. Wait times would be longer (did not state how long) and I would be awaiting for an unknown time unless I rescheduled. Meanwhile, I was already driving the 45mins it took to get there. Once there, Ramay!? the young lady checked me in, and also stated the wait time was unknown. I explained the issue with my window and the sound it was making, I was there for a second opinion... after getting set up in the waiting area. She arrived to ask about my window tint. It was asked if I did it myself, and I explained No. it was a lease and that is how I got it back in 2020. Why would that matter? She left and came back a few mins later and informed me that they "might" have to charge me all labor to open up the panel.... I pushed back and asked what is the "might have to charge me " all about, the car is a lease and has less than 20k miles so there is a warranty. She could not give me a direct answer or advise on the cost. It was left up to me to decide if I wanted to give them approval on blank check service... She also stated that the tint (that was on the car when I began my lease in 2020) was not factory, and I should go back to that dealer since... Well, that dealer is in Tampa FL and we are in the Hills of middle TN. There seemed to be no care for customer service. I felt my only option was to bless them with my Amex and let them run up fees with no direct answers in hopes someone would find something that would be covered. This is not how I do business nor how I wanted to be treated. It really seemed as if I was being pushed out the door due to them being short-staffed. Seemed like my service would require a lot of time and effort and not the quick buck they rely on to support their overhead... I will never come to this location again due to the distance, but due to the lack of professionalism and customer care. read more

Several days ago, after stopping by another dealership, my son and I went to Wilson County Hyundai to look for a reasonable car. On arrival, we met Matthew Wright, in sales. Immediately, my son inquired about one of the newly delivered cars. Matthew took a few minutes to gather information as to what we we looking for in order to better assist us. While looking at the vehicle, he asked a few pertinent questions about finances, and asked if we would like to test drive the vehicle. Prior to our test drive, we filled out a short finance form to which Matthew gave us several options on price and financing that we felt would fit our budget. We then test drove the vehicle, and upon arriving back to the dealership, we were greeted by the finance manager who had approved either of the options we were looking at. In total, we spent no more than about two hours at the dealership and drove off with my son's new car. During the entire transaction, there was no pushiness, or heavy sales tactics, just friendly service. I felt we received a really good deal, which included a number of years of vehicle services. Absolutely do not buy from Hyundia unless you want your car in the service department frequently. 2023 Tuscon 11,500 miles has been in service 3 times in the last 6 weeks. Same symptoms everytime. First time they couldn't find anything wrong and gave it back after a week. Second time 2-3 weeks later my car magically needed 4 fuel injectors. Remember " we can't find anything wrong" statement. Third time 5 days after getting it back the second time, Hyundia techline decided it was bad gas. Tech at Hyundia informed me it was .01 off from being a "good gas" reading assured me that isn't the issue and I will have the same symptoms again just tell him when it happens and he will order parts that he knows bad gas isn't causing the issue. A crankshaft sensor is needed. Fast forward to one day after last pickup SAME ISSUES except this time I also can't get into my gas tank to fill up and my car is idling rough. Fast forward to Monday contacted the tech was told parts are being ordered. Called today (Tuesday) to check the status of the parts and GUESS WHAT they haven't been ordered due to needing to contact Hyundia. Hyundia 100 customer service satisfaction is a joke! Especially when you pick up your car they have had for 9 days to be told you will have this problem again and will have to bring it back in. They didn't push me to pay more than I was willing and I got a pretty good deal on a brand new Kona that I can afford. Unfortunately, while I have only had my car serviced here exclusively, I have now had 5 similar or identical malfunctions with my engine resulting in the car going into limp mode and now straight out stalling in the middle of a busy road, I feel the service department has not made a sufficient effort to diagnose/fix what I now consider to be a very dangerous car that I no longer feel safe driving. I must remove my 5 star rating. Thinking that telling me the car is fine while in their care and it must be the gas I am using is a crock. Lets get to the truth please. Maybe a more qualified mechanic/technician is needed before I get killed!? There must be a reason Hyundai Genesis coupes are no longer manufactured and the car lost value so drastically. Granted, that is not dealer specific but Hyundai Motors in general. Very disappointed that they do not care enough about my safety and well being in that death trap I cannot unload due to the drastically drop in value over just a 3 year period.
